For example, the Attorney General requested my medical records for the criminal case against the perpetrator. Despite my requesting them promptly, it took nine months for the hospital to send the records in a sealed envelope. By then, Will had already negotiated a settlement with my medical insurance using the information I’d sent him from my patient portal.
