This involves handling the legal and administrative aspects of transferring property ownership, including preparing and reviewing documents, ensuring clear title, and disbursing funds. The positive review suggests efficiency, timeliness, and a high level of preparedness in their closing services.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering the negative reviews available. One particularly concerning review alleges serious professional misconduct. This reviewer claims that a paralegal at the firm, without their knowledge or permission, accessed and shared client privileged information, including emails, with an attorney holding a judgment against them. The reviewer further states that this action resulted in the loss of a significant piece of property from their father's estate and the placement of a lien on their father's house. This review paints a picture of a severe breach of client confidentiality and potential ethical violations.

Another negative review echoes concerns about the firm's handling of financial aspects during closings. This reviewer claims that Wessels & Dixon, P.C. identified debts that were not owed and deducted money from their closing funds. They further allege that the firm would pay these claims without question upon being presented with them. This raises serious questions about the firm's due diligence in handling funds and their potential impact on clients' financial interests during real estate transactions.

Given these starkly contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively characterize the features of Wessels & Dixon, P.C. While one client experienced efficiency, professionalism, and problem-solving during a closing, other reviewers allege serious breaches of trust, ethical misconduct, and questionable financial practices. This discrepancy highlights the importance for potential clients to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging their services.

The positive review suggests features such as efficiency, timeliness, preparedness, and a client-focused approach in real estate closings. However, the negative reviews raise significant red flags regarding client confidentiality, ethical conduct, and financial responsibility. These allegations, if accurate, would represent severe breaches of professional standards and could have devastating consequences for clients.

Closing attorney was efficient and timely. This office is ran like a tight ship. They're friendly and courteous while getting the job done. At close it was my client that was actually late, but the attorneys and staff quickly assessed the situation and switch things around so that no party was made to wait more than 15 minutes. I appreciate your diligence and hard work. All paperwork was there and ready days before the actual closing. They have become my preferred closing attorney. Thank you guys!!

His paralegal dug up an old judgement against me that I didnt know about and contacted the attorney holding that judgement without my knowledge or permission, gave him all my information and then furnished him with all the emails between us. This was all client privileged information. It resulted in the attorney stealing a 3/4 of a million dollar piece of property from my Dads estate that didnt belong to me and putting a lien on my Dad's house to satisfy a much smaller judgement against me. It has destroyed my credit and life. Im 60 years old and disabled. In a closing, they will dig up debts that you dont owe and take money out of your closing funds. You dont have to do anything but make a claim and the will pay without question. If i could give them a few thousand negative stars I would.

Would give zero stars if it was an option. The most unprofessional closing attorney. They admitting to have received certain documentation but stood fast that even though it was their fault they would not offer solutions to the problem. Instead the attorney left the room to return only to hurl insults and the storm back out. Really. Worst experience ever. Must have received their law degree via correspondence course.
