Location and Environment:
Weisberg Law is situated on the 21st floor of a building located at 1500 Walnut Street in Philadelphia. This is a prominent address in Center City, a bustling commercial and legal district. The environment is typical of a high-rise office building in a major metropolitan area, likely housing numerous professional firms and businesses. While the physical office space itself is not described in the reviews, clients visiting this location would generally expect a professional setting with reception areas, private offices, and meeting rooms.
Services Offered:
The provided client reviews do not explicitly detail the specific areas of law practiced by Weisberg Law. However, the negative experiences shared suggest that they handle legal cases that require timely action, organization, and adherence to court deadlines. Without further information, it is challenging to definitively list their services. Typically, law firms in Philadelphia may offer services in areas such as:
- Civil Litigation
- Personal Injury Law
- Business Law
- Real Estate Law
- Family Law
- Estate Planning
Given the serious nature of the complaints in the reviews, potential clients should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence to ascertain if Weisberg Law's areas of expertise align with their needs and if the firm can provide competent and reliable representation.
Features and Approach (as described by negative reviews):
The available customer reviews paint a concerning picture of Weisberg Law's features and approach:
- Poor Reviews: The first reviewer explicitly states that they understand why the firm has "poor reviews now," indicating a broader pattern of dissatisfaction beyond their individual experience.
- Lack of Compassion and Dismissive Behavior: The second reviewer advises others to seek firms that are "compassionate and not dismissive, regardless," implying that Weisberg Law exhibited a lack of empathy and may have been dismissive of their clients' concerns.
- Odd Behavior: The third reviewer describes the attorneys as having "very odd behavior," raising questions about their professionalism and demeanor.
- Negligence in Case Handling: A significant complaint is the alleged failure to file the client's case for "almost a year," which constitutes a serious lapse in legal representation and can have severe consequences for the client.
- Loss of Client Documents: The claim that the firm "intentionally lost all my binders" is extremely troubling, as client documents are crucial for building a legal case. Such behavior suggests a severe lack of organization and professionalism.
- Unreasonable Deadlines: Giving a client only "1 day to respond to discovery" is highly unusual and places an undue burden on the client, potentially jeopardizing their case due to insufficient time for proper preparation.
These negative accounts raise serious questions about the firm's competence, professionalism, communication, and overall client care. Potential clients should carefully consider these experiences when evaluating Weisberg Law for their legal needs.
Promotional Information (based on negative feedback):
Based on the provided client reviews, it is challenging to identify positive promotional aspects of Weisberg Law. Instead, the feedback serves as a cautionary note for potential clients. The themes emerging from the reviews suggest the opposite of what a law firm would typically want to promote. The absence of positive feedback and the presence of serious allegations of negligence and unprofessional behavior effectively serve as negative promotion, highlighting significant risks associated with engaging this firm.
Local users in the Nearby Lawyers category are strongly advised to take the feedback provided in these reviews very seriously. The experiences shared by former clients suggest potential issues with case management, communication, professionalism, and client care at Weisberg Law. It is crucial to conduct thorough research and seek out reputable firms with a proven track record of providing competent and ethical legal representation. The advice to "do your research and look for reputable firms that are compassionate and not dismissive" is particularly pertinent in this context.
Given the gravity of the allegations in the reviews, potential clients should consider seeking legal services from other firms with more positive and verifiable reputations. Engaging a lawyer is a critical decision that requires trust and confidence in their ability to handle your legal matters with diligence and care. The feedback regarding Weisberg Law raises significant doubts about their capacity to provide such representation.
In conclusion, while Weisberg Law is located in a central area of Philadelphia, the available client reviews present serious concerns regarding their professionalism, case management, and client care. Local users seeking legal representation in the Nearby Lawyers category are strongly encouraged to carefully consider this feedback and to prioritize firms with more positive and reliable reputations. Thorough research and due diligence are essential when choosing a legal representative to ensure your case is handled competently and ethically.

I understand why they have poor reviews now. I don’t even have to say more. Please do your research and look for reputable firms that are compassionate and not dismissive, regardless. God bless.
These are 2 Danny Devito lookalike Attorneys w very odd behavior. DIdn't file my case for almost a year . Intentionally lost all my binders. Gave me 1 day to respond to discovery.
Matthew Weisburg is extremely rude and very Unprofessional. Missed initial scheduled meeting. Tried to set a meeting on a Sunday and then called out of the blue demanding to speak then. No professional courtesy. Talked over me during the entire consultation. I can see why his reviews look the way they do. He's not just a terrible attorney, he's a terrible person!
Beware, this is a boiler room of attorneys that will take your money and do nothing on your case and intentionally reck your case. Stay away....
Proficient and Honest Attorney After speaking to three random attorneys about my bank account being compromised and the issue being quite old, I simply gave up the idea of obtaining an attorney for help. I now was dealing with a judgment against me and bank garnishments that wouldn’t quit. I called Atty. Gary Schafkopf and after speaking to him, I felt empowered to start the process to get this issue resolved. He was quickly understanding of my issues and explained my options. Immediately, I knew he was the right lawyer for me. He got the judgment lifted, cleared my name and had my funds returned to me. He won my case in record time. He remained reachable and was without delay. I will certainly, without hesitation, strongly recommend Attorney Gary Schafkopf to anyone seeking a proficient and honest attorney. I am finally and permanently free of bank garnishments and this injustice thanks to my new attorney. Job well done.
