• David Silberman is brilliant and a great negotiator in court. Over the course of my two year long case, David became more than my legal counselor. He became my desperately needed psychologist, my confidant, and my best friend during the worst years of my life. He treated me and even my silly ideas with an open mind, dignity and respect. He was also very gentle on my finances, by not charging me for his lengthy travel time, and offered me a flat lump sum payoff in the end to close out my payment plan with him, which also ended my monthly reminders of what my ex-wife did to me. He didn't even charge me for every text because he didn't want me to be afraid to give him important updates on the situation. Finally he was my hero. During a court hearing, my back locked up so bad in pain, that I couldn't drive home. He waited for well over an hour in the parking lot with me, until my friends arrived with my back spasm meds, and to give me a ride home. He truly works to help people. When your whole future is on the line, you can trust him to save the rest of your life.
• David Silberman was disbarred in 2016 in both IL and WI for stealing over 400K. He has been practicing illegally without a license, misrepresented me, leading to my child being illegally taken from me. Proof of his disbarment is on the iardc website and WI Bar Association website. He would not comment when I confronted him on this. Stay away from this firm.
• David Silberman is amazing. He knows what he’s doing, and he has always been there for me. He will tell you how it is and isn’t just in it to bankrupt you. If there is something that you’re requesting that seems a bit over the top, he will alert you that it may not actually go the way you want it to. He guides you. He cares for you. He’s a fighter!
• The best Divorce attorney in all of IL, maybe in the country. Very level headed, and can get things done smoothly and efficiently. Super quick thinker and understands how to be fair and just with his clients. Got my parenting agreement done, divorce settled, and able to handle the entire process efficiently and cost effectively. My prior attorney promised a lot, but did not do anything he promised. Michael delivered everything and exceeded my expectations during the entire process. If your attorney is going against him, better not try and play hard ball, cause you will lose.

• Stay away from Michael Weiman of Weiman Silberman at all cost. He didn’t even show up for my trial which caused me to lose everything I had. When Judge Rivera asked Michael Weiman’s assistant why Mr. Weiman wasn't at trial, he said, “He's with another client.” In my Judgment for Dissolution of Marriage, Judge Rivera wrote, “Moreover, co-counsel informed the court that DAVID’s counsel also had another matter to attend to elsewhere.” The judge was so upset with Mr. Weiman that she started the trial without him being present. When I first met Michael Weiman he told me I would not have to worry about Judge Bellows, our original judge, because his dad use to date Judge Bellows and Michael and Judge Bellows had a great relationship. Turns out that relationship was not too great. Michael Weiman was recommended to me by a family member who was friends with both Michael and his wife. If he’s not going to be professional under those circumstances, he won’t be for you either. Please note that Mr. Weiman is currently under investigation by the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) for unethical behavior and has hired an attorney to represent himself. This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding Michael Weiman’s unprofessional and unethical conduct during my case of which I will share at a later date. For now, I recommend that you avoid Michael Weiman of Weiman Silverman at all costs, you will be so grateful that you did.
