Reviews

  • Megan is the best! We had a father's rights case and she got us almost everything we were asking for through mediation so we don't have to go to court. Extremely pleased! Definitely recommend her! We had a bad experience with a prior lawyer and this time we chose the best. She fights for you and doesn't back down. You definitely want her on your side!
  • Megan Wallin likes to violate the law when the defending party is under Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection with a contempt hearing she did it twice to me when she was representing my ex-wife. When she was informed 3 days in advance I think by my attorney that I filed bankruptcy and he sent her the paperwork before the contempt hearing she didn't drop the complaint which when Chapter 13 is filed all creditors must abide by the bankruptcy stay and stop all judgement or collection actions. Then when the judge seen I was in bankruptcy, Megan Wallin pushed for another hearing while I'm in bankruptcy my bankruptcy attorney had to send her a nasty email reminding her of bankruptcy law even in divorce cases.
  • This is only for the good fathers out there. If you are wanting custody of your child/children, then you definitely want to hire Megan! She did an outstanding job with my modification case. She was transparent in communication and surprisingly quick with getting the ball rolling. Megan, thank you for everything you have done for my family!!!
  • Megan Wallin represented me through the adoption of my stepson after his father had been absent for many years and decided to contest the adoption. She kept me up to date every step of the way and was very personal and professional. She comes to the courtroom prepared and really knows her stuff. An absolute shark when it comes to her clients case. Highly recommend.
  • Megan Wallin is the best attorney in Coweta! The opposing party was very difficult but she was able to reach an agreement so we didn't have to go before the judge. I am extremely happy with how hard she fought to get the outcome I wanted and her ability to expedite everything. On top of all that, her rate is very affordable! So thankful I went with her as my divorce attorney!

About Wallin Law, LLC

This introduction provides a detailed overview of Wallin Law, LLC, a legal practice situated in Newnan, GA, tailored for local users exploring legal services through a "Nearby Lawyers" platform. This objective assessment will cover the firm's environment, the scope of its services, distinguishing features, and relevant promotional insights, drawing directly from available online information, including direct client feedback. The aim is to present a balanced perspective for potential clients seeking legal representation in the Newnan area.

Wallin Law, LLC is conveniently located at 5 E Broad St, Newnan, GA 30263, USA. This central location in Newnan ensures accessibility for residents within Coweta County and the surrounding areas. A physical office address in a town's core often signifies an established presence and commitment to serving the local community directly. For individuals in need of legal assistance, particularly in personal or sensitive matters, a nearby and accessible firm can be a significant advantage, reducing travel time and fostering a sense of local connection.

The environment of Wallin Law, LLC, as gleaned from client reviews, presents a mixed picture, which is important for prospective clients to consider. One client review describes a highly positive and successful experience, stating, "Megan is the best! We had a father's rights case and she got us almost everything we were asking for through mediation so we don't have to go to court. Extremely pleased! Definitely recommend her! We had a bad experience with a prior lawyer and this time we chose the best. She fights for you and doesn't back down. You definitely want her on your side!" This feedback paints a picture of a firm, and specifically attorney Megan Wallin, as a strong advocate, tenacious in representation, and effective in achieving client objectives, even avoiding court appearances through mediation. This suggests an environment where clients feel vigorously defended and their interests are a priority.

However, another review offers a critical perspective, highlighting potential concerns regarding adherence to legal protocols, particularly in complex situations involving bankruptcy. This client stated, "Megan Wallin likes to violate the law when the defending party is under Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection with a contempt hearing she did it twice to me when she was representing my ex-wife. Then when the judge seen I was in bankruptcy, Megan Wallin pushed for another hearing while I'm in bankruptcy my bankruptcy attorney had to send her a nasty email reminding her of bankruptcy law even in divorce cases." This review describes an experience where the firm, allegedly, did not immediately respect a bankruptcy stay, leading to continued legal action and requiring intervention from the opposing party's bankruptcy attorney. This suggests that while some clients perceive strong advocacy, others have encountered challenges concerning adherence to specific legal procedures, especially when intersecting with other complex areas of law. This duality in client feedback indicates that while the firm may be highly effective for some, potential clients should be aware of these differing experiences when considering their services.

Regarding services, Wallin Law, LLC appears to have a strong focus on family law, given the nature of the positive review which specifically mentions a "father's rights case." Family law encompasses a broad range of legal issues, including divorce, child custody, child support, visitation rights, spousal support, and domestic violence. The success in mediating a father's rights case suggests proficiency in negotiation and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients in sensitive family matters, potentially avoiding the more adversarial and costly process of litigation. For local users, a firm specializing in family law is a crucial resource for navigating life-altering events and protecting familial interests. While the positive review highlights success in family law, the negative review, also within a divorce context intersecting with bankruptcy, underscores the complexity of these cases and the need for careful consideration of all legal nuances.

The features of Wallin Law, LLC, as illuminated by the reviews, include a perceived strong advocacy style. The phrase "She fights for you and doesn't back down" from a satisfied client indicates a tenacious and assertive approach to representation, which can be highly appealing to clients seeking robust defense of their rights. This commitment to fighting for clients' interests, even through mediation to avoid court, can be a significant advantage. The firm's location in Newnan also serves as a key feature, offering convenient access for local clients. The direct phone contact, (770) 683-3663, and mobile phone, +1 770-683-3663, provide immediate means of communication for inquiries and appointments, streamlining the initial contact process.

From a promotional perspective, the highly positive testimonial for family law services, particularly regarding father's rights, serves as a powerful endorsement. It speaks to a successful track record in achieving client goals and avoiding lengthy court battles through effective mediation. This type of word-of-mouth promotion is invaluable for a law firm operating within a "Nearby Lawyers" category, as it directly addresses the concerns and needs of potential clients. For individuals seeking legal counsel in family law matters, the assurance that a lawyer "fights for you" is a compelling message. However, for a comprehensive understanding, the critical review also forms part of the public perception and would be accessible to those conducting thorough research. This highlights the importance of potential clients reviewing multiple sources of information to form a complete picture of the firm's strengths and areas where caution might be warranted, particularly in cases with intersecting legal complexities like bankruptcy. The firm's consistent phone presence also acts as a direct promotional tool, ensuring ease of access for new client inquiries.

In conclusion, Wallin Law, LLC, located at 5 E Broad St, Newnan, GA 30263, USA, appears to be a local law firm with a strong emphasis on family law, particularly adept at handling cases such as father's rights. Client feedback indicates a firm that is perceived by some as a strong advocate, willing to fight for client interests and achieve favorable outcomes, even through mediation. However, another review highlights potential issues with adherence to specific legal protocols in complex cases, such as those involving bankruptcy. This mixed feedback is crucial for local users to consider when evaluating Wallin Law, LLC for their specific legal needs. The firm's central location in Newnan and readily available contact information make it an accessible option for residents seeking legal services in the area.
