I agree with the other 3 existing reviews, this man is a terrible judge (and I know what I am taking about, as I am a very experienced litigant). I had the displeasure of appearing at a motion hearing before this judge for the first time on Oct 20, 2023 via Zoom. It was clear that he did not read the motion papers at all (i.e. neither my opposition, nor even defense counsel's moving papers). He was completely unaware of the basis for the motion, which defense counsel had to spoon feed to this judge during oral argument. He then not only refused to let me explain the basis for my opposition before jumping to the incorrect conclusion (i.e he cut me off after only the first 2 sentences out of my mouth), he further was completely unprofessional in how he spoke to me. That is, he mocked the little bit that I was allowed to say, and then insulted me. When I tried to explain further, he told me to "shut up". Never in over 3 decades of my courtroom experiences (i.e. over 3 dozen cases and literally hundreds of court proceedings), has any other judge spoken to me in such an unprofessional manner. Then when I tried to explain the hardship that his unfair ruling would cause me, he again cut me off and callously refused to even hear what I had to say. Other reviewers have said that they had intended to file a complaint against this judge. I don't know if they ever went through with it or not, but based on my past experiences with the ACJC, they probably won't do anything unless and until dozens and dzens of more litigants come forward and file their complaints, as I intend to do now.

Partial judge. I am surprised that in the 21st century he is allowed in the courts. Very narcistic with no conscience. He seemed to have a significant relationship with a female lawyer. I think further inquiries about his behaviors are indicated at this time. He doesn't bother looking at any evidence. His involvement with this female lawyer was enough to make a decision at the start of the case. I am sure that if his actions would be investigated, as they should be, it would cause many to loose faith in the court system in Ocean County NJ. A newspaper editor reached out to me, as she heard about my case. (I assumed other cases with this judge as well, but I am not sure.) I think she may have something to unravel.

If I could I’d give negative stars. I completely agree with all of the reviewers. He doesn’t read facts or information or anything you give him. He’s lazy, incompetent, very pretentious and has no problem ruining someone’s life and mental health cause of it. I would love for him to be removed from that high horse he thinks he belongs on and get back down where he belongs, perhaps he could use some type of educational counseling to learn how to deal with family law. I’m sure I’m not the only person that was treated unfairly and can honestly say there is no fair justice or understanding to any situation. He just wants to clear his calendar and screw over the next contestant on the @“&$ show he entertains. Yea nj is not a father state but us fathers do need to pay and shut up as we fall in line for what seems like child support being more of a business. Call child support’s number ask yourself why are the defendants or people who pay referred to as customers? I’d say to all judges “don’t judge lest ye be judged yourself”!!!

This attorney has been made a judge In Ocean County family division nobody with his temperament and lack of discretion should be made a judge. I will be filing a complaint against him. I would not be surprised if I’m not the only one . On the record he compard me to another litigant from another case completely inappropriate and has a predisposed hatred to anybody wanting to represent themselves.

Refuses to follow state guidelines and makes up his own biased rules and then threatens you if you seek justice for unfairness. This judge only favors women even if they are the guilty party. If you are a man, change your venue. You WILL NOT have a fair court room.

- Fair Hearing and Opportunity to Speak: The importance of allowing all parties to fully present their case and explain their position is emphasized. This highlights the need for any legal professional to ensure due process and provide an equitable platform for communication.
- Professional Demeanor and Respectful Communication: The reviews point to significant issues with professional conduct and communication in a courtroom setting. This underscores the necessity for all legal professionals to maintain a respectful, unbiased, and professional demeanor, regardless of their role.
- Impartiality and Unbiased Decision-Making: Concerns about partiality and potential relationships influencing decisions are raised. This stresses the fundamental requirement for judges and attorneys alike to remain impartial, base decisions solely on evidence, and avoid any appearance of conflicts of interest to maintain public trust in the legal system.

- Concerns Regarding Judicial Preparedness: Multiple reviews indicate a perceived lack of preparedness, specifically regarding the reading of motion papers prior to hearings. This suggests an issue with a judge's foundational readiness to preside over cases, which is a critical aspect of judicial duty.
- Issues with Professional Demeanor: Reviewers describe instances of unprofessional conduct, including mocking, insulting, and telling a litigant to "shut up." This raises concerns about maintaining decorum and respect in the courtroom, which are essential for a fair legal environment.
- Allegations of Partiality and Bias: Strong accusations of partiality, particularly concerning a "significant relationship with a female lawyer" influencing decisions, are made. This directly challenges the impartiality and fairness expected of a judge, which are fundamental pillars of justice.
- Limited Opportunity for Litigant Explanation: Reviewers state that they were cut off and not allowed to fully explain their position or the hardship caused by rulings. This suggests a potential disregard for due process and the right of parties to be heard.
- Impact on Public Trust: Comments about actions potentially causing many to "lose faith in the court system in Ocean County NJ" underscore the profound effect that judicial conduct can have on public perception and trust in the legal system.
- Intent to File Complaints: The mention of intentions to file complaints with the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct (ACJC) by multiple litigants highlights the severity of the perceived issues and the formal steps individuals are considering to address them.
