DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! They received $2,000.00 from me and NEVER filled for my bankruptcy, never returned my money and now cannot be found. . So if you are reading this post UPRIGHT LAW, you need to return my money. You are a scam and take advantage of people at one of their lowest point.
I am so happy that I chose upright law to handle my bankruptcy case. Upright has a very efficient process of document collection via an awesome app that I could visit at anytime. I had a good feeling about them at the start with my first call, the specialist was nice and caring. I had a very good working relationship with my lawyer Roger H. Roger was great at explaining the process and did a excellent job preparing and submitting my case. Im extremely pleased with the services upright law provided. I highly recommend them to all that need financial relief.
I am very disappointed. I contacted this law firm after reading reviews my experience wasn’t as great. After speaking to the lawyer, I decided not to choose this firm. The lawyer didn’t give me much options or discuss what is the best option for my situation. Instead of feeling relieved I felt still stressed after the call. I decided not to go with this firm. Two weeks later I am billed a filing fee. I called and they told me my payment would be expedited after I told them I was already in a hardship came to them for help, which I didn’t end up getting but never did I expect this firm to put me further in the financial hole. Almost a month later still no refund, staff rushes me off the phone telling me wait 30 days despite being promised my payment would be expedited. I waited on the line for someone to provide me an update on my refund as I told him stop rushing me and find out why i didn’t get the email to track my refund and after waiting so long they just hung up on me. If you retain this firm, please make sure you cancel out any contract cause you will be billed despite not contracting them and then the run around for a refund is just not acceptable.
This company is a fraud. I paid in complete and my attorney asked for forms and paper work. I provided everything I was asked for. Then later I was contacted by another attorney to discuss my case and I was told that UpRight Law was going out of business and If I wanted his assistance I would have to pay them more money. I paid my total amount in full of $2200 and I am still waiting. This was right before Covid. I was notified that I would get a portion of my money back due to the company going out of business by the end of May and here we are 6/5/2023 and I have not received my refund. Is there a lawsuit going that I need to get involved in?
