This would provide clarity on their legal focus and whether it aligns with your specific needs.

Features that often contribute to a law firm's reputation include the experience and qualifications of their attorneys, the firm's history and track record, their approach to client service, and their understanding of the local legal landscape. However, the provided information includes a direct review from a potential client who had a notably negative experience with an attorney at the firm, D. Culley.

The provided review details an experience where the potential client sought a consultation for an employment discrimination case. According to the review, D. Culley appeared interested and took notes during the consultation, even requesting and receiving copies of the client's evidence for review. However, after a week and a half of unanswered attempts to contact him, D. Culley reportedly stated he would not be able to take the case without providing an explanation. The reviewer further states that when they requested a reason for this decision, especially given that the attorney had copies of their evidence, they received no response.

The review also describes the reviewer's visit to the office to retrieve their documents. While the receptionist was described as nice, she reportedly did not allow the reviewer to speak with D. Culley. The reviewer expresses strong concerns about the lack of professionalism and raises the possibility of a conflict of interest, suggesting the attorney might be working with the company they intended to sue and now possesses copies of their evidence. The reviewer strongly advises against using this firm for any legal issues due to the "appalling lack of professionalism."

This detailed negative review provides a direct, albeit singular, perspective on a potential client's interaction with the firm, specifically with attorney D. Culley. It raises concerns about communication, case acceptance procedures, and the handling of potential conflicts of interest. While a single review may not represent the entirety of the firm's practices, it is important for potential clients to consider this feedback as part of their evaluation process. It highlights the importance of clear communication and professional conduct in attorney-client interactions.

Given the negative nature of the provided client experience, it is challenging to present typical promotional information that a law firm might use. Law firms usually emphasize positive attributes such as experience, dedication, successful outcomes, and client satisfaction. In this instance, the available direct feedback presents a contrasting view. Therefore, it is crucial for any potential client to conduct thorough due diligence, which should include:

  • Seeking additional reviews from various online sources to gain a broader perspective on the firm's reputation.
  • Verifying the credentials and standing of the attorneys at Tybout, Redfearn & Pell with the relevant bar association.
  • Contacting the office directly to inquire about their services, attorney profiles, and client intake procedures.
  • Asking about their policies regarding potential conflicts of interest and client communication.
  • Requesting an initial consultation to discuss your specific legal needs and assess the firm's professionalism and responsiveness firsthand.

In conclusion, Tybout, Redfearn & Pell is listed as a 'Nearby Lawyer' in Wilmington, DE, with an office located on Shipyard Drive. While the specific legal services offered are not detailed, a provided client review describes a significantly negative experience with one of the firm's attorneys regarding communication and case acceptance. Potential clients should carefully consider this feedback and conduct thorough independent research to determine if Tybout, Redfearn & Pell is the right fit for their legal needs. It is always advisable to gather a comprehensive understanding of a law firm's reputation and practices before entrusting them with your legal matters.

I reached out to D. Culley at this firm for a consultation on an employment discrimination case. I went in for the consultation with David Culley and gave him details of my case. He took notes and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. At the end of the meeting he asked if he could make copies of the evidence I had brought with me. He said he wanted to review the material to get a better grasp around the case. I left the paperwork for over a week. After a week and a half reaching out to him without a response he replied stating he wouldn't be able to take my case. He gave no explanation for why. Being that he'd taken and made copies of my evidence I requested an explanation or reason why. He would not reply. When I went into the office to pick up my folder the receptionist was very nice but would not call him up to speak to me. This is unbelievably unprofessional! He may be working with the company I'm suing and has made copies of my evidence and will no longer reply to my emails. This was months ago and I don't know if there was a conflict of interest. And he has copies of my evidence on an open case. I would not recommend anyone use this firm for any legal issues. The lack of professionalism is appalling.
