Thomas M. Wich PA, located at 2701 NE 14th Street Causeway # 3, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, USA, is a legal entity that appears in this category. The firm is accessible via phone at (954) 788-7771 and mobile at +1 954-788-7771, providing direct contact points for potential clients or those interacting with the legal system in Pompano Beach.
The physical environment of a law office, while not explicitly detailed for Thomas M. Wich PA, typically aims to convey professionalism and a conducive atmosphere for legal discussions. Located in a professional suite, as indicated by "#3" in the address, it is reasonable to expect a standard office setup that includes a reception area and private consultation rooms, designed to facilitate confidential client meetings and the general operations of a legal practice. Such an environment is intended to offer a structured and discreet setting for addressing legal matters, which is generally a core expectation of legal service providers.
Based on publicly available information, including The Florida Bar directory, Thomas M. Wich's practice areas include Civil Litigation, Civil Trial, Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Trusts and Estates. This indicates a broad range of services that cater to various legal needs within the Pompano Beach community. As an attorney operating within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Thomas M. Wich PA would likely offer services such as legal consultation, drafting of legal documents, representation in court for civil matters, assistance with real estate transactions, and guidance on estate planning and trust administration. The firm's engagement in Civil Litigation and Civil Trial suggests a capacity to handle disputes and represent clients in court proceedings for non-criminal matters.
However, the provided client reviews offer a very specific and critical perspective on Thomas M. Wich, primarily in his capacity as a Hearing Officer, rather than directly as a representative for clients in civil cases. These reviews highlight significant concerns regarding fairness, bias, and adherence to legal procedure during hearings. It is important to note that the role of a hearing officer is to adjudicate cases, often in administrative or quasi-judicial settings, which differs from representing a client as their attorney. Therefore, the experiences described reflect interactions with Thomas M. Wich in a judicial role, not in an attorney-client relationship providing legal counsel.
One review describes a particularly contentious experience in a misdemeanor traffic case. The reviewer expresses profound dissatisfaction with Hearing Officer Tom Wich, accusing him of bias and finding the reviewer "guilty and fined me $500 because I knew the Statute against what I was accused of doing." The reviewer alleges that Mr. Wich was "furious" for not answering a hypothetical question and that the conviction and maximum fine were issued for an "Improper Stop" despite the presence of "No Stopping, No Standing, and No Parking" signs, and the reviewer's claim of being in a legitimate "Stop position." A significant point of contention is the denial of rehearing requests by Mr. Wich himself, leading the reviewer to believe the "system is corrupt" and that requests "should have been viewed by a non-bias third party." The reviewer also suggests racial bias, stating, "I'm sure the fact that I was a black man that did not fit his profile angered him. I'm not supposed to be an articulate and educated black man in his eyes." This review concludes with a strong recommendation for Mr. Wich to be "disbarred for his actions" as he is "not fit to be a Judicial Officer."
Another review echoes these concerns about bias and procedural fairness. This client states that Thomas M. Wich, as a Hearing Officer/Judge, "still sided with the plaintiff simply because he is a police officer" despite the plaintiff having "no evidence against the defendant." The reviewer emphasizes that civil cases require "Preponderance of Evidence" and critiques Mr. Wich's alleged disregard for this legal standard. A particularly alarming account describes a Zoom meeting trial where Mr. Wich "refused to allow a defendant to object, which is perfectly legal and well within the defendants rights," subsequently logging the defendant out of the chat by blocking their IP, preventing them from rejoining, and then issuing a "harsh fine & adjudication." The reviewer highlights that "Zoom meetings are not officially recorded" and are "at the mercy of the hearing officers discretion," making it "extremely difficult for a litigant to really 'have their day in court'." This review concludes by calling Mr. Wich "a total let down to the judicial system."
These reviews, while critical, provide insights into the perceived features of Thomas M. Wich's adjudication style. They suggest a highly assertive, potentially dismissive, and allegedly biased approach to legal proceedings from the perspective of these specific individuals. The claims of refusal to allow objections, logging out participants, and perceived lack of adherence to evidentiary standards highlight serious allegations concerning judicial conduct and due process. It is important to note that these are client perspectives based on their experiences and do not represent a formal finding of misconduct.
In terms of promotional information, for a lawyer operating within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, the strategy would typically involve highlighting areas of specialization, positive client outcomes, and professional reputation. However, given the nature of the provided reviews, which focus on his role as a hearing officer and are overwhelmingly negative, the firm's public image may be significantly impacted by these accounts. Firms generally promote their services based on their strengths, such as legal expertise, client satisfaction, and successful case results. Any promotional material for Thomas M. Wich PA would need to be considered in light of this public feedback, particularly concerning his judicial temperament and procedural fairness as perceived by these individuals. For potential clients researching this firm within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, these reviews would likely be a significant factor in their decision-making process. The firm's contact information (phone: (954) 788-7771, mobile: +1 954-788-7771, and address: 2701 NE 14th Street Causeway # 3, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, USA) provides direct access for those who wish to inquire further or potentially engage with the firm for services in its stated practice areas of civil litigation, real estate, and estate planning.
In conclusion, Thomas M. Wich PA, located at 2701 NE 14th Street Causeway # 3, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, USA, and reachable at (954) 788-7771, operates within the "Nearby Lawyers" category. While Mr. Wich's reported practice areas include Civil Litigation, Civil Trial, Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Trusts and Estates, the provided customer reviews primarily describe negative experiences with him in his capacity as a Hearing Officer. These reviews allege issues of bias, lack of due process, and a disregard for procedural rights during hearings. These significant criticisms from individuals who have interacted with him in a judicial role suggest a challenging public perception regarding fairness and impartiality, which would be a critical consideration for anyone seeking legal services or engaging with a judicial officer in the Pompano Beach area.

This is the worst Judicial system and very flawed. The Hearing Officer Tom Wich found me guilty and fined me $500 because I knew the Statute against what I was accused of doing. He was furious that I would not answer a hypothetical question that had no bearing to the case, so he found me guilty and max fine for Improper Stop while No Stopping, No Standing, and No Parking sign was present. I was already in the Stop position behind two cars at the stop sign, and crossing guard was allowing children to pass. I told my son to exit the vehicle. He was two steps away from the school ground in a Residential neighborhood. The officer wanting to meet his quota stopped me after I made a left to Royal Palm Blvd, and gave me a citation for letting my son out. I requested a Rehearing Twice and also to vacate sentence due to Mr. Wich bias. I came to find out that Mr. Wich was also the rehearing officer that denied me three times. What should I've expected? The system is corrupt. My requests should have been viewed by a non-bias third party, but each time he's the one making the decision. Where is the justice! I'm sure the fact that I was a black man that did not fit his profile angered him. I'm not supposed to be an articulate and educated black man in his eyes. This is for a Misdemeanor traffic. I can't imagine what happens in Felony cases. Tom Wich should be disbarred for his actions. He's not fit to be a Judicial Officer.
He is one of the worst Hearing Officers/ Judges ever. When presented with the fact that the plaintiff had no evidence against the defendant, he still sided with the plaintiff simply because he is a police officer. By law, civil cases are to be decided on the Preponderance of Evidence (In a civil case, the plaintiff has the burden of proving the facts and claims asserted in the complaint. When a party has the Burden of Proof, the party must present, through testimony and exhibits, enough evidence to support the claim.) Be prepared to have a possible unfair case with this guy judging extremely bias. In a trial held by zoom meeting he refused to allow a defendant to object, which is perfectly legal and well within the defendants rights. Instead he logged the defendant out of the chat blocking his IP, so he couldnāt get back in the chat, and issued a harsh fine & adjudication. The zoom meetings are not officially recorded and are at the mercy of the hearing officers discretion, which makes it extremely difficult for a litigant to really āhave their day in courtā. This guy is a total let down to the judicial system.
Iāve always had the best experience in working with Tom Wich. He created my will & trust ten years ago, over the years he has guided me through necessary amendments as needed with my ever changing family circumstances. He is always so responsive, and easy to get a hold of, very pleasant and willing to assist. Seriously, the best experience that I have ever had in working with a lawyer. Definitely would recommend him to others.
Listen to the other one star reviews that fill this review page. Tom will waste your time and charge you for it. Be aware of con men like this who just try to leech money out of clients, not solve any problems. Even when coming to him with a problem involving your case, heāll ignore you or come up with excuses as to why he cannot answer (a classic excuse is that his computer crashed. According to him, his computer must crash 4-5 times a week.I think heās not smart enough to realize that cell phones/tablets can send emails too now, so the fact that your computer isnāt working is no excuse). It seems he thinks people are dumb enough to believe him but as I can see from a majority of these reviews, people can see right through his lies and extremely idiotic behavior. Donāt work with this mindless loser! Find anyone else, and again just look at the other reviews the one stars are absolutely telling the truth about this terrible service provided by Thomas
