However, it is important to consider the negative communication experiences reported by the reviewers when anticipating responsiveness.
Services Offered:
The name "The Property Advocates" strongly suggests that the firm specializes in legal matters related to property. The customer reviews provide some insight into the specific types of services they handle:
- Property Insurance Claims: Both negative reviews explicitly mention dealing with property insurance claims. One review details the process of filing an initial claim, receiving a denial from the insurance company, and being presented with the option of litigation. This indicates that the firm assists clients in navigating the complexities of property insurance claims, including initial filing and potential disputes leading to litigation.
- Litigation Related to Property Insurance: The first review mentions opting for litigation after the initial claim denial. This suggests that The Property Advocates handle lawsuits against insurance companies on behalf of their clients. However, the subsequent withdrawal from representation raises significant concerns.
Based on the available information, the primary focus of The Property Advocates appears to be representing property owners in disputes with their insurance companies. However, the negative experiences reported by clients regarding the handling of these claims and the firm's communication practices should be carefully considered by potential clients.
Features and Expertise:
The two customer reviews available paint a concerning picture of The Property Advocates, highlighting several negative features:
- Alleged Prioritization of Money Over Client Needs: The first reviewer states, "This firm only cares about the money," indicating a perception that the firm's financial interests may take precedence over the well-being of their clients.
- Poor Communication and Lack of Transparency: The first review mentions "several follow ups" being necessary after the initial claim, suggesting difficulties in communication. The lack of transparency is further implied by the unexpected withdrawal from the case after assurances of no negative consequences for closing it.
- Aggressive and Unprofessional Communication from Attorney: The first reviewer describes a phone call with the firm's attorney as having a "very aggressive tone," which is a significant concern regarding professional conduct.
- Unexpected and Detrimental Withdrawal from Representation: A key issue raised is the firm's decision to withdraw from the litigation instead of filing a dismissal request as requested by the client. This left the client to face a court hearing with the insurance company without legal representation, despite prior assurances.
- Feeling of Untrustworthiness: The second reviewer expresses a profound lack of trust in the firm's lawyers, stating, "If you can't trust your own attorneys then who can you trust?" This is a severe indictment of the client's experience.
- Strong Negative Recommendation: Both reviewers explicitly advise others to be very careful with or stay away from The Property Advocates, indicating significant dissatisfaction and a belief that others could have similarly negative experiences.
- Anticipation of a Detailed Negative Review: The second reviewer intends to write a detailed negative review after their claim is finalized, suggesting that their negative experience is ongoing and deeply felt.
Given these consistent and serious negative experiences reported by the only two available reviewers, potential clients should exercise extreme caution when considering engaging The Property Advocates for their legal needs. The issues raised regarding communication, transparency, client care, and professional conduct are significant red flags.
Promotional Information:
Based on the overwhelmingly negative feedback available, it is impossible to identify any positive promotional aspects of The Property Advocates from the perspective of recent clients. The reviews serve as strong warnings rather than endorsements. Potential clients should be wary of any general claims of expertise in property insurance claims without considering the serious concerns raised by these reviewers.
In light of the negative experiences shared, potential clients might consider the following cautionary points:
- Be extremely cautious due to reported poor client experiences.
- Be wary of potential issues with communication and transparency.
- Consider the reported aggressive and unprofessional conduct.
- Take into account the firm's handling of case closure requests.
- Heed the strong recommendations to avoid this firm.
It is crucial for individuals seeking legal representation for property-related matters in Coral Gables to thoroughly research and consider alternative law firms with more positive and reliable client feedback.
Conclusion:
For local users in Coral Gables, Florida, seeking legal assistance with property issues, particularly insurance claims, the available online reviews for The Property Advocates, located at 2525 Ponce de Leon #600, present a highly concerning picture. Both of the publicly available reviews detail very negative experiences, citing issues such as a perceived focus on financial gain over client needs, poor communication, lack of transparency, aggressive attorney conduct, and detrimental handling of case closure requests. These clients strongly recommend that others be very careful with or completely avoid this firm. Potential clients should take these warnings seriously and conduct thorough research into alternative legal representation with more positive and trustworthy client feedback to ensure they receive the professional and ethical service they deserve in their property-related legal matters.

Very sad and unpleasant experience. This firm only cares about the money. After several follow ups regarding the initial claim, we were communicated that the insurance had denied our claim and they presented us with subsequent options, one being litigation. We initially opted for the litigation option but after some time we requested for the case to be closed and the lawsuit dismissed. We were confirmed that there wouldn’t be any negative consequences for us. Soon after, we started to receive communications from the court. Per their attorney, on a very aggressive tone today on a call, this is something they don’t do. Instead of closing the case, they considered that since the case was viable, they simply withdrew and we are now left on our own to go to a court hearing with the insurance company. They could have simply submitted a dismissal request for the case to be closed but instead withdrew from representing us and left the case open. I wish they would have shown better intentions in their actions and would have been more transparent all along. Please consider to be very careful with this firm.
I can't wait to return and write a detail review about this company. If I can post negative 0000000 I would. I just want to finish my claim then say how I really feel. Please stay away from them and this is my true ans honest opinion from the bottom of my heart. The lawyers are so unfair. If you can't trust your own attorneys then who can you trust. I will return please use a reputable company to represent you.
Stay away from this company! Never in my adult life have I ever dealt with such an unprofessional group. Specifically Michelle. It would take a book to write of all the awful thing this law firm does. They DO NOT care about their clients.
We would like to share the exceptional experience we had with this company. From the moment we decided to submit our claim to the end of the process they were very professional and communicative. The process was well explained and whenever a question will arise all the staff was helpful, will made themselves available to assist us and answer any doubts or concerns we may have. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Jacqueline Espinal and Carlos Izaguirre for always putting forth the extra effort and keeping us inform of the status of our claim and the inspections schedules. After a short time and smooth process our family is able to be in our home with a brand new roof 🙌 .
Amazing service! Leyse Cuenca was extremely prompt in responding to my MANY questions with whatever I needed. She provided me with detailed steps of everything I needed and exactly what to do throughout this journey. Carlos Izaguirre was also very accommodating with doing whatever was necessary to get me all of the needed documents to complete the process and make sure I was understanding everything long the way. I look forward to working with them in the future!
