John will talk your ear off and charge your retainer for the time he spent rambling and gabbing about every single little irrelevant detail. He does it through email, too. I only got a divorce petition out of my entire $2,400 retainer. Now, he won't return any of my messages when I've asked questions about next steps. He was difficult to get ahold of throughout the entire time I retained his services. I do not recommend John Coy.

John Coley went above and beyond the call of his duty as an attorney. He actually visited California and got to see firsthand how my kids were /are living in CA. Most importantly he Witnessed the grandma doing things Completely out of the ordinary, which was virtually impossible for me to prove; no one believed me that the two of them are narcissists. John actually got to witness that himself. I think John Coy is a very professional and very intelligent attorney he gets in and gets things done. I would definitely want him on my side. He’s not afraid to get his feet wet! Thank you John!

I've been helping a friend through a nasty divorce. John is condescending and unhelpful, and uninterested in promoting a healthy coparenting relationship between the parties. His main objective is to fuel contention.

So far John seems to be an excellent attorney. He seems to actually care about his client's. Our case is not resolved yet. But so far, so good.... I would recommend him.
