The Cummings Law Firm, P.A., headed by Attorney Sandra Cummings, has established a presence in the Charlotte legal community. The firm can be reached at (704) 376-2853 or +1 704-376-2853. Situated in a commercial building on West Morehead Street, Suite 404, the office provides a physical location for client consultations and meetings within the city.

Based on the available customer reviews, experiences with The Cummings Law Firm, P.A., appear to vary significantly. One detailed review expresses considerable dissatisfaction with Attorney Sandra Cummings' professionalism, communication style, and case management. This reviewer recounts instances of perceived rudeness, lack of attentiveness to case details, and issues with punctuality. The review also mentions concerns about the organization of the office and alleges a lack of genuine care for clients, particularly in Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy cases. This negative feedback highlights potential challenges some clients have faced regarding communication, case preparation, and overall client experience.

In contrast, another review presents a positive experience with Attorney Cummings and the firm's services. This client sought assistance with achieving financial freedom and commends Attorney Cummings for her knowledge, experience, and ability to explain complex legal processes in understandable terms. The reviewer also praises the professionalism, pleasantness, patience, and courtesy of the office staff. This positive feedback suggests that some clients have found Attorney Cummings to be helpful and effective in addressing their legal needs, particularly in the area of financial relief.

It is important for prospective clients to consider both perspectives when evaluating The Cummings Law Firm, P.A. The contrasting reviews indicate a potential inconsistency in client experiences, possibly related to individual case complexities, communication styles, or other factors. While one client felt well-supported and informed, the other reported feeling neglected and mistreated.

When considering legal representation, factors such as communication, responsiveness, attention to detail, and a sense of trust are paramount. The negative review raises concerns in these areas, citing instances where the attorney allegedly lacked preparation, did not stay abreast of the case, and exhibited unprofessional behavior. The positive review, however, directly contradicts these points, highlighting Attorney Cummings' knowledge and clear communication.

The mention of the office staff being customer-friendly and polite in the negative review suggests that while there may be issues with the lead attorney's approach in some instances, the support staff generally provides a positive interaction. This distinction is worth noting for potential clients who will likely interact with various members of the firm.

For local users seeking a lawyer in the "Nearby Lawyers" category for financial matters in Charlotte, The Cummings Law Firm, P.A., presents a local option with a physical office easily accessible within the city. The firm's specialization appears to be in areas related to financial freedom, as indicated by the positive review mentioning assistance with this goal. This suggests that the firm may possess specific expertise in handling cases related to debt relief and bankruptcy.

However, the significant concerns raised in the negative review regarding the attorney's demeanor, case management, and client communication cannot be ignored. Potential clients should weigh these criticisms carefully against the positive experience reported by another client. It may be beneficial to conduct further research, such as seeking additional reviews or requesting an initial consultation to assess whether the firm's approach aligns with their individual needs and expectations.

When choosing a lawyer, it is advisable to consider factors beyond just location. While proximity can be convenient, the quality of legal service, communication, and the attorney-client relationship are critical for a successful legal outcome. The contrasting reviews for The Cummings Law Firm, P.A., underscore the importance of thorough due diligence before making a decision.

In conclusion, The Cummings Law Firm, P.A., offers legal services in Charlotte, NC, within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, specializing in areas such as financial freedom and debt relief. While one client review praises the attorney's knowledge and the staff's professionalism, another expresses serious concerns about the attorney's communication, case management, and overall client care. Prospective clients should carefully consider these differing experiences and conduct their own assessment to determine if The Cummings Law Firm, P.A., meets their individual legal needs and expectations.

I would NOT recommend Attorney Sandra Cummings! She has lost the caring, communicative edge!! It’s time to retire! The office staff is customer friendly, and polite, however; She is rude, unprofessional, doesn't care, and has an appearance upon greeting, or speaking to you like "whatever!" Cummings feels she can talk to you any type of way with no respect given the situation the individual is facing. When brought to her attention, her attitude is very nonchalant. She will mess your case up!! PLEASE BE AWARE..... Her Office is in disarray, and her staff just has to endure the rude customer service she provides to save face and a job. She will arrive 10-25 minutes late for an appointment you’ve scheduled with her. She will be pulling a brief/computer type bag as she enters the office, the staff will let her know who’s present. She will grab the individual(s) file, call you in and hasn’t taken the time to review notes on the file. She will ask questions to which she should already know the answers too. She doesn't stay abreast of your case, and when conversing with her has no real clue of your cases current status, and is not able to provide any helpful insight. Hurtful right?!!...especially when you look for your attorney to be able to discuss with you positive insight to your case. Don't be one with some education, and computer savvy to follow up on your case!! She doesn't like that!!! She takes advantage of individuals if she sees a way she will benefit, and doesn't seem to care how an individual "really" feels about their cases status. She will lead you down a road of uncertainty, and then ditch you when she's gotten all her money out of you!!...BE AWARE, and SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! It seems she really doesn't want to see you end your Chapter 7 or 13 successfully if you decide to choose one of those options. She has LOST the attorney's touch of quality, treating clients with dignity, and overall solid customer service. AGAIN, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY unless you have it just to give away.....She doesn't seem to care about her clients, only those she feels she can get over on, and charge high legal fees too. Additionally; you know she has lost her touch if a judge says "I shouldn’t have to tell you what you should be doing for, or telling your client, notes lack clarity, and are hard to follow!!” PLEASE BE AWARE!!

I have had to utilize the services of this law firm on two separate occasions. I sought assistance obtaining some financial freedom. Attorney Cummings took the time to explain the process with me in laymen terms as she is very knowledgeable and experienced. She ensured me that although this was a difficult period in my life; that the process would allow me the financial independence that I was seeking. The staff at the office were always professional, pleasant, patient and courteous. I would highly recommend Sandra Cummings to represent me again in the event the need was to arise.

Unfortunately I have had to file a Chapter 7 due to a divorce and a Chapter 13 due to financial problems (with the illness of my father and grandmother). She was very supportive and professional during my process. I have since completed my bankruptcy and purchased a house. I am really grateful for all of your professional help. I would highly recommend her. she's very good and professional.

Use caution with this lady. If you want a Lawyer that will fight for you, shes not it. She wants the easy cases in my opinion. If you have a complicated BK case dont waste your time. She took my money and then said she cant take my case. Even had the nerve to ask for it in cash. I do not recommend. Hand law gave me some really sound advise. Dont be fooled with her low fees because you get what you pay for.
