Let me start by saying I was referred to 2 other lawyers prior to being referred to Eric Sucharski. After interviewing them about my case I felt like I would be just another client to them. I went back to the original lawyer who referred me to ask if he knew anyone else; he then referred me to Eric. After speaking with Eric I immediately felt comfortable with what he had to say about himself as well as my case. I was being taken to court by my ex for back alimony. I knew my ex had been cohabitating for years, which in our divorce decree would dismiss all alimony payments permanently. Eric told me I needed proof of my accusations but the proof I had wasn’t enough. Eric took my case and was able to find enough information to make a solid case in my favor, which was an uphill battle. Not only did Eric win the case for me, he got retroactive proof of cohabitation to end my nightmare. Eric proved to do exactly what I hired him to do. During the entire process Eric kept me informed, being very thorough and regularly communicating what the next steps were. I wish I knew him for my initial divorce. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Without hesitation I've referred Eric to others due to my confidence in his abilities, his professionalism, and communication. As a 20+ year cop, I was quite comfortable in Court rooms, but Family Court is a different monster. Eric kept in constant contact with me and spelled out my options. His advice was spot on. His result: My exclusive possession of my home, he worked with my realtor to quickly sell the home and MOST importantly, my majority custody of my children. I’ve been through a parenting battle and a divorce that Eric took on at the same time. There are times that I would like Eric to more aggressive and a pitbull in the courts but he’ll be straight with you and give you the advice that he knows through experience so not to waist your time/money.
