  • I can only speak on behalf Of myself and daughter. Neil Steiner is a great Attorney, despite what other people say. He took care of all the ins and outs and got my daughter who was 16 at the time a great settlement for her injuries. I always recommend Mr. Steiner to others who need an injury attorney. Mr. Steiner fought hard for my daughter and for that reason I highly recommend him and will continue to use him if I ever need an Injury attorney again. One more thing I will never forget is when we went to his office and he gave us Tiffany Chocolate while we waited for him.10 stars all the way.
  • Looking back I wish I had never had my personal injury case handled by Neil Stiener … didn’t realize for years how he ripped me off. He even tried to keep a left over $2000 that was never accepted by one of the physicians who examined me but wanted several thousand more. I wrote and called him over a couple year period asking him to release the money to me that he said was “in trust” and could not be released. (I had moved from Los Angeles to El Paso, Texas). Finally, I pretended that I met the Head of the California Bar on a plane … I googled and found out that he was from Minnesota originally … and during the plane ride he told me that if Stiener did not “understand” that the $2000 COULD be released that I should have him call my fake friend and that he would explain to Stiener how to release it to me. Obviously Stiener had no intention of ever giving me what was MY money. Once he got my letter with my fake story, by return mail he sent me a release to sign and in a week the $2000 was in my hand. Looking back on it I suspect he was a weasel in that I and my partner were both in the accident and he handled both of our cases together against the driver. So he got a cut of both of our settlements. Dumb us … Stiener is a fast talking, slick and greasy type and we SHOULD have shopped around. I can understand why his reviews are what they are. The great reviews are probably written his relatives or totally fictional writers. The terrible reviews are for sure real.
  • I wish I could have gave half of a star he actually don’t deserve 1 star not even a half. This attorney lied to me to get me to sign with him. He lied 🤥 about my settlement and he kept my money. I am filing a complaint against him as I type this with the Bar Association and I can’t wait to see him in court 👋🏿 . He did everything I asked him not to do for my case. This attorney caused me nothing but anxiety and depression behind a simple case handed to him. Then he gave me a check that was not good. I couldn’t cash it. Neil is trouble I would not recommend him for anything but retirement
  • This is my 3rd case with Neil. Neil is my first lawyer ever. I’ve found that lawyers need to be left alone when working. If they need anything they will let you know. In the meantime, lawyers are processing your paperwork. This process of paperwork takes time because they’re court paperwork (takes time), insurance paperwork (takes time) and many many forms to fill out and give to numerous companies for authorizations to get information about the incident. Lawyers wait until said companies get back to them and their doing their own back and forth with other companies while trying to keep everything timely. I just give Neil all of my info and sit back and wait 6 to 8 to sometimes 18 months until he tells me he has won my case. I check on him every 6 months with an email and get a quick reply with updated status. But for the most part Neil is like the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Oven: JUST SET IT AND FORGET IT!! Lol Neil is a great lawyer. I hope this helps future clients understand him. Let the man work. He only contacts you to give important info $$$$$$

About Stiener & Libo

Welcome to your local resource for legal representation in Beverly Hills! If you are searching for a personal injury attorney in your neighborhood, Stiener & Libo, located at 433 N Camden Dr suite 730, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, USA, is a local law firm operating within the "Nearby Lawyers" category. The firm has received varied feedback from clients, with experiences highlighting both positive and negative aspects of their services, particularly concerning attorney Neil Steiner.

The office of Stiener & Libo is situated in a professional building in Beverly Hills, a location known for its upscale businesses and services. Clients visiting the office can likely expect a standard professional environment suitable for legal consultations and case management. One positive review mentions a specific instance of receiving Tiffany Chocolate while waiting, suggesting an attempt to provide a comfortable and perhaps even luxurious client experience. However, this anecdote should be considered in the context of the broader spectrum of client experiences.

Based on the available reviews, Stiener & Libo appears to specialize in personal injury law. One client explicitly recommends Mr. Steiner as an "injury attorney" and recounts a positive outcome where their daughter, who was 16 at the time, received a "great settlement" for her injuries. This client emphasizes that Mr. Steiner "fought hard" for their daughter and, based on this experience, highly recommends him and would use his services again for future personal injury needs. This suggests that a core service of the firm is representing individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others, working to secure settlements on their behalf.

However, another review presents a significantly different perspective on the services provided by Neil Steiner. This client expresses regret for having their personal injury case handled by him, alleging that they were "ripped off." The review details a specific instance involving a leftover $2000 from a medical examination fee that was purportedly held "in trust" but was not released to the client despite repeated requests over a couple of years. The client, who had moved to El Paso, Texas, eventually resorted to fabricating a story about meeting the Head of the California Bar to prompt the release of the funds. According to this review, the money was only sent after this fabricated interaction was mentioned in a letter to Mr. Steiner, leading the client to suspect that Mr. Steiner had no intention of returning what they believed was rightfully theirs.

This negative review also raises concerns about a potential conflict of interest, as the client mentions that Mr. Steiner handled both their case and their partner's case together against the same driver, implying that the firm received a percentage of both settlements. The client, in hindsight, advises others to "shop around" for legal representation and describes Mr. Steiner as "fast talking, slick and greasy." The reviewer suggests that the positive reviews might be inauthentic, possibly written by relatives or fictional writers, while asserting that the negative reviews are "for sure real."

Considering these contrasting experiences, it is challenging to definitively state the consistent features and services of Stiener & Libo. However, based on the available information, we can note the following:

  • Specialization in Personal Injury: The firm is identified as an "injury attorney" by one reviewer, indicating that personal injury cases are a primary focus.
  • Potential for Strong Advocacy: The positive review highlights Mr. Steiner's willingness to "fight hard" for his client, suggesting that in some cases, the firm provides robust representation.
  • Concerns Regarding Billing and Client Trust: The negative review raises serious allegations about financial dealings and the handling of client funds, suggesting potential issues with transparency and trustworthiness in some instances.
  • Varied Client Experiences: The stark contrast between the two reviews indicates that clients may have significantly different experiences with the firm.

Given the conflicting nature of the feedback, providing objective promotional information is difficult. However, we can consider what a personal injury law firm typically aims to offer:

  • Representation for Injury Victims: Assisting individuals who have been injured due to accidents, negligence, or wrongdoing.
  • Seeking Compensation for Damages: Working to recover financial compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other losses.
  • Negotiation with Insurance Companies: Handling communication and negotiation with insurance providers to reach fair settlements.
  • Litigation When Necessary: Filing lawsuits and representing clients in court if a fair settlement cannot be reached.
  • Contingency Fee Arrangements: Often working on a contingency fee basis, meaning the client only pays a fee if the firm successfully recovers compensation.

Important Considerations for Local Users:

As a local user considering Stiener & Libo for your personal injury needs, it is crucial to weigh the available information carefully. The positive review suggests that some clients have had successful outcomes and felt well-represented. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about billing practices, the handling of client funds, and overall trustworthiness. The stark contrast between these two experiences underscores the importance of conducting thorough due diligence when selecting legal representation.

If you are considering Stiener & Libo, it would be prudent to:

  • Seek Additional Reviews: Look for more reviews from other clients to gain a broader understanding of the firm's reputation and client experiences.
  • Request Detailed Information: During a consultation, ask detailed questions about the firm's fees, billing practices, and how client funds are handled.
  • Inquire About Potential Conflicts of Interest: If your case involves multiple parties, ensure that the firm has a clear process for identifying and addressing any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Trust Your Gut Feeling: Choose a lawyer and a law firm with whom you feel comfortable and confident. Clear communication and trust are essential in the attorney-client relationship.

In conclusion, Stiener & Libo, located in Beverly Hills and listed under "Nearby Lawyers," specializes in personal injury law. While one client reports a positive experience with attorney Neil Steiner securing a settlement, another client recounts significant issues with billing and the handling of funds. This conflicting feedback highlights the importance for potential clients to conduct thorough research and due diligence before engaging their services. Contacting Stiener & Libo at (310) 273-7778 or +1 310-273-7778 for a consultation and asking detailed questions about their practices is a crucial step in making an informed decision about your legal representation.
