Steven P. Barsamian Introduce
For individuals and families navigating the often intricate and emotionally charged landscape of U.S. immigration law, finding a knowledgeable and effective legal advocate is essential. Within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Steven P. Barsamian presents himself as an immigration attorney serving clients from his office at 1 Belmont Ave SUITE 314, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, USA. His practice is dedicated to assisting clients with various immigration-related matters.
The environment of Steven P. Barsamian's office, situated at 1 Belmont Ave SUITE 314 in Bala Cynwyd, suggests a professional and structured setting. Belmont Avenue is a prominent location, often indicative of commercial office buildings designed to accommodate legal and professional services. An office within a suite in such a building typically provides a formal and private space for client consultations, which is particularly important given the sensitive nature of immigration cases. While specific details about the interior design or ambiance are not explicitly provided, law offices in these types of locations generally aim to create a welcoming yet efficient environment. The accessibility of the location, often with convenient parking and proximity to major transportation routes, contributes to a more accessible experience for clients, many of whom may be traveling from various parts of the region.
Steven P. Barsamian's legal services are primarily focused on U.S. immigration law. This broad field encompasses a multitude of legal processes and applications for individuals seeking to live, work, or gain citizenship in the United States. While specific details about the full range of his services are not explicitly provided, a typical immigration law practice would handle areas such as family-based immigration (e.g., petitions for relatives, adjustment of status, green cards), employment-based immigration (e.g., various visa categories for skilled workers, investors), naturalization and citizenship applications, and potentially deportation defense. The case mentioned in the provided client review, involving an I-130 and I-485 application for an individual who entered the U.S. illegally, points to his engagement with complex adjustment of status cases, which often require careful analysis of eligibility and potential waivers. His work in these areas suggests a focus on helping individuals achieve legal status and maintain their right to remain in the United States.
The features of Steven P. Barsamian's practice, when considering publicly available information and client feedback, present a mixed perspective. One key feature is his specialization in immigration law. This concentrated focus means that he likely possesses a deep understanding of the constantly evolving immigration policies, regulations, and procedures, which is critical for successful outcomes in this complex field. Lawyers who specialize often have more refined expertise and a greater familiarity with the specific challenges and nuances of their chosen area of law. His long-standing operation in Bala Cynwyd also suggests an established practice and a degree of familiarity with the local legal landscape.
However, it is crucial to address the provided client reviews, which offer contrasting views on his professional conduct and service. One review describes a highly negative experience, alleging a "stupid mistake" in filing the incorrect form (I-485 instead of a waiver for an individual who entered illegally), leading to a denial, wasted time, and money. This client also details an alleged "mean" and confrontational demeanor from Mr. Barsamian, including refusing to admit error and accusing the client's email of being "toxic" before withdrawing from the case. This review raises significant concerns about professional judgment, client communication, and overall client care, suggesting a potential lack of empathy and accountability in this specific instance. This type of feedback, if representative, could significantly impact a prospective client's decision, highlighting issues with responsiveness, willingness to admit error, and overall client relationship management.
Conversely, another review provides a strongly positive endorsement, recommending Steven Barsamian as a "good immigration lawyer" who is "very honest and professional in his work" and whose "staff is always there to help you." This client expresses personal gratitude and satisfaction. This contrasting feedback highlights that experiences can vary greatly among clients. The positive review emphasizes professionalism, honesty, and supportive staff, which are highly valued attributes in legal representation. The discrepancy in reviews suggests that while some clients may have a very positive experience, others may encounter difficulties, particularly concerning communication and case strategy.
For local users considering Steven P. Barsamian within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, promotional information would typically focus on his expertise in immigration law and his commitment to helping clients achieve their immigration goals. While specific promotional claims are not provided, a firm in this field would likely highlight its success in obtaining green cards, visas, and citizenship for clients, and its ability to navigate complex immigration challenges. They would aim to convey their thorough understanding of immigration policies and their dedication to each client's unique situation. However, prospective clients would also be advised to consider the conflicting client feedback. The presence of both highly critical and highly complimentary reviews suggests the importance of conducting thorough due diligence, perhaps by scheduling an initial consultation to assess communication style and comfort level before committing to legal representation. Ultimately, the decision to engage Mr. Barsamian would depend on a client's individual priorities and their assessment of his ability to meet their specific immigration needs while maintaining a professional and supportive client relationship.

Mr. Barsamian has been a pleasure to work with. The immigration process is a complicated process, and my wife and I would not have been able to navigate the process on our own. I would recommend Mr. Barsamian's services to anyone who is looking to navigate the immigration process.
