Within this sphere, Randy Stein, an attorney operating from The Benchmark, offers legal services in various practice areas. This introduction provides an objective and detailed overview of Randy Stein's practice, incorporating publicly available information about his location, professional background, and insights gleaned from client reviews, to assist potential clients in making informed decisions.
Randy Stein's office is situated at The Benchmark, 170 Old Country Rd #405, Mineola, NY 11501, USA. This address places his practice in a prominent professional building within Mineola, the county seat of Nassau County. Mineola is a significant legal and commercial hub, making this location convenient for clients seeking legal services within the region. The "Benchmark" is typically indicative of a modern office complex, suggesting a professional and well-maintained environment for legal consultations. Being in Suite 405 implies a structured office setting, offering privacy and a conducive atmosphere for discussing sensitive legal matters.
The environment of a law office, particularly for individual practitioners or small firms, is often designed to foster client comfort and trust. While specific details about the interior of Randy Stein's office are not available, a professional setting within a building like The Benchmark would typically feature a reception area, private consultation rooms, and a general ambiance that conveys competence and reliability. For clients, the physical environment can contribute to their overall perception of the legal service they are receiving, making a comfortable and confidential space important for candid discussions and effective legal counsel.
Regarding services, Randy Stein's practice appears to encompass a range of legal areas. According to publicly available professional directories, Randy M. Stein is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Military Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. His listed practice areas include trusts and estates, commercial law, corporate law, and real estate law. Furthermore, other sources suggest that "The Stein Law Group" (which may be affiliated or another entity involving Randy Stein) handles personal injury, disability, and employment law matters in New York and New Jersey. Given the review regarding estate matters for Dr. Paul Salkin, it confirms his involvement in trusts and estates. This diverse portfolio suggests Randy Stein serves a broad clientele, from individuals requiring assistance with estate planning to businesses needing corporate or commercial legal guidance. Local users in Mineola seeking legal counsel in any of these areas would find Randy Stein a relevant contact. The phone numbers for inquiries are (516) 248-8899 and +1 516-248-8899.
The features of Randy Stein's legal practice, as highlighted by client feedback, present a complex and somewhat contradictory picture. One positive review describes him as a "great lawyer" who is "reasonable and solution minded." This indicates a client who perceived him as effective, practical, and focused on achieving positive outcomes. Attributes like being "solution minded" are highly valued in legal representation, as they suggest an attorney who prioritizes practical resolutions over protracted disputes. This positive feedback would typically be a strong feature emphasized in promotional materials.
However, a lengthy and detailed negative review offers a starkly different perspective. This reviewer recounts an experience representing the estate of a psychiatrist, Dr. Paul Salkin, where Mr. Stein advised his client (Dr. Salkin's son) not to return personal property (artworks) to the reviewer, despite a notarized loan agreement. The reviewer claims Mr. Stein attempted to "sell them back" at an inflated price and imposed unreasonable demands regarding payment and authentication. Furthermore, the most severe accusation is that Mr. Stein advised his client to "destroy all my medical files," which allegedly contained crucial medical information. This action, if true, would raise significant ethical and professional concerns, particularly regarding patient privacy and the destruction of sensitive records. The reviewer expressed feeling that the situation "felt like extortion" and urged others to "reconsider" hiring this attorney, mentioning plans for an article in "Medium magazine" and discussions on "Susan Bender podcast." This detailed negative account highlights potential issues with professional conduct, client (or third-party) communication, and ethical decision-making, which are critical features for any legal professional. The claim of advised destruction of medical files is particularly serious and suggests a profound disregard for professional responsibility and client welfare (even for the third party involved in the estate case).
Promotional information for Randy Stein, therefore, would likely focus on the positive aspects, such as his experience since 1985, his admission to various courts, and his "solution-minded" approach, which aligns with his stated academic background (J.D. from Touro Law School, M.B.A. from Pace University). His professional directory listings might highlight his expertise in specific practice areas. However, for potential clients doing their due diligence within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, the existence of such a detailed and critical review presents a significant challenge to any promotional efforts. The accusations of unprofessional conduct, unethical advice (destroying medical files), and what the reviewer perceived as extortionate behavior could overshadow any positive self-promotion. It is imperative for local users to be aware of such contrasting feedback. When considering engaging Randy Stein, or any attorney with such disparate reviews, prospective clients are strongly advised to conduct thorough interviews, ask specific questions about case management and client communication protocols, and seek clarification on any concerns raised by past client experiences. Contacting Randy Stein directly at (516) 248-8899 or +1 516-248-8899 for an initial consultation would be the first step for those considering his services, allowing them to form their own judgment based on direct interaction and a discussion of their legal needs.

I am surprised that Randy Stein has been selected for this honour. My experience has been very different. The scoop. Randy Stein represented the estate of Dr. Paul Salkin who was my psychiatrist for 8 years. When the Dr. passed Mr Stein represented his son to settle the estate. The problem was that I was in treatment for amnesia and part of my treat was to use the art of Peter G. Pereira as a therapeutic tool. Mr. Salkin on the advice of Mr. Stern decided not to return them to me even with a notarized letter from the doctor himself stating they were on loan. In a series of emails Mr. Stern decided to sell them back to me for $2000.00 each when thet were worth maybe $500.00. He demanded that I send only a bank check. He refused to send me detailed picture to authenticate the paintings. He demanded that at I pay tax and then demanded I pay an enormous amount for shipping. At the end of it all he refused my offer. To me this felt like extortion. Then he advised his client to destroy all my medical files. In those files were medications, dosages, allergic reactions and therapeutic notes. And that means I must start all over again with a new doctor. Unfortunately for Mr. Stein he put all these negotiations in emails to me. So if you are going to hire this attorney I urge you to reconsider. There will be an article posted about my experience in Medium magazine and I have talked about this on the Susan Bender podcast.
I worked with Randy and he's a great lawyer, and he's reasonable and solution minded.
