  • Don't trust this man! He's got a terrible attitude and will use his power to tell others he's a lawyer anywhere!!!
  • Was unable to help my husband at all. Carlos and his associates knew my husband would be deported but still tried to get a few thousand MORE dollars out of us before letting him get deported. My husband had high hopes with this lawyer but hes no better than any other 2 star lawyer.
  • I never had the pleasure of meet Mr Charles Spector, So therefore I do not know how good he is, BUT I am doing a review here because I went into a Maria del Carmen Baltazar de la Cruz Office back in February 2020, right across from USA EMBASSY of CdJuarez and told me she was an attorney partnered with him, she was VERY CLEAR, I was not allow to contact him, because him or his office will not know about me or my case, since he is in El Paso Texas, and she was taking care of my case in CdJuarez Mex. well. I did called his office, and the lady who answer his phone calls seemed NOT to have an idea WHO WAS Maria del Carmen, and she couldn’t get me Mr Charles on the phone. I paid her fees, same month, she never contact me until April, telling me, She was working on my case now... I understood she had many more cases with the same or more importance then mine. But since she was working on my case now, I expected to have the priority on the moment (April) , she send me a COMPLETELY wrong form to be sign by my partner, she couldn’t even get our names right, and the fact that in the same form, she type a wrong info for Mr.Charles Spector, wrong address, wrong phone number. We were not having a fluent communication, I decided to terminated her. So after 2 intents of get my money back, I tried to contact Mr Charles, and believe on his judgement to take care of this matter. Hoping I get an answer of one of my emails, I do not know Mr Spector, but I believe on his capability. Maybe Mr Spector is good. But do not go to Maria del Carmen Baltazar del Cruz office... please!

When considering Spector & Spector, it is important for prospective clients to evaluate various aspects, as highlighted by client feedback.

  • Team Structure and Collaboration: The review mentioning "Carlos and his associates" suggests that the firm operates with multiple legal professionals, potentially indicating a collaborative approach to cases. This can sometimes mean that cases benefit from diverse perspectives and shared knowledge within the firm.

  • Client Outcomes and Expectations: One review indicates dissatisfaction with the outcome, stating they were "unable to help my husband at all" and that the client felt the firm "still tried to get a few thousand MORE dollars out of us before letting him get deported." This highlights the critical importance of clear communication regarding case feasibility and potential outcomes, as well as transparent fee structures. Clients expect honesty about the likelihood of success from the outset.

  • Professional Demeanor: A client described a "terrible attitude" and cautioned, "Don't trust this man!" while another referred to the lawyer as "no better than any other 2 star lawyer." These comments point to concerns about professional conduct and client relations. In legal representation, trust and a professional demeanor are paramount for effective communication and a positive client experience.

  • Communication and Transparency: The feedback concerning being charged "a few thousand MORE dollars" despite knowing the outcome of deportation, without explicitly stating if this was for ongoing work or a new development, suggests potential issues with transparent communication regarding fees and case progression. Clients value clear and upfront information about costs and the realistic prognosis of their case.

  • Managing Client Hopes: The statement that "My husband had high hopes with this lawyer" underscores the attorney's role in setting realistic expectations and providing a clear understanding of the legal process and its potential challenges. Managing client hopes effectively is crucial in sensitive legal matters.
