The single available review raises significant concerns regarding the features and client service of Sokolich Family Law. The reviewer states that they paid a retainer of $5000 for assistance with a divorce but alleges that "nothing was ever done" over a period of two years. The review further claims a lack of communication from the attorney, Pat (presumably Patricia Sokolich, though this is not explicitly stated in the review), and an alleged dismissal of subsequent inquiries, with a suggestion to seek a free lawyer from the court. The reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction, labeling the experience as "terrible" and suggesting the attorney should be "banned from practicing law."

It is crucial to acknowledge that this is a single review and may not represent the experience of all clients. However, such serious allegations regarding a lack of service and communication should prompt potential clients to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging Sokolich Family Law.

Given the nature of the available feedback, it is challenging to identify positive promotional aspects. The single review serves more as a cautionary note than a positive endorsement. Any potential promotional aspects would need to be based on information not currently available in the provided text, such as the attorney's qualifications, years of experience, or a mission statement emphasizing client commitment. Without such information, it is not possible to objectively present promotional points.

Potential clients might consider the following questions when evaluating Sokolich Family Law:

  • What is the attorney's experience in handling cases similar to mine?
  • What is the firm's communication policy with clients? How frequently can I expect updates on my case?
  • What is the process for billing and accounting for the retainer fee?
  • Can I speak with other past clients to get a broader perspective on their experiences?
  • What are the attorney's qualifications and professional standing within the legal community?

It is always advisable to seek information from multiple sources and potentially consult with more than one attorney before making a decision about legal representation, especially in sensitive areas like family law.

For individuals in the Garden City, NY area seeking assistance with divorce or other family law matters, Sokolich Family Law is one of the options available at 666 Old Country Rd #900. The provided information underscores the importance of careful evaluation when choosing legal representation to ensure that your needs are met with professionalism and diligence. Contacting the office at (516) 222-0572 or +1 516-222-0572 for an initial consultation and asking detailed questions about their services and client communication practices would be a prudent step for any prospective client.

Terrible I gave Pat my retainer to help me with my divorce and nothing was ever done. Two years has past and she never communicates took $5000 as a retainer, never helped me and when I contacted her about other matters she blew me off told me to get a free lawyer from the court. She should be banned from practicing law.
