The concept of "Nearby Lawyers" platforms is designed to connect local users with legal professionals who can provide assistance with a variety of legal needs. These platforms often list attorneys based on their geographical proximity to the user, making it convenient to find someone within your community. Sheppard William's presence in this category suggests he offers legal services to the residents and businesses in the Tucker area.

While the initial listing provides contact information and an address, gaining a deeper understanding of a lawyer's environment, services, and features requires exploring available information from various sources. This often includes online reviews and any publicly available details about their practice areas.

In the case of Sheppard William, some individuals who identify themselves as past clients have shared their experiences online. It's important to consider these accounts when evaluating potential legal representation. One review, dated from the past, recounts an experience dating back to 1981 involving a racial discrimination case against Atlanta Gas Light Company. The reviewer states they received a Right to Sue Letter from the EEOC and subsequently won the case. According to this review, the individual paid Mr. William an initial fee of $500.00 to handle the case, which was reportedly resolved in 1984 after three years. However, the reviewer alleges that Mr. William settled the case without their direct knowledge or disclosure of the settlement and that he retained all the settlement funds. The reviewer further states they learned about their eligibility to reapply for their former position through another source, indicating their record had been cleared. This review expresses significant dissatisfaction and accuses the attorney of taking advantage of them.

Another review presents a highly critical assessment of Sheppard William's professional conduct. This reviewer describes the lawyer as "very forgetful, irresponsible, unorganized, unprofessional, hypocritical, deceiving, and unethical." They further suggest that he should not hold a law license and accuse him of lying under oath in animosity towards a client. This review claims that Mr. William is unresponsive after receiving payment and discourages others from recommending him, implying it is time for him to retire.

These reviews paint a concerning picture of past client experiences. It is essential for potential clients to carefully consider this feedback alongside any other information they may find. While online reviews represent individual experiences and may not be universally representative, they can offer valuable insights into potential aspects of a lawyer's practice and client communication.

Given the nature of the feedback available in these specific reviews, it is challenging to objectively describe the positive features or environment of Sheppard William's practice based solely on this information. The reviews highlight significant issues related to communication, transparency, and professional conduct, according to the individuals who posted them.

Typically, when introducing a lawyer in the "Nearby Lawyers" category, one might discuss their areas of specialization (e.g., family law, real estate law, criminal defense), their experience, their approach to client communication, the environment of their office (e.g., welcoming, professional), and any unique features of their practice. However, the provided reviews do not offer information that would allow for a positive portrayal of these aspects in this case. Instead, they raise serious allegations that potential clients should be aware of.

It is important to note that this introduction is based on the information provided, which includes critical reviews from individuals claiming to be past clients. No additional information or promotional material has been provided to offer a balanced perspective. Therefore, this introduction primarily serves to present the available information, including the negative feedback, as part of an objective overview for local users considering Sheppard William for their legal needs.

As a user of the "Nearby Lawyers" platform, it is advisable to conduct thorough due diligence when selecting a legal representative. This may involve:

  • Reviewing all available online feedback from multiple sources.
  • Checking the lawyer's standing with the relevant state bar association.
  • Seeking referrals from trusted sources.
  • Scheduling initial consultations with multiple attorneys to discuss your specific legal needs and assess their communication style and approach.
  • Asking for references from past clients.

The decision of whom to hire as your lawyer is a significant one that should be made with careful consideration of all available information. The feedback presented in the provided reviews regarding Sheppard William raises serious concerns that potential clients should not ignore. It underscores the importance of thorough research and due diligence when selecting legal counsel from any listing in the "Nearby Lawyers" category.

In conclusion, while Sheppard William is listed as a "Nearby Lawyer" in Tucker, GA, the available reviews from individuals claiming to be past clients contain serious allegations of misconduct, including lack of communication, unethical behavior, and financial mismanagement. Potential clients are strongly advised to consider this information carefully and conduct thorough research before making a decision regarding legal representation.

Hello I would advised all never to use this lawyer. In 1981 I was fired from Atlanta Gas Light Company because of racial discrimination. I rcvd a Right to Sue Letter from EEOC to Sue the Atlanta Gas Light Company, I won. Initially I paid this Atty William Sheppard $500.00 to take my case it was solved in 1984 three (3) years of waiting I got nothing. Atty Sheppard solved my case behind my back took all of my monies never once did he disclosed the settlement. I found out through my girlfriend who worked in Human Resource doing that time that I was eligible to reapply and come back because my record had been cleared. This attorney took advantage of me. I pray Atty Sheppard will give to me what is rightfully mind. Thank you.

This lawyer is very forgetful, irresponsible, unorganized, unprofessional, hypocritical, deceiving, and unethical. He should not be able to hold a license as a lawyer. He has lied under oath in animosity towards his client. He doesn’t want to work with you; he rather take your money and ignore your phone calls, etc. It’s very hard to reach out to him once he receives his payment(s). I would not recommend this lawyer! It’s about time for him to retire!!!
