This specialized firm focuses on providing comprehensive legal assistance tailored to the unique needs of seniors and their loved ones, offering services that range from Medicaid planning and special needs advocacy to estate planning and long-term care considerations.

Located at 2987 Corporate Ct #200, Orefield, PA 18069, USA, Schoffstall Elder Law offers a professional and accessible environment for clients seeking guidance on often sensitive and critical legal matters. The firm's physical location in Orefield provides a convenient point of contact for local residents, ensuring that personalized legal counsel is within reach. While specific details about the interior design or ambiance of the office are not publicly available, legal offices typically aim to create a welcoming and confidential space where clients can feel comfortable discussing their legal concerns. This usually includes private meeting rooms for consultations, a professional reception area, and an organized setting conducive to focused legal work. The address suggests a corporate court setting, which often implies a well-maintained and professional business park environment, reflecting a serious approach to legal practice.

The core services offered by Schoffstall Elder Law are centered around elder law, a broad legal discipline that addresses the legal issues affecting older adults. This includes, but is not limited to: Medicaid planning, which is crucial for individuals needing long-term care and seeking assistance with the significant costs involved; special needs planning, vital for families with members who have disabilities and require specific arrangements for their financial security and well-being; estate planning, encompassing wills, trusts, and powers of attorney to ensure assets are distributed according to an individual's wishes and to establish legal authority for decision-making; and guardianship issues, which involve legal oversight for individuals unable to make decisions for themselves. The firm's specialization in these areas means they possess in-depth knowledge of the intricate laws and regulations governing elder care, providing clients with expert advice and representation.

One of the key features of a specialized elder law firm like Schoffstall Elder Law is their focused expertise. Unlike general practice attorneys, elder law specialists dedicate their practice to understanding the evolving landscape of laws affecting seniors. This includes staying updated on changes to Medicaid rules, tax laws related to estates, and regulations concerning special needs trusts. This specialized knowledge allows them to anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop strategies to protect clients' assets, ensure access to necessary care, and preserve their autonomy. The firm’s approach likely involves a thorough assessment of each client’s individual circumstances, followed by the development of a tailored legal strategy designed to achieve their specific goals.

Client experiences, as reflected in available reviews, offer valuable insights into the firm's service delivery. One review highlights a potential area for improvement in communication, stating, "Don’t expect them to call you back. I completed the online intake and was able to provide a lot of detail. I called twice to follow up. Our family is well versed in who to use for legal advice. We thought it would be easier to deal with an attorney in Lehigh County as that is where my aunt is and I am her POA. Go elsewhere." This feedback suggests that some clients may experience delays in receiving responses, which can be a point of frustration, particularly when dealing with urgent legal matters. Effective and timely communication is paramount in legal services, as clients often rely on their attorneys for updates and guidance.

However, another review offers a stark contrast and provides a strong endorsement of the firm's effectiveness, particularly in handling complex cases. This client shares a highly positive experience regarding Medicaid application for a special needs cousin: "I have been trying to get my special needs cousin on Medicaid for 7 months. I had a zoom meeting with Sally Schoffstall on the afternoon of Jan. 21. On Jan. 25 I received an e-mail from her stating she is now on Medicaid and I will be receiving a confirmation letter soon! Literally 4 days! And 2 of those days were weekend days! She is amazing! I would use her services again in a heartbeat! BEST ATTORNEY EVER!" This testimonial speaks volumes about the firm's capability to deliver rapid and favorable outcomes, especially in critical situations like Medicaid approval. The speed and efficiency demonstrated in this instance, despite the prior seven-month struggle, underscore the firm's deep understanding of the Medicaid system and their ability to navigate its complexities effectively. This type of success story is highly appealing for potential clients facing similar challenges, emphasizing the value of expert legal intervention.

Promotional information for Schoffstall Elder Law would naturally highlight their expertise in elder law, particularly their proven success in navigating the Medicaid application process and assisting with special needs planning. Potential clients are often seeking solutions to reduce the financial burden of long-term care and ensure their loved ones receive the necessary support. The positive review regarding the swift Medicaid approval serves as a powerful testament to the firm's capabilities and could be a central point in their promotional messaging. Emphasizing the firm's local presence in Orefield, PA, and their commitment to serving the Lehigh County community would also resonate with local users seeking convenient and trustworthy legal assistance.
