This introduction focuses on Sam Benevento Bankruptcy Attorney, a local legal service provider listed within this category.

Sam Benevento Bankruptcy Attorney operates from their office located at 4401 Atlantic Ave #243, Long Beach, CA 90807, USA. This physical presence indicates a commitment to serving the local community. Having a readily accessible office can be important for individuals seeking in-person consultations and a local point of contact throughout their legal proceedings. The office environment itself is not described in the provided information, so potential clients may want to inquire about the consultation setting when they reach out.

As the name suggests, the core service offered by Sam Benevento is in the area of bankruptcy law. Bankruptcy is a legal process that can provide debt relief to individuals and businesses struggling with overwhelming debt. It's a complex area of law with different chapters, each designed for specific financial situations. A bankruptcy attorney like Sam Benevento can guide clients through these complexities, helping them understand their rights and options under the United States Bankruptcy Code. This includes assessing whether Chapter 7 bankruptcy (liquidation) or Chapter 13 bankruptcy (reorganization) is the more suitable path, assisting with the preparation and filing of necessary legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings and meetings with creditors.

The services likely extend beyond just filing paperwork. A competent bankruptcy attorney will typically offer consultations to evaluate a client's financial situation, explain the potential benefits and drawbacks of bankruptcy, and discuss alternatives if bankruptcy is not the most appropriate solution. They can also advise on matters related to asset protection within the legal limits of bankruptcy law and help clients understand the impact of bankruptcy on their credit report and future financial opportunities. Furthermore, they act as a legal shield, communicating with creditors on behalf of their clients, which can alleviate the stress of direct and often persistent contact from debt collectors.

Features of working with a local bankruptcy attorney like Sam Benevento often include personalized attention and a deeper understanding of the local legal landscape. While the specific features offered by this particular attorney are not detailed, potential clients can likely expect standard services such as case evaluation, legal counsel, document preparation, court representation, and communication with creditors. It's advisable to inquire directly about the specific services and the attorney's approach to client communication and case management during an initial consultation.

It's important to consider all available information when choosing a legal representative. The provided reviews offer a glimpse into past client experiences. One review describes "great service and very helpful," suggesting a positive experience for at least one client. This indicates the potential for satisfactory legal assistance. However, another review raises concerns about a "free" consultation not being entirely free and describes an unprofessional interaction. This feedback highlights the importance of clear communication and understanding the attorney's consultation fees and policies upfront. Potential clients should feel comfortable discussing these aspects before committing to any legal services.

When seeking a bankruptcy attorney through the "Nearby Lawyers" platform, users are likely looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and communicative. The contrasting reviews for Sam Benevento Bankruptcy Attorney underscore the need for thorough due diligence. While one client reported a positive experience, the other's account of an unprofessional encounter and unexpected consultation fees is a serious point of consideration. It's recommended that prospective clients reach out to the firm directly to clarify their consultation process, fee structure, and overall approach to client service. Asking specific questions about their experience with cases similar to yours and requesting references can also be beneficial in making an informed decision.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given data. However, the listing on the "Nearby Lawyers" platform itself serves as a form of promotion, making the attorney's services visible to local users actively seeking legal help in bankruptcy matters. To gain a better understanding of any specific promotions or unique selling points, interested individuals would need to contact Sam Benevento Bankruptcy Attorney directly. They might inquire about initial consultation fees (despite the conflicting review), payment plans, or any specific areas of bankruptcy law where they have particular expertise.

In conclusion, Sam Benevento Bankruptcy Attorney, located in Long Beach, CA, offers legal services in the field of bankruptcy law to the local community. While one customer review praises their helpful service, another raises concerns about consultation fees and professionalism. For local users navigating the "Nearby Lawyers" platform in search of bankruptcy assistance, it is crucial to consider all available feedback and to directly engage with the attorney's office to clarify their service offerings, fees, and client communication practices. This proactive approach will help ensure a clear understanding and a comfortable working relationship should they choose to proceed with Sam Benevento Bankruptcy Attorney.

Called Sam for what was described as a "free" consultation. Within five minutes of speaking, he told me if it was truly a free consultation, he would go out of business himself. Then he hung up on me. Ridiculously unprofessional. Make sure to bring money with you to pay for your "free" consultation.
