Based on available online reviews, client experiences with R. Robert Clothier, P.C., appear to be varied. One client recounts a positive experience during a "very difficult divorce." This individual had previously hired another attorney and faced complications, including a problematic protection order hearing. Seeking a second opinion and new representation, they turned to Bob Clothier based on strong recommendations. The client expressed being impressed by Mr. Clothier's frankness and honesty during their initial meeting. Facing the potential need to sell significant assets, including a house and business, to reach a settlement, the client credited Mr. Clothier with helping them approach the divorce as a business transaction, thereby facilitating logical and fair arguments. The support of Mr. Clothier and a team member named Michelle was also highlighted, as they guided the client through the process and explored various options. Ultimately, this client reported achieving a fair custody agreement and being able to retain their house and business, strongly recommending Bob and Michelle to others facing similar situations.

However, another review presents a starkly contrasting perspective. This client strongly advises against hiring Mr. Clothier and his team, labeling them as "horrifically incompetent." Specific grievances include an alleged $100,000 mathematical error concerning the value of the client's house, which they claim to have caught during mediation. Furthermore, this reviewer raises concerns about billing practices, suggesting a lack of accurate tracking and instances of being billed repeatedly for the same documents. Organizational issues were also cited, with the client alleging that Mr. Clothier forgot that the reviewer was the one who had filed for divorce. This feedback paints a picture of potential disorganization and significant errors.

Considering these contrasting accounts, it is important for potential clients to weigh both positive and negative feedback when evaluating R. Robert Clothier, P.C. The positive review emphasizes Mr. Clothier's ability to provide strategic guidance, emotional support, and achieve favorable outcomes in a complex divorce case. The mention of frankness and honesty may be perceived as valuable traits in an attorney-client relationship. The negative review, however, raises serious concerns about the firm's competence in areas such as financial accuracy, billing transparency, and basic case management.

As a local law firm listed under "Nearby Lawyers," R. Robert Clothier, P.C., is positioned to serve the legal needs of the Colorado Springs community. The services offered likely encompass various aspects of family law, given the context of the reviews discussing divorce and custody agreements. While the specifics of all services provided are not detailed in the provided information, it is reasonable to infer that the firm handles divorce proceedings, child custody matters, property division, and potentially other related family law issues.

In terms of features, the positive review highlights Mr. Clothier's strategic thinking, ability to de-escalate emotional aspects of divorce, and the supportive role of his team. The negative review, conversely, points to potential weaknesses in organizational processes, attention to detail (particularly regarding financial matters), and billing practices. It is crucial for prospective clients to consider these differing perspectives when assessing the firm's capabilities.

Promotional information is somewhat implicit in the positive review, which serves as a testimonial to the firm's effectiveness in a challenging divorce scenario. The client's statement that their situation would have been "10 times harder without them" serves as a strong endorsement. However, the negative review acts as a cautionary note, suggesting potential pitfalls in engaging the firm's services. Therefore, any promotional aspect derived from the positive feedback must be balanced against the serious allegations made in the negative review.

In conclusion, R. Robert Clothier, P.C., located in Colorado Springs, offers legal services in family law, as indicated by the client reviews focusing on divorce and custody. While one client reported a positive experience marked by strategic guidance and support, another client expressed significant dissatisfaction with the firm's competence, citing concerns about mathematical errors, billing inaccuracies, and organizational issues. For local users seeking a "Nearby Lawyer" for family law matters, it is advisable to carefully consider these contrasting experiences and potentially conduct further due diligence before making a decision on legal representation. Contacting the firm directly at (719) 579-6565 or +1 719-579-6565 may provide an opportunity to discuss individual legal needs and address any concerns based on the available feedback.

I had a very difficult divorce. I hired another attorney first and her firm screwed up a protection order hearing so bad I knew I needed help. Bob came very highly recommended and now I see why. I met with him and was impressed by how frank and honest he was. My situation meant there was a good chance I would have to sell my house and business to be able to come to a settlement agreement. Bob helped me take the emotion out of the process and treat it as a business transaction, which is really what divorce is, and make logical and fair arguments to begin making progress. He and Michelle help my hand through the process and made sure to explore all the options. We came to a fair custody agreement for my kids and ex. In the end, I was able to keep my house and my business and begin my new life. I recommend Bob and Michelle to anyone who has to go through this, it will be 10 times harder without them. Thank you so much to the Robert Clothier law firm!

They are very personable so I thought I was in good hands however Mr. Clothier and his team are just horrificaly incompetent. - They made a 100k dollar mathmatical error that I caught at mediation on the value of my house. -The billing is not tracked accuratley at all so realy document everything. They will ask for documents several times and then bill you every time. - The unorganization is awful, Mr. Clothier literaly forgot I was the one who Filed for divorce.

I whole heartedly disagree with the review below. . Mr. Clothier was nothing but professional both in and out of the courtroom. He worked with me diligently to get me through a rather messy custody hearing. I can't say I'm surprised with Ms. Peters assessment since she is my ex-husband's new wife.

I would not recommend Robert Clothier as an attorney. He was dishonest, unprofessional, and not well-spoken during the hearing. He repeatedly started a sentence, stopped, tried to rephrase and then would finally finish his thought, coming across as very unpolished. He also could not keep a straight face during some of his questioning. He has the typical stereotype personality of an arrogant attorney.
