Pine & Pine LLP Introduce
Welcome to the platform for Nearby Lawyers! For residents and individuals in West Chester, Pennsylvania, seeking legal representation, Pine & Pine LLP is located at 104 S Church St 2nd Floor. As a local law firm, they are part of the legal service providers available in the community. However, it is crucial for potential clients to be aware of all available information, including client feedback, when considering legal counsel. In the case of Pine & Pine LLP, the limited reviews available online present significant concerns that warrant careful consideration.
One deeply troubling review recounts a profoundly negative experience dating back to May 2015. The reviewer alleges that Pine & Pine LLP was instrumental in having their mother's attorney sign an order that resulted in her placement in Pocopson Home without a hearing, which the reviewer claims was a violation of the Older Adult Protective Service Act. The reviewer further states that, as a consequence of Pine & Pine LLP's actions, their mother was allegedly "locked up and isolated" and subsequently died, in their opinion, due to "injuries, neglect, and isolation." The reviewer also expresses frustration that the person who allegedly harmed their mother remained free. This review presents a serious accusation of legal mishandling with severe personal consequences for the reviewer and their family.
The Older Adult Protective Service Act in Pennsylvania is designed to protect older adults from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment. It outlines procedures for investigation, intervention, and the provision of protective services when an older adult is deemed to be in need. The allegation of circumventing a required hearing under this Act is a grave matter that raises significant questions about due process and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
Another, more recent, and considerably more concise review simply states, "Pine and Pine, a law firm in Decline!" While lacking specific details, this comment suggests a negative perception of the firm's current standing or trajectory among at least one former client or observer.
Given the gravity of the allegations in the first review, it is impossible to provide a standard introduction to Pine & Pine LLP without acknowledging these serious concerns. The information available online does not offer any counter-narrative or positive feedback to balance these negative accounts. Therefore, any potential client must approach this firm with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence.
Regarding the environment of Pine & Pine LLP, located on the 2nd floor of a building at 104 S Church St in West Chester, we can infer a professional office setting typical of a law firm. West Chester is a well-established borough with a mix of commercial and residential properties, and the presence of a law firm on Church Street suggests a location within the town's business district. However, without any descriptive information or images available online, it is impossible to comment on the specific ambiance or facilities of the office.
Due to the complete absence of information regarding the specific legal services offered by Pine & Pine LLP in the available reviews, we can only speculate on the areas of law they might practice. Typically, a law firm could handle a variety of legal matters, such as:
- Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney)
- Real Estate Law
- Business Law
- Family Law (Divorce, Custody)
- Personal Injury Law
- Civil Litigation
- Elder Law
However, in the case of Pine & Pine LLP, the serious allegation involving the Older Adult Protective Service Act suggests that they may have been involved in matters concerning elder law or adult protective services, albeit with a highly negative outcome according to the review.
In terms of features, we cannot glean any positive attributes or unique selling points from the available reviews. The first review highlights a deeply concerning alleged failure to adhere to legal requirements designed to protect vulnerable adults, while the second suggests a firm in decline. These pieces of feedback do not offer any basis for identifying positive features that would typically attract clients.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available for Pine & Pine LLP in the provided data. The existing reviews serve as significant deterrents rather than endorsements. In the absence of any positive feedback or marketing messages, potential clients have no basis to assess any promotional aspects of the firm.
For local users in West Chester seeking legal representation, it is imperative to approach Pine & Pine LLP with extreme caution given the serious allegations and negative sentiment expressed in the available online reviews. The accusation related to the Older Adult Protective Service Act is particularly concerning and should prompt any potential client to seek detailed explanations and potentially consult with other legal professionals before considering engaging their services. The lack of any positive reviews or information to counter these negative accounts further underscores the need for thorough due diligence.
Before contacting Pine & Pine LLP at (610) 344-7100 or +1 610-344-7100, potential clients should strongly consider seeking information from other sources, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association or other legal directories, to gain a broader understanding of the firm's reputation and any disciplinary actions or complaints that may have been filed. It would also be advisable to consult with multiple law firms in the West Chester area to compare services, expertise, and client feedback before making a decision on legal representation.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Pine & Pine LLP present significant concerns, including a serious allegation of mishandling a case involving the Older Adult Protective Service Act and a general sentiment of decline. Local users in West Chester seeking legal services should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent research before considering this firm. The absence of any positive feedback necessitates a very careful and informed approach to any potential engagement with Pine & Pine LLP.

In May of 2015 Pine had my mother's attorney sign an order to take her and put her in Pocopson home without any hearing as required by the Older adult protective service act. Because of Pine my mother has been locked up and isolated since and the person who punched my mom still runs around free. My mother died in my opinion as a result of injuries, neglect and isolation.
