As the name suggests, Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys specializes in a range of personal injury cases. This typically includes, but is not limited to, motor vehicle accidents (such as car, truck, and motorcycle accidents), slip and fall incidents (premises liability), medical malpractice, construction accidents, workplace injuries (to the extent they fall outside of workers' compensation or involve third-party liability), wrongful death claims, and cases involving defective products. Personal injury law is designed to protect the rights of those who have been harmed due to the carelessness or intentional actions of another party. Attorneys in this field work to help their clients recover compensation for their injuries, including medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other related damages.

The name "Philly Injury Lawyer" itself serves as a clear indicator of the firm's specialization and their focus on serving the residents of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. This targeted branding suggests a deep understanding of the local legal landscape and a commitment to the community. While specific features and promotional information for "Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys" are not readily available in the provided data, we can infer some common attributes of personal injury law firms. These often include a contingency fee arrangement, meaning clients typically do not pay any upfront legal fees, and the firm only receives a percentage of the settlement or award if they successfully recover compensation for the client. Many personal injury firms also offer free initial consultations to allow potential clients to discuss their case and understand their legal options without any obligation.

The provided customer reviews offer a mixed perspective on the services associated with the listed address. One lengthy review, seemingly carried over from 2017 and referencing the "lawfirm of Joel Kofsky," details a significantly negative experience. The reviewer cites extreme lack of and ineffective communication, delays in handling the case (such as failing to obtain a police report or witness statements in a timely manner), requests for the client to perform tasks that the firm was hired to do, and a prolonged period to receive the settlement check even after the insurance company quickly reached its policy limit. While a fee reduction was granted, the reviewer's overall experience was described as "awful," leading to a strong recommendation against hiring the firm. It is important to note that this review specifically mentions "Joel Kofsky" and may not directly reflect the current practices or personnel under the name "Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys," even if operating from the same address. Law firms can undergo changes in name, management, and staff over time.

The second, much briefer review praises "The Johnson law firm" and specifically recommends "Chris" for assistance with custody and family matters, highlighting feelings of "relief & peace." This review appears unrelated to a personal injury case and mentions a different law firm name, suggesting that multiple legal practices might operate from or have operated from the same address at different times or that the reviewer may have mistakenly associated their experience. Therefore, this positive feedback regarding family law services should be considered separately from the negative experience detailed in the first review concerning a personal injury case handled by the "Kofsky lawfirm."

Given the information, local users in Philadelphia seeking legal representation for personal injury matters should be aware of the detailed negative review concerning the handling of a car accident case by the "Kofsky lawfirm" at this address. While "Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys" is the current name provided, potential clients may want to inquire about the firm's history, its attorneys' experience in handling cases similar to theirs, and their communication practices during an initial consultation. It is crucial to have a clear understanding of how the firm operates and what to expect in terms of communication and case management.

For those who have suffered injuries in accidents, due to medical negligence, or other incidents caused by someone else's fault, Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys, located at 1500 John F Kennedy Blvd #550, can be contacted at (215) 735-4800 or +1 215-735-4800 to discuss their potential case. It is recommended that prospective clients come prepared with details about their accident, injuries, and any relevant documentation to facilitate a productive initial consultation. During this consultation, it would be prudent to ask about the firm's approach to communication, their experience with similar cases, and their fee structure to ensure a comfortable and informed decision about legal representation.

In conclusion, Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys, operating from John F Kennedy Boulevard in Philadelphia, focuses on representing individuals in personal injury claims. While a past negative review associated with a different firm name at the same address raises concerns about client communication and case handling, it is essential for potential clients to conduct their own due diligence and have a thorough discussion with the current firm to understand their services and approach. The firm's specialization in personal injury law suggests they are equipped to assist those injured due to negligence, and contacting them directly is the best way to determine if they are the right legal partners for your specific situation.

My prior review from 2017 seems to somehow been deleted-copying it here. When you have just been in an auto accident that was not your fault and which has caused significant physical injuries, the last thing you need and want is more stress added to your life. Instead, your biggest priority should be to focus on your health and healing. When I decided to hire the lawfirm of Joel Kofsky to represent me, I made the wrong decision which I regret. I want to say right away that I strongly do not recommend choosing them to represent you. My accident was a very clear-cut case, one that many lawyers I am sure dream about. The other driver admitted fault, I had substantial injuries, my car was totaled, I had witnesses to the accident; this is a case that SHOULD have moved along smoothly and in an extremely timely manner. This was not what happened with the Kofsky lawfirm representing me. I did my due diligence to research lawyers and from my initial consultation with Joel, I thought I was going to be in good hands. He took my call on a Sunday while he was at home and I thought this was a good sign. Unfortunately, my experience with this lawfirm was largely defined by an extreme lack of and ineffective communication when they did return my calls. It was months until I even figured out which lawyer was assigned and I only figured out this information because I called to ask them. To be clear, during the year that followed my accident, only once did they call me first without me requesting that they call me. I called every few months to check in because every step of the way I was completely in the dark. I know that my case moved slowly, not because the process was slow, but because the lawfirm was extremely slow in its dealings with my case. To put this into perspective, at one year after my accident, the lawfirm had still failed to request a copy of the accident police report, they had not contacted any of the accident witnesses, had not retrieved loss of wages documentation, they had not given me a copy of my contract with them, and they still had not retrieved medical records from 47 of my appointments even after multiple conversations reminding them to do so. As if all of this was not enough, right before this one year mark they asked me to do work on my case even though they were going to get paid more than enough when my case was settled. The tough position I was in, however, is that while I knew I could say no to doing work I was paying them to do, I did not trust them to do the work. I had attended over 100 appointments in a year’s time as a result of the accident. They asked me to submit to them all of the receipts, paperwork, and appt dates, info. I was paying them to gather especially since I informed them by email every time I saw a new physician. It is no surprise that I never received responses to these emails and then was asked to provide this information at other times as if I had never provided it before. To put my case into further perspective--my now boyfriend was in an accident a year after me and he had pre-existing conditions. I had no pre-existing conditions at the time of my accident and (coincidentally) we received our settlement checks the same week. His lawyer called him at every turn and communicated very clearly; this was not the case with the Kofsky law firm and my case. Even though in my case the other insurance settled very quickly (within weeks after we said we were going to sue them) and although we immediately reached their policy limit, it took a total of four months after I agreed to accept the settlement to get the check in my hand. It took less than one month for my boyfriend to receive his settlement check after settling. Although Mr. Kofsky did grant me a fee reduction, in my opinion it was the least he could do for the awful experience. Even when I expressed concerns, things never really changed with how they handled my case and how I was treated.

The Johnson law firm has helped me feel such relief & peace with my situation regarding my son. I would recommend Chris to anyone who has experienced or gone through difficult situations regarding custody and family matters.

Do not recommend at all, you never talk to your lawyer only the legal assistant. They get you by saying you can get this grand amount of money for you to only get pennies while they get their $6K fee for basically doing nothing. They do not fight for your rights they are only out to get paid.
