  • Disrespectful and unprofessional. I have called this office several times over the course of the last two months. Each time I was greeted by a woman named Rosey. She took a message for the attorney. I still have never received a call back. The last time I called I asked for more information and the Rosey hung up on me. At the very least Pando Rosalind needs a new office assistant. Don’t waste you time find a lawyer that has good communication and is respectful.

About Pando Rosalind

In the competitive and crucial field of legal services, the reputation of a lawyer is often built upon a combination of legal acumen, client satisfaction, and professional conduct. For those seeking legal representation in Chicago, Pando Rosalind is an attorney whose practice is located at 2852 N Campbell Ave, Chicago, IL 60618, USA. The firm can be reached via phone at (773) 289-3902 or mobile phone at +1 773-289-3902, making it accessible to individuals within the local community.

When considering legal professionals in the "Nearby Lawyers" category, potential clients often rely on personal recommendations and online reviews to gauge the quality of service. For Pando Rosalind, the available customer feedback presents a mixed picture, highlighting both positive and negative experiences regarding communication and overall client interaction. This necessitates an objective presentation of the firm's profile, acknowledging both its strengths and areas that, according to some clients, could be improved.

Publicly available information, such as a member profile on the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association website, indicates that Rosalind Pando primarily focuses on residential real estate, assisting clients in transactional closing work. This specialization suggests that the firm is equipped to handle various aspects of real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting due diligence, handling title issues, and facilitating the smooth transfer of property ownership. For individuals buying or selling homes in Chicago, an attorney with expertise in real estate closings is essential to ensure that all legal requirements are met and that their interests are protected throughout the process.

The office environment of a law firm, while not explicitly detailed in publicly available information, generally aims to be professional, organized, and conducive to confidential discussions. Given the nature of real estate transactions, an office handling such matters would likely prioritize efficiency and accuracy in document handling. The location on N Campbell Ave places the firm in a residential area of Chicago, suggesting a community-focused practice that is easily accessible to local residents. This type of setting often fosters a more personal and less intimidating atmosphere compared to larger, more corporate downtown firms, which can be a comfort to clients navigating what might be their first real estate transaction.

In terms of services offered, the focus on "transactional closing work" in residential real estate implies a comprehensive approach to property sales and purchases. This would typically include:

  • Reviewing purchase agreements and negotiating terms.
  • Handling earnest money deposits and escrow accounts.
  • Conducting title searches and resolving any liens or encumbrances.
  • Preparing closing documents, such as deeds, affidavits, and transfer tax declarations.
  • Representing clients at the closing table to ensure all documents are properly executed and funds are disbursed correctly.
  • Providing advice on property law, zoning regulations, and other real estate-related legal issues.

For first-time homebuyers or sellers, having a knowledgeable attorney to guide them through these steps can be invaluable, ensuring compliance with state and local laws and protecting them from potential liabilities. The complexity of real estate law in a bustling market like Chicago underscores the need for specialized legal counsel.

However, the firm's features and overall client experience, as reflected in the provided reviews, present a dichotomy. One client offers a glowing endorsement, describing Pando Rosalind as an "awesome attorney" who is "very good at what she does, detailed and friendly." This positive feedback suggests that when the client-attorney relationship is successful, the firm delivers on its promises of competent and approachable legal service. The praise for being "detailed" is particularly important in transactional law, where precision and thoroughness are critical to avoiding future disputes.

Conversely, another review describes a significantly negative experience, primarily centered on communication and professionalism of an office assistant named Rosey. The client reports multiple unreturned calls over two months and being hung up on, leading to a strong recommendation to "Don’t waste your time find a lawyer that has good communication and is respectful." This feedback, while specifically mentioning an office assistant, directly impacts the perception of the entire firm and the attorney. In the legal profession, effective and consistent communication is foundational to client trust and satisfaction. Even if the attorney herself is highly skilled, poor administrative support can significantly detract from the overall client experience and firm reputation.

From a promotional standpoint, a firm like Pando Rosalind would ideally emphasize its core strength in residential real estate transactions, highlighting the expertise and detailed approach praised by satisfied clients. Promotional materials might focus on the complexities of real estate law and how the firm's experience can streamline the closing process, ensuring a smooth and secure transaction for buyers and sellers. Testimonials from positive client experiences could be featured to build confidence in the firm's capabilities and its ability to deliver favorable outcomes.

However, the critical feedback concerning communication would need to be addressed internally to ensure consistent service quality. For any law firm, maintaining prompt and respectful communication with clients, regardless of who answers the phone, is paramount. Effective client relationship management is a key differentiator in the legal services market. Promotional efforts should implicitly or explicitly assure potential clients of responsive and respectful interactions from their first point of contact.

In conclusion, Pando Rosalind serves the Chicago community, primarily focusing on residential real estate transactional work. The firm's location on N Campbell Ave suggests a local, accessible practice. While one client enthusiastically praises the attorney's skills and friendly demeanor, highlighting a strong capability in handling detailed legal work, another client's experience points to significant issues with office communication and professionalism. For local users considering Pando Rosalind for their real estate legal needs, it is important to weigh the positive aspects of the attorney's legal proficiency against the noted challenges in administrative client interaction. Ultimately, successful legal representation hinges not only on legal expertise but also on transparent, respectful, and reliable communication throughout the entire legal process.
