Padula Bennardo Levine, LLP Introduce

For local users in Boca Raton, Florida, seeking legal representation through the "Nearby Lawyers" platform, Padula Bennardo Levine, LLP, located at 3837 NW Boca Raton Blvd #200, Boca Raton, FL 33431, USA, presents itself as a law firm with experienced attorneys. However, the available online reviews offer a starkly contrasting view of the client experiences, particularly concerning attorney Daniel R. Levine and the firm's handling of certain employment law cases. Potential clients should carefully consider these differing perspectives when evaluating this firm for their legal needs.

One detailed and critical review recounts a deeply negative experience with Daniel R. Levine. The reviewer states that despite trusting Mr. Levine to fight for justice in two separate cases, their experience was a "nightmare." A significant point of contention was the reviewer's assertion that Mr. Levine primarily represents employers, a fact they were allegedly unaware of when hiring him. The reviewer felt that Mr. Levine sided with the employer in their case and did not advocate for their interests as an employee.

Further accusations include Mr. Levine exhibiting a "fragile ego" and a controlling demeanor, prioritizing his own command over the client's input. The reviewer also alleges that Mr. Levine pressures clients into quick settlements for a fast payout, using the retainer as leverage by threatening to withdraw from the case if the client advocates for themselves or refuses a settlement deemed "reasonable" by the attorney.

The reviewer's case involved alleged OSHA retaliation by an airport contractor after reporting serious safety concerns. They express disappointment that Mr. Levine, instead of holding the company accountable, seemed more interested in a quick, low-ball settlement. The retainer agreement is criticized for containing provisions that allegedly allow Mr. Levine to easily withdraw if a client refuses a settlement he deems acceptable, effectively coercing clients into unfavorable agreements.

The reviewer recounts Mr. Levine withdrawing from their case at the beginning of settlement negotiations after they refused to undervalue their claim. They describe this action as unethical and calculated, prioritizing his own convenience over the client's rights. Additionally, the reviewer claims that Mr. Levine treated opposing counsel with more kindness and deference than his own client, allegedly becoming aggressive with the employee while being soft with the employer who was accused of wrongdoing.

This negative experience was not isolated, according to the reviewer, who also entrusted Mr. Levine with a second case after firing another firm, only to be allegedly failed again. They claim that Mr. Levine delayed action, produced a weak demand letter, and then abandoned the case when it did not appear to be an easy win. The reviewer notes that a subsequent attorney took the case and is now diligently fighting it, leading to the conclusion that Mr. Levine is more interested in personal gain and quick settlements than in advocating for employees.

The reviewer strongly urges potential clients to think twice before considering Daniel R. Levine, describing their experience as one of "betrayal, abandonment, and frustration." They assert that he is not the aggressive advocate he may claim to be and instead prioritizes his own convenience, uses the retainer to his advantage, and is more likely to side with the employer than the employee. The reviewer's account serves as a stark warning to others seeking legal representation, particularly in employment law matters.

In contrast to this highly critical review, another reviewer offers a positive assessment of Padula Bennardo Levine, LLP as an "excellent law firm with highly experienced attorneys." This reviewer specifically praises Cris Bennardo, describing him as a "second generation real estate attorney who is both capable and personable." They state that their clients and they have enjoyed his counsel and title services for many years. This positive feedback highlights the firm's expertise and positive client relationships in the area of real estate law.

Given these significantly different experiences, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment and services of Padula Bennardo Levine, LLP as a whole. The positive review suggests a professional and capable firm, particularly in real estate matters, where clients have enjoyed long-term positive relationships with attorneys like Cris Bennardo. The negative review, however, paints a concerning picture of the firm's approach to employment law cases handled by Daniel R. Levine, raising serious questions about client advocacy, communication, and ethical conduct in those specific circumstances.

The services offered by Padula Bennardo Levine, LLP appear to span at least two areas of law: real estate law (as indicated by the positive review mentioning counsel and title services) and employment law (as detailed in the negative review). The features of the firm seem to include experienced attorneys, as noted in both reviews, but the client experience can apparently vary significantly depending on the attorney and the area of law involved. In real estate, the features seem to include capability and personable service. In the recounted employment law experience, the alleged features include a focus on quick settlements, potential prioritization of employer interests, and a retainer agreement that may facilitate withdrawal from cases.

In terms of promotional information, the positive review serves as a strong endorsement for the firm's real estate practice, highlighting the experience and positive relationships built over time. However, the extensive and damning negative review acts as a significant caution, particularly for individuals seeking representation in employment law matters. Potential clients must weigh these contrasting viewpoints carefully.

For local users in Boca Raton, Florida, considering Padula Bennardo Levine, LLP from the "Nearby Lawyers" platform, it is crucial to recognize the divergent client experiences. While the firm may offer excellent service in certain areas like real estate, the serious allegations raised in the employment law review warrant significant consideration and due diligence. Individuals seeking representation in employment disputes, particularly those involving potential retaliation, should be especially cautious and may want to seek further information or consider alternative legal counsel based on the concerns raised.

To make an informed decision, potential clients may wish to inquire specifically about the attorneys who would be handling their case and their track record in similar matters. Contacting the firm at (561) 544-8900 or +1 561-544-8900 for more information and seeking additional references or reviews beyond these two may be advisable steps in the process of choosing legal representation. The contrasting feedback highlights the importance of thorough research and careful consideration when selecting a lawyer to entrust with your legal needs.

I trusted Daniel R. Levine of Padula Bernardo Levine, LLP on two cases to fight for justice on my behalf, but my experience with him has been nothing short of a nightmare. Mr. Levine mainly represents employers and I wasn’t aware of this when I hired him. He sided with them during my case and did not advocate for me. He has a fragile ego and thinks he’s in command, not the client. He also wants to “drive the bus”, so if a client advocates for his/herself, he will lash out in anger and use the retainer to coerce you to take a quick settlement for a quick payout or risk withdrawing from the case. As an attorney, his role should have been to stand up for me and hold companies accountable for retaliation and wrongdoing. Instead, he betrayed my trust, abandoned my cases-not once, but twice. He showed that he is more interested in quick settlements, his own convenience, and ego-rather than truly advocating for his clients. My case is against an airport contractor which involved OSHA retaliation after I reported serious safety concerns. This wasn’t a minor issue—it was about standing up to a company that retaliated against me for standing up for justice. Initially, Dan took my case, but his true intentions quickly became clear. His focus was not on fighting for justice, but on pressuring me into accepting a low-ball settlement offer to end the case and move on to the next client. Dan crafted his retainer agreement in a way that makes it easy for him to abandon his clients if they refuse to settle on terms he finds acceptable for himself. The agreement contains provisions allowing him to withdraw if a client refuses to accept a settlement offer he deems ‘reasonable,’ effectively coercing clients into taking low-ball offers. When I made it clear that I wasn’t willing to undervalue my case and accept an unfair offer, Dan Levine used his retainer as a way out. He withdrew from my case right at the beginning of settlement negotiations, leaving me completely defenseless. His actions weren’t just unethical—they were calculated. He created a way to prioritize his own convenience over his clients’ rights. What’s worse, Dan Levine treated opposing counsel with far more kindness and deference than he ever showed me, his own client. He was soft and appeasing with them, but when it came to me, he turned into an aggressive litigator—not to fight for me, but to fight against me. He applied more pressure on me, the employee, than on the very same employer who had wronged me. This wasn’t the first time Dan let me down. I also trusted him with another case after firing another law firm, and he failed me there too. He promised to take action, but instead, he delayed for days, crafted a weak demand letter that showed no real commitment to fighting, and then abandoned me when he realized it wasn’t an easy win. Needless to say, another attorney took the case, saw what he did not, and is fighting the case diligently. Dan’s repeated failures have proven to me that he isn’t in this business to fight for employees—he’s in it for himself and quick, easy settlements. If you’re considering Daniel R. Levine, I strongly urge you to think twice. My experience with him has been one of: betrayal, abandonment, and frustration. He is not the aggressive advocate he may claim to be. Instead, he prioritizes his own convenience, crafts retainers to give himself an easy way out, and will turn on the employee faster than he will stand up to the employer. No one should have to go through what I’ve endured—being wronged by a company and then wronged again by the very attorney I trusted to fight for me. His actions are a betrayal of what an attorney should stand for, and I feel it is my responsibility to warn others. If you are seeking representation, I urge you to choose your attorney carefully. Someone like Dan Levine might leave you worse off than where you started. My story is a warning to anyone considering his services: do not trust him to stand by you when it matters most. He’s in it for himself, not for you.
