I met with this firm and agreed to pay them to represent my mother for estate planning. I was billed $420 for the initial visit in March, 2024. I was not informed in advance that there would be a charge for the initial meeting, but I paid it anyway because I wanted my mother to have the help that she needed quickly. They waited until the end of May to call my her. When they did call, it was to decline to represent her. 7 months later in February 2025 they sent me a $193.50 bill for REFUSING TO REPRESENT my mother. They did absolutely nothing other than refuse to represent my mother

For the vast majority of the public who are ignorant to the corruption going on in socalled "protective proceedings," this firm is among the worst offenders. They threaten clients with never seeing their parents again, unless they agree to notorious fiduciary, Ann Yela, being appointed as their loved ones guardian and conservator. Once that happens all is lost.

I am disappointed to see the process of how this organization does business. The lack of communication and not sharing updates on the process of things is wrong. Julie continues to keep people out of the loop and telling her clients that things could be completed within weeks and still nothing to happens, not even a follow-up. Telling people it could be any day when a settlement will be complete and then here we are 5 months later, she continues to tell my family things are still being processed. What is being processed? So poor communication and not getting this done in a timely fashion is not a business you may want to support. They don't support you and so why do you want to waste your time supporting them? Do your homework people. I feel they love to take advantage of people who don't know the process of how things are to be done and completed in a timely fashion. It makes no sense how they will continue to say it will be will 2 to 3 weeks, now it's going on 5 months? So please don't waste your time on organization. It's a complete waste of time and money not worth spending on people who aren't doing a damn thing in timely fashion. It's pathetic that it's taking this long when all this started in February. of 2024 and it's now almost August. Make it make sense?

This is not the place to go if you're brain dead from stress and just want a lawyer who will take care of things without prodding. I had to remind multiple people that my Grandma was still alive, waited weeks for something 'on Julie's desk waiting for her signature' and learned more in one 15 minute free consultation somewhere else than I did in the 7 weeks I passively spent with Julie's team on an $8000 retainer. When I see reviews as bad as what I want to write, I think 'this person must be a rude idiot and not even know it'. But I assure you even a polite genius would regret choosing this place for elder care planning. Here is one example: After asking for and getting approval on a retainer refund, they told me they would call when it was ready. Given my experience with them already, I imagined this could take about a month. I waited 2 weeks then called them. The receptionist said she'd check on it and call me back. No one did. Another week goes by, I call again. It was their lunch hour so I left a voicemail. I was pretty curt in that message, which might be a reflection of my character, or might be a reflection of being owed $7,500 by someone not returning my calls. That seemed to work though. They left a voicemail and even complained about me to the receptionist at my office because I left two phone numbers to call back. The best part? The check had been ready for me for weeks. Or course. Just....go somewhere else.
