  • Had a great experience closing on a first-time home purchase. They were responsible and organized keeping track of every detail of the closing process. They helped with closing as well as negotiating the repairs after inspection. Highly recommend to anyone buying a property in NJ.
  • Very unprofessional lawyer, refused to talk to his clients who try to resolve the issue. As stated on the retainer letter, we need to pay a fee of $1,100, not including the survey, title search, inspections and home insurance (which I know), but it does include the negotiation, review, and finalization of the contract, the closing of the mortgage loan and the title closing at which clients will receive title to the property. No one ever informed me about the fee increase until the closing date. They even refused to give me the final closing disclosure saying my lender should send me this. But are clients supposed to know how much they are paying eventually. I insisted and got the final closing disclosure. They increased the fee to $1,540 using some unknown charge headings. One of the charges is Closing clearance, but is it supposed to be included in the loan closing??? I tried to talk to Joseph to resolve the issue, and he just said look at the breakdown and then hung up on me. After the negotiation between Joseph and my husband, Joseph agreed to reduce the fee. However, Joseph's wife Linda, who owns the title company that Joseph used for my case, all of sudden refused to close for me. She threatened us if we don't email them to accept the fees they charged, they would not close the transaction for us. How unprofessional they are!!!! In the end, we have to email them to accept the fees because we want the house and we have been waiting for this closing for so long. Now they don't even answer my phone calls because we want to solve this fee issue. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this time I decided to share my experience with you. So you will be careful.
