Welcome to our platform for Nearby Lawyers. If you are a resident or individual with legal needs in Reno, Nevada, you might be considering O'Mealia Law, Ltd., located at 227 Clay St, Reno, NV 89501, USA. The firm can be contacted at (775) 348-0780 or via mobile phone at +1 775-348-0780. As part of our commitment to providing local users with a comprehensive and objective view of available legal services, we present an analysis based on the client reviews found online regarding O'Mealia Law, Ltd.
While we do not have specific details about the physical environment of O'Mealia Law, Ltd.'s office, it is generally expected that a professional law firm would provide a suitable setting for client consultations and legal work. However, the available client feedback offers more direct insights into the firm's service and operational aspects.
The online reviews for O'Mealia Law, Ltd. present a mixed picture of client experiences. One reviewer expresses immense gratitude to the "O’Mealia Law team" for their assistance with immigration needs, specifically helping them to become a citizen. This client felt treated like family and praised the team for going "above and beyond" to achieve their goal. They specifically commend Josette as "one of the best immigration attorneys I have ever came across," highlighting her professionalism and kindness. This positive testimonial suggests a high level of satisfaction for at least one client in the area of immigration law.
However, another, more detailed review presents significant concerns about the firm's organization and client service. This reviewer was a client when the firm was under the name of Richard Fleischer and recounts a negative experience spanning nearly three years, during which their case allegedly went nowhere despite a substantial financial investment. They claim to have been left with no options or help from the firm at that time.
The reviewer further details their experience after the firm transitioned to O'Mealia Law, Ltd. They report difficulty in contacting the office, stating that they "called and called for months before finally reaching someone." The phone system is described as an unorganized "phone tree" that leads to multiple voicemails, and even leaving a message allegedly did not result in a returned call. This paints a picture of significant communication challenges.
Upon finally getting through and requesting their case records, the reviewer claims they were given the "run around for months." Despite needing these records to start over with a new lawyer, they allegedly faced false promises and a lack of follow-through. They were told their records were in storage and would be sent shortly, which the reviewer asserts was a lie. They claim to have called back weekly for almost three months without receiving their records or any satisfactory answers. This lack of organization and failure to provide essential client information raises serious concerns about the firm's operational efficiency and client care.
Based on this detailed negative account, a significant feature of O'Mealia Law, Ltd., at least according to this reviewer's experience, appears to be a lack of organization and poor communication. The difficulty in reaching the office, the failure to return calls, and the prolonged struggle to obtain case records suggest potential systemic issues within the firm's administrative processes. The reviewer explicitly advises potential clients to "hold my breath for quality service" based on their experiences with the phone system, phone service, lack of returned messages, and false promises.
Considering the stark contrast between the positive immigration experience and the negative account of disorganization and poor service in another legal matter, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the firm's services and features without knowing the specific areas of law O'Mealia Law, Ltd. currently focuses on. The positive review highlights potential expertise and excellent client care in immigration law, while the negative review suggests significant shortcomings in other areas or in the firm's overall management.
From a promotional standpoint, the positive review regarding immigration services could be used to attract clients with similar needs. The mention of a helpful and family-like approach, coupled with the successful outcome of achieving citizenship, could be a strong selling point for individuals navigating the complexities of immigration law in the Reno area. Josette's professionalism and kindness, as highlighted by the client, are also valuable attributes to promote.
However, the detailed negative review serves as a significant cautionary note. The allegations of disorganization, poor communication, lack of follow-through, and false promises could deter potential clients, especially those who prioritize responsiveness and efficient handling of their legal matters. The difficulty experienced in obtaining case records also raises concerns about the firm's commitment to client needs even after representation has concluded.
For local users in Reno seeking legal services, it is crucial to weigh these contrasting experiences. If your legal needs fall within immigration law, the positive review suggests that O'Mealia Law, Ltd. may provide excellent service in this area. However, if your legal needs are in other fields, or if you highly value organization and reliable communication, the negative review warrants careful consideration and further investigation.
In conclusion, O'Mealia Law, Ltd. in Reno, Nevada, has received both positive and negative feedback online. One client praised their immigration services, highlighting the team's helpfulness, professionalism, and success in achieving citizenship. However, another client reported significant issues with the firm's organization, communication, and follow-through, particularly in obtaining case records after a lengthy and ultimately unsuccessful representation under a previous firm name. Local users considering O'Mealia Law, Ltd. should be aware of these differing experiences and are encouraged to inquire specifically about the firm's current areas of practice, their communication protocols, and their commitment to client service to determine if they are the right fit for their individual legal needs.

Wanna give a big thanks to O’Mealia Law team for there help in my immigration needs they helped me to become a citizen treated me like family they went above and beyond to get me to reach my goal I will forever be grateful for everything they did to help me Josette is one of the best immigration attorneys I have ever came across very professional and kind thank you again.
This law office is so unorganized. I was a client back when this was under Richard Fleischer who ultimately wasn't able to help my case. After investing a lot of money and almost 3 years, my case went nowhere and I was left with no options or help from this firm. When it was taken over by O’Mealia law, I called and called for months before finally reaching someone in the office. Their phone tree bounces you to three different voicemails before you can finally leave a message, not that that matters because no one returns calls anyways. After finally getting through and requesting my records I was given the run around for months after that. All I needed (and still need) is a copy of my records. Once I got ahold of someone they said my records were in storage and I would receive them shortly, that was a lie and I called back weekly for MONTHS literally almost 3 months, following up on my request and I kept getting no answers. Not only were they not able to help me, now I’m struggling to start over with a new lawyer until they can see what was done by this office. This is two, almost three years later and I still can’t get through or have anything to show or review after thousands and thousands of dollars. I have no knowledge of how this office is run now, but if their poor phone trees, bad service when they answer the phones, lack of messages returned and false promises are any indication, I’d hold my breath for quality service.
The staff at the Law Office of Richard Fleischer is wonderful, and always honest. The lawyers are great and always explain things in a way that you will understand. They prepare you very well for immigration court dates, along with showing support throughout your case. Ramon Acosta is great and we are thankful that he was our attorney! Dorothy and Brenda are also amazing. I highly recommend this place.
The Law Office of Richard D. Fleischer, Ltd is a very reliable law firm that I highly recommend for all immigration issues. 100%. I’ve been with them for 6 years. They’ve been very honest to me from the start. They told me that my case is a difficult one to win and it will take a long time. They supported me all the way, they didn’t let me down. All the staffs are very accommodating, easy to talk to. Special mention to Atty. Ramon Acosta, who’s been very patient in helping me to win the case. I was so devastated but he didn’t let me feel that way. He didn’t gave hope but he gave his best. And what I like most is that they treated me like a family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🙏 THANK YOU SO MUCH‼️‼️ God bless🙏
This group of ladies work amazingly hard to help you reach your end goal! They have helped my mother and guided her through renewing procedures while living several states away. They accommodated to our time and answered all our questions. Not only do I feel my voice is being heard, my needs are being met as well. I would highly recommend this office. It’s a family owned office. Sisters and mother working together as a team to help individuals have an opportunity in this country. Plus they speak Spanish which made this process easier. Thank you ladies for all you do.
