While specific details regarding the firm's areas of specialization beyond real estate closings, the overall experience of their legal professionals, and promotional offers are not detailed, it is crucial to consider the significant negative feedback received from recent clients when evaluating their services.
The office of O'Kelley & Sorohan, Attorneys At Law, LLC is located on Lakeside Parkway in Tucker, GA, within a professional office building setting. Suite #340 suggests a dedicated workspace for the firm's operations and client meetings. While the physical environment is not described in detail by the provided reviews, the focus of the feedback is predominantly on the conduct and professionalism of the firm's staff during the closing process.
The limited information available primarily consists of two detailed negative reviews from individuals who experienced significant issues during real estate closings handled by O'Kelley & Sorohan, Attorneys At Law, LLC. These reviews raise serious concerns about the firm's processes, professionalism, and ethical conduct, particularly within their closing department.
One reviewer recounts multiple "disappointing closing" experiences with the firm. The most significant issue highlighted was a severe breach of professional conduct by a closer named Brittany. According to the review, Brittany shared the seller's contact email address in the CC field of an email sent to the buyer's agent. The reviewer, who works hard to generate leads in the real estate business, expressed significant anger and concern that this action led to the buyer's agent directly contacting their client, potentially jeopardizing the business relationship cultivated by the reviewer. The reviewer explicitly states that this act was "reckless and unprofessional" and "unforgivable," leading to a firm decision to never send another deal to O'Kelley & Sorohan, Attorneys At Law, LLC. Notably, the reviewer also mentions that Brittany never apologized for this serious error. While the reviewer had no issues with the pre-closer (Anitra) and to a lesser extent Carlton, the severity of Brittany's action overshadowed any positive aspects.
The second review also describes a "very disappointing" experience with the firm. In this instance, one of their closing attorneys allegedly stated that a wire transfer was complete when it was not actually processed until after 6 pm. The reviewer explicitly labels this behavior as "unethical" on the part of the attorney. The timing of a wire transfer is often critical in real estate transactions, and a misrepresentation of its completion can lead to significant inconvenience and potential financial repercussions for the parties involved.
Based on this limited but impactful information, the key issues and potential features to be aware of regarding O'Kelley & Sorohan, Attorneys At Law, LLC include:
- Reported Unprofessional Conduct: One review details a significant breach of professional etiquette and potential business harm caused by a closer sharing confidential contact information inappropriately.
- Alleged Unethical Behavior: Another review accuses a closing attorney of unethical behavior by misrepresenting the completion time of a wire transfer.
- Disappointing Closing Experiences: Both available reviews describe the overall experiences with the firm's closing services as disappointing, indicating potential systemic issues within this area of their practice.
- Lack of Apology: The first reviewer specifically notes the closer's failure to apologize for the error, suggesting a lack of accountability or customer service focus in addressing mistakes.
- Inconsistent Service: While one reviewer had no issues with a pre-closer and fewer concerns with another individual, the significant negative experiences with a closer and a closing attorney highlight potential inconsistencies in service quality within the firm.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in these reviews, local users considering O'Kelley & Sorohan, Attorneys At Law, LLC for their legal needs, particularly in real estate closings, should proceed with extreme caution. These accounts suggest potential risks related to professionalism, data security, ethical conduct, and the reliability of information provided during the closing process.

I have had more than one disappointing closing with this law firm. I am someone who works very hard to generate leads, and in this business, you eat what you kill or STARVE. There are and should not be any freebies if work is put in. However, the last straw for me was when the closer (Brittany) shared my Sellers contact email in the CC column of an email with the Buyers agent. I am still very angry about it because this business is already tough and competitive enough, and for my lead to have been given away after I had worked so hard to generate it is unforgivable. That Buyers Agent is now contacting my client; however due to the relationship that I cultivated, I have been told about the pestering calls. I have no issue with the Pre-Closer (Anitra) and to a lesser extent Carlton, however for Brittany to do such a reckless and unprofessional act, I WILL NEVER send another deal to your office. Brittany also never apologized! I will not work with any attorney's office that could be so careless with my business that ultimately lines their pockets.
My experience with this firm was very disappointing. One of their closing attorneys stated the wire transfer was complete. The wire transfer was not done until after 6 pm. This displayed an unethical behavior from the attorney.
Garrett was a very engaged closer. He was thorough, kind, and funny. He made the somewhat boring process fun. Thank you Garrett for entertaining us and closing this dream home for our clients.
Very unorganized with almost zero communication! They accepted my EMD quickly and then failed to coordinate and communicate a closing date! They still have my EMD and I have to file a lawsuit. Hopefully someone will respond to this since they don’t pick up the phone or answer emails! If Carleton Or A. Smalls is handling your preclosing/closing you need to exit quickly!
After seeing all the reviews I was not the only one unhappy after all .. As a realtor I hope the desk assistant be more kinder the next time I visit I asked her to called the closing attorney as my buyer client wants to take some pictures to keep it as a souvenir but she keep us waiting and they left unhappily
