Neal S Comer Esq Introduce

Welcome to Nearby Lawyers, your online platform for connecting with legal professionals in your area. We are introducing Neal S Comer Esq, an attorney with an office located at 81 Main St Suite 205, White Plains, NY 10601, USA. Serving the White Plains community and Westchester County, Neal S Comer Esq offers legal services from his office in a commercial building on Main Street. While specific details about the office environment are not available online, clients can generally expect a professional setting for legal consultations.

Based on the available customer reviews, Neal S Comer Esq appears to handle cases in at least two distinct areas of law: criminal defense and tax matters. One review describes a positive outcome in a criminal case, where the client, hired Mr. Comer in late 2023, faced a "very heavy charge" that was ultimately reduced to a "violation as simple as a parking ticket." The reviewer praises Mr. Comer for being "knowledgeable, understanding, and very educated on his stance as a Lawyer." They further highlight his effectiveness in defending the client, stating that Mr. Comer "put me in a better place" and expressing trust in his legal representation. This review suggests that Neal S Comer Esq possesses skills in criminal defense and is capable of achieving favorable results for his clients in such matters.

However, another review presents a significantly different and highly critical perspective on Mr. Comer's professional conduct. This review details events that occurred while Mr. Comer was representing the client's father in income tax matters. The reviewer recounts being asked by Mr. Comer, along with their then-husband, to gather evidence from three locations in White Plains. The reviewer specifically inquired about the legality of this request, to which Mr. Comer allegedly responded, "How can gathering evidence for your father be illegal?"

The reviewer states that their actions, undertaken at Mr. Comer's direction, led to their arrest and their then-husband's arrest on charges related to 18 USC 1001, with the threat of a forty-year federal prison sentence. Due to this threat and the situation involving their young children, they were allegedly "talked into pleading guilty" and subsequently sentenced to 14 months in prison, with staggered incarceration dates that left their children without parental care. The reviewer further claims that one of the locations they were sent to by Mr. Comer was a safe deposit box that their husband was not a signatory on, and that Mr. Comer's actual intention was to retrieve $700,000 in gold that the IRS had seized days prior. The reviewer expresses the belief that Mr. Comer was prioritizing the potential recovery of money over the well-being of their family, leading to severe and lasting negative consequences, including the loss of a custody battle, the scattering of their children, and the dissolution of their marriage.

This second review paints a starkly contrasting picture of Neal S Comer Esq's professionalism and ethical considerations. The allegations include providing questionable legal advice that allegedly led to the client's arrest, a perceived disregard for the potential legal repercussions for the individuals he instructed, and a prioritization of financial gain that allegedly resulted in significant harm to the client and their family. The strong negative emotions expressed by the reviewer, who states they "cannot forget nor forgive what this attorney did to us" and that they "wouldn’t trust this man to clean a litter box," underscore the severity of the allegations from this particular client's experience.

It is important for potential clients to consider both of these reviews when evaluating Neal S Comer Esq. The first review highlights his potential effectiveness in criminal defense matters, while the second raises serious concerns about his professional judgment and ethical conduct in a tax-related case. As an objective introduction based on the available information, it is necessary to present both perspectives without omitting any details provided in the reviews.

Given the conflicting nature of these two accounts, it is impossible to offer a straightforward promotional statement. Instead, potential clients are advised to carefully weigh the information presented in both reviews, conduct their own due diligence, and ask detailed questions about Mr. Comer's experience and approach to cases similar to their own. It would be prudent to seek further information and potentially consult with other legal professionals before making a decision on legal representation.

Neal S Comer Esq's office is located at 81 Main St Suite 205, White Plains, NY 10601, USA, and he can be reached at (914) 683-5400 or +1 914-683-5400. This information allows local users to contact his office directly to inquire about his services and discuss their legal needs. However, in light of the serious allegations raised in one of the provided reviews, it is particularly important for potential clients to proceed with caution and thorough investigation.

In conclusion, the available information on Neal S Comer Esq presents a mixed picture. One client review praises his knowledge and effectiveness in a criminal defense case, leading to a significantly reduced charge. Conversely, another review details extremely negative experiences and serious allegations of professional misconduct in a tax-related matter, resulting in severe personal and familial consequences for the reviewer. Potential clients in White Plains and Westchester County should carefully consider these contrasting accounts and conduct thorough research before engaging Neal S Comer Esq for legal representation.

Neal Comer was hired by me in late 2023, he was knowledgeable, understanding, and very educated on his stance as a Lawyer. Neal was absolutely incredible with the way he defended me in my case and put me in a better place, where I went from a Very heavy charge to a violation that was as simple as a parking ticket. I trusted the right Lawyer to put my fate into. Thank you! Neal for your amazing service as a defender.

Neal Comer was representing my father in income tax matters when my father was arrested tax charges. He called me and my then husband to White Plains and told me he needed us to go to 3 places to “gather evidence” for my fathers trial. I specifically asked him if this was legal and his exact response was: “How can gathering evidence for your father be illegal?” Yeah well… the IRS had a radically differently from Neal! We were arrested while our young children were held at gunpoint on charges of something I still don’t understand 18 USC 1001 I believe. We were threatened with FORTY YEARS in federal prison which. Considering our youngest children were then 8 so we were talked into pleading guilty. THAT was the end of everything for us and our children. We were both sentenced to 14 months in prison and worse my husband was incarcerated in December an me in May! That left the kids without a parent at home to care for them. I later found out that 1 of the places he sent us to claiming my husband was a signatory on my fathers safe deposit box. He asked for access and was told he wasn’t on the box so we left with no fuss. We’ll I’m reality what he wanted was $700,000 in gold the IRS had gotten days before we got there. He’d told us to bring everything we found to him. Gee, what a surprise… what he wanted was gold and money. The end result was that we lost a custody battle over the youngest twins, the rest were scattered around the country in boarding situations and my husband of the time couldn’t overcome the trauma and after 9 years of marriage we divorced. He had legally adopted my 3 oldest kids prior to all this yet never saw or spike to them again after leaving the home. All this ruined our lives and broke up the family. It was horrendous and that Neal was willing to sacrifice a family in hopes of getting money is just egregious. Now I am 70 and remarried for going on 25 years now but I cannot forget nor forgive what this attorney did to us. I wouldn’t trust this man to clean a litter box!

The worst attorney ever. Run for the hills. Mr Comer showed up to my Trial unprepared and I lost my case resulting in significant financial losses.
