Welcome to the detailed introduction of Neahusan Law, a legal practice located in Reno, Nevada. Situated at 443 Marsh Ave, Reno, NV 89509, USA, Neahusan Law, under the guidance of Sean Neahusan, provides legal services to the local community. For users in the "Nearby Lawyers" category seeking legal representation, particularly in criminal defense matters, understanding the firm's environment, services, features, and client experiences is crucial.

Environment and Location:

Neahusan Law operates from its office on Marsh Avenue in Reno, Nevada. This physical presence establishes it as a local legal resource for residents of Reno and the surrounding areas. While specific details about the office ambiance or size are not available through the provided information, a physical address suggests accessibility for in-person consultations and meetings, which can be important for clients navigating legal complexities. The location within Reno makes it a potentially convenient option for individuals seeking nearby legal counsel.

Services Offered:

Based on the available customer reviews, Neahusan Law appears to primarily focus on criminal defense. The positive testimonial explicitly mentions a case dismissal and dropped charges, indicating experience and success in this area of law. While the specific types of criminal cases handled are not exhaustive in the reviews, the nature of a criminal charge ("freedom is on the line") suggests representation in potentially serious legal matters. It's reasonable to infer that Neahusan Law provides services related to various criminal charges, aiming to defend the rights and interests of their clients.

The recommendation from Joey Gilbert Law also suggests a connection within the local legal community, potentially indicating a network of professionals and a recognized presence in the Reno legal landscape.

Features and Strengths:

Several features and potential strengths of Neahusan Law can be identified from the client reviews, although they also present a mixed perspective:

  • Potential for Positive Outcomes: The most significant strength highlighted is the instance of a client's case being dismissed and charges dropped. This outcome speaks directly to Sean Neahusan's ability to achieve favorable results for his clients in at least some cases.
  • Upfront Communication: One positive review notes that Sean Neahusan was "upfront and did not sugar coat," which can be a valuable trait for clients who prefer a realistic and direct assessment of their situation.
  • Dedication to the Case: The initial positive reviews suggest a lawyer who "goes to bat" for his clients and works towards a resolution. The client who experienced a dismissal expressed lasting gratitude, indicating a significant positive impact.
  • Recommendation from Another Law Firm: The referral from Joey Gilbert Law implies a level of professional respect and recognition within the local legal community.

Areas for Consideration (Based on Reviews):

It is crucial to also consider the points of concern raised in the reviews to provide an objective introduction:

  • Communication Issues: A significant negative point raised is the perceived lack of communication, particularly during critical times such as approaching trial dates or when the attorney is out of the office for extended periods. This led to feelings of abandonment for one client.
  • Transparency Concerns: The same negative review expresses a need for greater transparency, especially if the attorney decides not to fight the case to the end. The feeling of being "railroaded" into a plea bargain is a serious concern raised by a former client.
  • Resource Utilization: The negative review also mentions negligence in connecting provided resources that could have potentially won the case. This suggests a possible disconnect in strategy or execution from the client's perspective.
  • Workload and Availability: While one positive reviewer acknowledges that Sean Neahusan is busy and advises patience, the negative review indicates that this busyness can lead to communication breakdowns and perceived lack of attention to individual cases.

Promotional Information:

Based on the provided information, direct promotional offers or specific campaigns are not available. However, the positive testimonial regarding the dismissal of charges serves as a powerful, albeit anecdotal, form of promotion, highlighting the potential for successful outcomes when choosing Neahusan Law for criminal defense in Reno. The recommendation from Joey Gilbert Law also adds a layer of credibility within the local legal community.

However, it is equally important for potential clients to be aware of the communication and transparency concerns raised in the other review. While the positive outcome is noteworthy, the negative experience suggests that prospective clients may want to discuss communication protocols and expectations clearly during an initial consultation.

For local users in the "Nearby Lawyers" category seeking a criminal defense attorney in Reno, Neahusan Law presents a mixed profile based on these reviews. The potential for a strong defense and positive results is evident in one client's experience. However, the issues raised regarding communication and transparency are significant factors that potential clients should consider and discuss with the firm.

In conclusion, Neahusan Law in Reno, NV, offers legal services primarily in criminal defense. CHOOSE SEAN NEAHUSAN TO REPRESENT YOU These 5 stars are an honest. I cannot speak for the other reviews, but yes I was charged $1,000 for my case. In my opinion there’s no price on freedom especially if that charge will cost you more than a lawyer fee. As for the communication; I did receive feedback from Mr. Neahusan, but what I think people have a hard time understanding is that, you’re not his only case and he does have a personal life. Yes you are client, you will be treated as such but keep in mind of your own attitude for someone fighting for your rights which you lack knowledge of. Sean was upfront and did not sugar coat. We communicated on what is necessary and got my case dismissed and charges dropped! I was recommended to his office by Joey Gilbert Law, so keep that mind as well. He is a busy man. Have respect and although, I know, personally, it is stressful be patient and respectfully continue to reach out. If he says you’re good then you’re good! Thank you Sean Neahusan, A forever grateful man

UPDATE: Sean I wasn't being passive-aggressive, yet what you had read was a wife under tremendous distress. It had did taken some stresses off by you showing up for my husband, the family was please in the work you had provided him. We are not out of the woods yet Sir, but you re-insured the confidence that you will do well. * I can't remove the previous rating, but I will say you come through for us. Thank you Sean! _______________________________________________________________ We felt the advising Attorney Sean Neahusan was going to go to bat for my Husband's legal matter, however this Attorney was negligent in connecting resources provided that would win our case. We are experiencing that this Attorney never communicates with you when he's out the office for long periods of time, especially close to our trail date! 😠 This feels as abandonment to me, while my Husband needs him mostly. When your freedom is on the line Sean transparency is vital especially if you have decided suddenly not to fight for your client - to the end not providing enough time to seek better council! Leaving your clients to feeling railroaded for a plea that should have been dismissed at the beginning is horrible from you. 😢 We believed in you! 👉 After experience: Make sure you have a back up plan incase you choose this Law Firm!

DO NOT hire this lawyer. The judge had to explain to him how to file the correct paperwork. He refused to return phone calls and emails for 3 months and even changed a court date and did not notify me. I found out while I was checking in to court that day. He literally closed his doors (to start another practice ) on me and I'm assuming other clients as well because his secretary said she was fed up with it. I did file a complaint with the NV Bar and I'm awaiting the outcome. I made a mistake by paying him $ 7500 in full from the start. He demonstrated lack of knowledge and communication and did not even attempt to defend me at all.

I left a voicemail and filled out the contact form on the website. I haven't heard back and it's been two weeks! My son is a client of theirs and he hasn't heard from them either and he reached out more than a month ago. UPDATE: within a day or two of posting my review, a few months back, I heard from Sean. He mentioned my review when we spoke which confirmed my suspicions that I was only hearing back because of my poor review. He stated he thought he had spoken to my son recently, however, my son had not heard back from him after several contact attempts. Nonetheless, the case was resolved and is over with in Reno, NV. My son is back home! When you NEED a lawyer, you need one that is going to communicate with you and work for you, helping you... I'm not so sure this is the right place to go if you want to be in communication with your lawyer.

Mr. Neahusan has the wonderful ability to calm down a freaked out woman (me). When I saw him and explained my situation, he told me there was no way my opponent could win, that I was doing everything right, and had no worries. He filed a response with the court and I heard nothing more about it. Besides being a nice man, he's an honorable man, and a good lawyer. I'm very pleased to recommend him.
