The office of Picillo & Picillo PC is situated on East High Street in Somerville. While specific details about the office environment are not provided in the reviews, a professional law office typically offers private and comfortable spaces for client consultations and discussions regarding personal and often emotionally charged legal matters. The location on High Street suggests accessibility for residents of Somerville and neighboring towns seeking family law assistance.

Natalee Picillo, Esq., is highlighted in one review as an "excellent lawyer" with decades of invaluable experience, particularly in child support cases. This client praises her realistic and conservative approach, emphasizing that her focus is exclusively on the client's best interest, contrasting her with lawyers perceived as prioritizing minor victories for billing purposes. This positive feedback suggests that Natalee Picillo is seen by some clients as a dedicated and experienced advocate in family law matters, particularly those involving children.

However, another client review presents a significantly different perspective. This client describes an unpleasant experience with Natalee Picillo and her firm, citing a case they deemed simple that allegedly took an extended period to resolve and incurred substantial fees. The core of this negative feedback revolves around perceived dishonesty and an alleged attempt to prolong the case for financial gain. The client details issues with billing communication, specifically mentioning a significant delay in receiving invoices and an excuse regarding an incorrect email address. This client reports that their case, involving setting up an agreement with their soon-to-be ex-husband (while still married) and adding their name to the title of the marital home, took approximately a year to finalize and cost a considerable sum. This review strongly advises potential clients to be cautious.

Based on the client reviews, Natalee Picillo, Esq. of Picillo & Picillo PC appears to specialize in the following areas of family law:

  • Divorce: The second client's case involved an agreement with their soon-to-be ex-husband, indicating that Natalee Picillo handles matters related to divorce and separation.
  • Marital Property Issues: The addition of a name to the title of the marital home suggests experience in handling property division and related issues that arise during divorce or separation.

Given the firm name "Picillo & Picillo PC," it is plausible that there are other attorneys within the practice, potentially specializing in different areas of law. However, the provided reviews focus specifically on the experience with Natalee Picillo, Esq.

  • Client-Focused Approach: The emphasis on working exclusively in the client's interest and being realistic and conservative suggests a dedication to achieving the best outcome for the client rather than maximizing billable hours on minor issues.

However, the negative review raises concerns about:

  • Billing Transparency: Allegations of delayed billing and a questionable excuse regarding communication raise concerns about the firm's transparency in financial matters.
  • Case Efficiency: The client's perception that a simple case took an unreasonably long time to resolve suggests potential issues with efficiency or case management.
  • Trust and Honesty: The explicit mention of "dishonesty" is a serious concern that potential clients should consider.

Natalee has been helping me in a child support case, and I consider her an excellent lawyer. In contrast to many other lawyers who are focused on bubbling up a case to get their client a $1 victory and charging $10 for that job, she is very realisic and conservative, working exclusively in the client's interest. If you have a case that involves a divorce or child support related issues, you won't regret having Natalee representing you - her decades long experience is truly invaluable for the client.

Working with Natalee was not pleasant experience since my case extremely simply and not taking long time . All she helped me were set up the agreement between me and my soon to be ex - husband ( we are still in our marriage) and added my full name into the Title of the marital house that we bought during our marriage . I know the legal fees costs a lot but depends on the time and how complicated of the case , but felt like Natalee and her firms dishonesty and tried to make money while keeping my case pending ... Natalee and her Assistant Gerri , who I believe in charge in the settlement did not noticed or sent any bill to me or email me about the payment . Although I was keep telling Natalee that I am done my case after two of my requests was solved . During the process, we did through by mail , email or phone , and I was ready anytime needed. At the early of the August , Gerri emailed me the whole bunch of the bills which she supposed to sent me every month with the excuse that she had me wrong email - unacceptable, unprofessional since they are in laws forms . So , Natalee was finished my case almost a year since my first time at her office in August 2023 to Agust 2024. And costs me $5391.41. Please , be aware and take care .

Came to Ms. Picillo kind of last minute with a matter related to custody and child support. She took the time to go over every detail of my situation and prevented my Son’s mother from weaseling out of paying almost 10k in arrears, and stopped a request for an additional overnight that wasn’t in my Son’s best interest. Would highly, highly recommend, will definitely be using moving forward after representing myself for over 4 years.
