Welcome to the listing for Moore Garland C in our "Nearby Lawyers" category, connecting you with legal professionals in Conyers, Georgia. Located at 915 Center St NE, Conyers, GA 30012, USA, Moore Garland C offers legal services to the local community. However, it is crucial to consider the detailed and overwhelmingly negative experience shared by a recent client when evaluating his potential services.
The physical environment of Moore Garland C's office on Center St NE in Conyers is not described in the provided information. Typically, a lawyer's office aims to provide a professional and private space for client consultations. However, the negative review focuses heavily on the attorney's conduct and professional abilities rather than the physical office space itself. Therefore, while the office is likely a standard professional setting, the client's experience suggests that the interpersonal and professional environment created during legal representation may be significantly problematic.
The specific legal services offered by Moore Garland C are not explicitly stated. However, the detailed negative review indicates that he was hired for criminal defense representation. The client's account suggests a severe lack of diligence, communication, and effective representation in this area. The reviewer details concerns about Mr. Moore's grasp of the case, his unwillingness to listen or ask questions, and a perceived lack of care for the client and the outcome of the case. This paints a concerning picture for anyone seeking legal assistance, particularly in the realm of criminal defense.
The features of Mr. Moore's legal practice, as described by the dissatisfied client, are overwhelmingly negative. The client expressed concern about the rapid demand for initial payment followed by a period of neglect and poor communication. The communications received after payment were described as negative, leading the client to believe that Mr. Moore was either generally miserable or harbored animosity towards him, negatively impacting the representation. The client felt that Mr. Moore lacked a fundamental understanding of the case, was unresponsive to their input, and demonstrated a lack of interest in their defense.
Furthermore, the client's perception of Mr. Moore's presence in the courtroom was that it was detrimental to their case, making them feel defenseless and as though the prosecutor had an advantage. The client's family and defense witnesses reportedly shared similar negative impressions of Mr. Moore's demeanor and perceived lack of motivation, leading them to question his ability to provide adequate representation. The reviewer's own observations corroborated these concerns, describing Mr. Moore as "dry, non-motivated, and flat out lazy," and "lethargic" in court.
The issue of fees also arose, with the client alleging that Mr. Moore attempted to overcharge by demanding an additional 40% of the fee despite the trial being six days away and the final 20% not yet due. The client refused this additional payment. Moreover, the client accused Mr. Moore of sharing crucial case information with a potential defense witness, which they felt was a breach of attorney-client privilege and further eroded their trust in him.
Faced with this dire situation, the client ultimately made the decision to release Mr. Moore as their attorney just six days before their jury trial, fearing that his continued representation would lead to a guilty verdict. The client explicitly states that they would rather represent themselves than have Mr. Moore handle their case. Following his release, Mr. Moore allegedly refused to send the client's file to their new attorney and did not provide a bill or invoice, with the client perceiving his communication as threatening.
The client's account serves as a stark warning and strongly advises potential clients to be aware of what they might be getting into with Mr. Moore. The reviewer felt compelled to share their negative experience to potentially save others from a similarly "expensive mistake" and the "humility" of being poorly represented. The fact that the reviewer claims to have noticed negative reviews on Avvo being deleted further underscores the importance of this detailed personal account.
In terms of promotional information, there is none to be gleaned from this overwhelmingly negative review. Instead, it serves as a cautionary tale for anyone seeking legal representation in the Conyers area. The client's experience highlights the critical importance of thorough vetting and ensuring that an attorney is communicative, competent, and genuinely invested in their client's case. The stark contrast between the expectation of professional legal service and the experience described in this review is significant.
Given this detailed and highly critical feedback, potential clients of Moore Garland C should proceed with extreme caution. It is strongly recommended to seek additional information, possibly from other sources or through direct and thorough questioning about his approach to client representation, communication practices, fee structure, and track record. The experience of this one client raises serious concerns about his professional conduct and effectiveness as a legal representative.

In conclusion, Moore Garland C is listed as an attorney in Conyers, GA. However, a recent client's detailed account describes a deeply negative experience characterized by poor communication, lack of diligence, perceived incompetence, questionable billing practices, and unprofessional conduct. I hired Mr. Moore to represent me. At the start, I was a little concerned that he wanted payment so fast (like right now). Mr. Moore needed to meet for payment, astoundingly fast. I simply do not know why, since after payment, I experienced a never ending waiting game. My communications from Mr. Moore were very negative after payment. I felt like he was either just miserable, or that this attorney just really hated me. Either way, I could see he was not representing me well. Mr. Moore never had a grasp on my case, he would not listen and did not ask questions, he could not have cared less about me, or the case. Moreover, I could tell his presence in the courtroom was not serving me well. I felt like the prosecutor could smell blood in the waters. To say I felt defenseless is an understatement. Mr. Moore was not concerned with my side of the story, and he seemed to be on the other team. My family, my wife, and a several defense witnesses met Mr. Moore in person or by phone, and every single one came back to me, and said, man - are you sure you want that guy representing you, he seems like a guilty verdict waiting to happen. He so dry, non-motivated, and flat out lazy, quietly I knew these comments reflected my own thoughts of Mr. Moore. As my concern about Mr. Moore's ability to represent me grew, I finally rejected his request for more money, especially since I was due to pay the final 20% at trial, and he was demanding 40% more. So Mr. Garland "Gary" Moore, had attempted to over-charge, but I did not allow it. He also shared crucial information about the case with a potential defense witness, of which I felt was in violation of attorney-client privilege, but also I simply had lost any faith I had in this attorney. I sometimes wondered if the bigger mistake was hiring Gary Moore, or the charges I received in the first place. So with my nightmare of an attorney in tow - I agreed to release Gary Moore as my attorney, in open court, six days prior to my jury trial. I mean, i just figured I was toast. I hired a very bad attorney, and now it was time to pay the piper. Yes, Mr. Moore was that very, very bad. I do not how else to describe him, except for one extremely expensive mistake. Luckily, our criminal justice system swung in to action, I was able to hire another attorney. And wow, complete dismissal of everything. So much of my life, my time, my money was wasted on this lawyer. I noticed his bad reviews on Avvo are being deleted, so I have no idea whats up with that, but I have no immediate plans to delete this review. If you are in a jam, you deserve to know what you are getting in to with Mr. Moore, and its not good. You flat-out deserve to know. With that said, I am a firm believer in our justice system, but you have your own responsibility to recognize and overcome flaws. When you show for court, you need to have a strong presence, you need show the courts that you are professional and respectful, and if your intentions are to fight the charges, you had better do your homework. In my case, I was 100% prepared for a battle in front of a jury, and in my opinion, Mr. Moore was not going to fight my case in front of a jury. He barely showed for court, much less. Lethargic is how I would describe Mr. Moore. After I released Mr. Moore six days prior to scheduled jury trial, and I hired a real defense attorney, Mr. Moore refused to send over my file to new council, he refused to send me a bill or invoice, and he even seemed to be threatening me, in so many words. I considered filing a complaint with the law board, but i have already lost so much with Mr. Moore, I am moving on. Maybe you can read this, and I can save someone else the humility. Others can do as they please, but I hired and dealt with Mr. Moore. And i am telling it now, that I would absolutely roll the dice and represent myself at a trial, before I let Mr. Moore anywhere near my case. Best of luck to you!
