Montgomery Law Education Lawyers Introduce

For parents and guardians in Philadelphia seeking specialized legal assistance within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, particularly concerning educational matters for children with special needs, Montgomery Law Education Lawyers presents a focused and dedicated option. Located at 1420 Locust St #420, Philadelphia, PA 19102, USA, the firm is situated in a central and accessible part of the city. This location in a professional building on Locust Street suggests a standard, professional legal office environment, conducive to confidential discussions about sensitive and often challenging educational issues.

The environment at Montgomery Law Education Lawyers, while not explicitly detailed, is implied to be a supportive and understanding one, given the highly empathetic nature of the legal services provided. As a law firm specializing in special education, it is designed to cater to the unique needs of families navigating complex school systems. The professional office setting would offer privacy and a structured space for consultations, IEP (Individualized Education Program) reviews, and strategy sessions.

Montgomery Law Education Lawyers specializes in advocating for children with special educational needs. Their services are crucial for parents who find themselves struggling to secure appropriate services and accommodations for their children within school districts. As evidenced by the detailed client review, the firm assists with various aspects of special education advocacy, including negotiating IEPs, ensuring children receive the services they deserve, and representing families when districts are uncooperative. The firm's involvement can lead to significant positive changes in a child's educational plan, as seen in the client's experience where the district became "far more agreeable" and "things I was told are not possible suddenly became an option" with the firm's intervention.

The primary feature of Montgomery Law Education Lawyers, as overwhelmingly highlighted by one detailed review, is their exceptional dedication and effectiveness in special education advocacy. The client's long-term relationship with the firm (about 3 years and 3 different cases) and their consistent positive outcomes underscore the firm's competence and reliability. Key individuals at the firm, particularly Dr. Mary Montgomery and attorney Brad, are singled out for their outstanding contributions. Brad is credited with doing a "wonderful job of getting my son what he deserved and needed," demonstrating effective legal representation.

Dr. Mary Montgomery, in particular, is lauded as "the true star" and the client's "saving grace." Her accessibility ("could reach her any time"), willingness to speak at "ridiculous hours," deep understanding, and keen eye for detail ("she saw little things I would have easily missed in my sons IEP") are presented as invaluable. This level of personalized, round-the-clock support is an extraordinary feature, especially for parents who are often overwhelmed and emotionally drained while fighting for their child's rights. The immediate positive shift in the school district's stance upon learning of Dr. Montgomery's involvement speaks volumes about her reputation and influence in this specialized field. Her ability to "fine tune his IEP beyond my satisfaction" and ensure its rapid implementation showcases a high level of strategic skill and efficiency.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced view, as another review directly contradicts the firm's promotional claims regarding consultations. This review states that a "Free consultation with the very rude secretary is totally unhelpful. Just fishing for $600 for 2 hours work before they tell you anything. They don't offer 'free consultations' even if that is stated on the website." This feedback highlights a significant point of concern regarding initial client interactions and transparency about fees. While the firm may claim to offer free consultations, this client's experience suggests that the initial screening process or the subsequent financial expectations might not align with this promise, and that the administrative staff's demeanor could be an issue. This discrepancy in the initial contact experience is a vital piece of information for prospective clients.

For promotional purposes, Montgomery Law Education Lawyers would primarily leverage the compelling success stories and the deeply personal impact they have on families. The detailed positive review serves as powerful social proof, emphasizing the firm's ability to achieve tangible results and provide empathetic support in a complex and often emotionally charged area of law. Their specialization in special education law itself is a strong promotional point, indicating focused expertise rather than a general practice. The firm's physical presence in a central Philadelphia location also makes it readily identifiable for those searching for "Nearby Lawyers."

However, addressing the negative feedback regarding free consultations and administrative staff interaction would be vital for their overall promotional strategy. Transparency about fees and ensuring a welcoming and helpful initial contact experience are critical for attracting new clients, especially in a field where trust and sensitivity are paramount.

In the context of the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Montgomery Law Education Lawyers stands out for its highly specialized focus. For parents in Philadelphia navigating the challenges of special education, the firm offers an accessible and expert resource. While the overwhelmingly positive experiences with their legal expertise, particularly from Dr. Mary Montgomery and Brad, are a major draw, potential clients should be mindful of the reported issues concerning initial consultations and administrative interactions. It would be advisable for prospective clients to clarify the consultation process and fees upfront to manage expectations effectively.

In conclusion, Montgomery Law Education Lawyers, located at 1420 Locust St #420, Philadelphia, PA 19102, USA, is a specialized law firm dedicated to advocating for children with special educational needs. The firm's environment is professional and designed to support sensitive client interactions. Key features include highly effective legal advocacy, particularly by Dr. Mary Montgomery and Brad, their exceptional client support, and their ability to secure favorable outcomes in challenging school district negotiations. However, potential clients should be aware of conflicting reports regarding free consultations and initial administrative experiences. Despite this, for those in Philadelphia seeking specialized and dedicated legal assistance in special education, Montgomery Law Education Lawyers remains a significant and often highly impactful "Nearby Lawyer" option.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have worked with Montgomery law for about 3 years now. They have helped me with 3 different cases regarding my son’s education and special needs. When I found out my son had special needs I was at a loss, we were asked to leave a daycare because he was "hard to manage". That was when I realized I needed legal help in order to get my son the services he needed. Brad was our attorney and did a wonderful job of getting my son what he deserved and needed. The district was far more agreeable with him on our side then they ever were when I tired negotiating for services with them on my own. The true star however was Mary Montgomery, I could reach her any time and she would take the time to speak with me at ridiculous hours, she always understood and she saw little things I would have easily missed in my sons IEP. I just had her assistance specifically to negotiate my sons latest IEP, once again I tried doing it alone and the district would not budge. The moment I informed them Dr. Mary Montgomery would be our advocate at an upcoming meeting for us things quickly changed and things I was told are not possible suddenly became an option. She helped fine tune his IEP beyond my satisfaction and it was implemented in days! I don't think I have ever been as happy with my sons IEP as I am now. It is sad and unfortunate that parents must fight this hard for their kids with special needs but I a am beyond grateful for having found Montgomery Law (specially Marry who’s been my saving grace since day one). Considering our school district I will most likely be using this firm again in the future.

I beg to differ with what Kevaun has to say, I’ve been working with Montgomery law over one year now and I have to say that they’re exceptional. They really helped me not once but twice. They fought really hard for my daughter’s education when the district was giving me a run around. Mary is so warm and really nice, she treated me like family through the process and was super knowledgeable. I do recommend Montgomery law 100% and would be using them in the foreseeable future.

My family and I drew our perseverance, inner strength and hope from Montgomery Law firm when my husband and I thought it was impossible to go against one of the huge school districts in NJ. Our lawsuit dragged on for agonizing 2 years . Joe and Mary’s Team never once gave up on our son in making sure he was getting the meaningful education he deserved. They are compassionate caring people and very passionate about helping family, thus making a difference in the student’s life. They made a huge impact on our son’s success in high school. We are forever grateful for everything that Montgomery Law has done for our family. Nothing is impossible when you believe and fight together against inhumanity!

I WOULD NEVER CHOOSE THIS LAW OFFICE AGAIN! Worst experience ever, especially when you are depending on expertise for something so meaningful as your child’s education. 0 integrity 0 Authenticity 0 professionalism, This law office is ran like a mom and pop corner store. In my opinion the law firm had little to no resources shown and no desire to litigate in my opinion. My non-verbal autistic son on several occasions was physically locked in a room all alone, hit, and had chairs thrown at him by workers in school setting in the Philadelphia school district. Montgomery law only wanted to do a settlement agreement despite the principal and several staff admitting these Egregious acts. The team at Montgomery law I was exposed to were Joseph Montgomery, Mary Montgomery, Bradley Montgomery. They did demonstrated the desire to get money more than help my son with adequate placement. My son is still at a school placement that cannot program for him. Mary, Bradley, and Joseph, knew this but still yelled, and belittled, me for not wanting my son placed there. After taking a tour the recommended a facility, it was clear this was not the place for my son. The worker giving the tour had been employed at the recommended school for close to 25 plus years. He told me several times, not to bring my son there that the school would not be able to program for my son in his opinion. Despite my personal observations during the tour, the schools staff member’s recommendation not to bring my son there, and the fact the could not be in compliance with me son’s current iep Montgomery law still recommended I go there and “tie up loose ends” Mary, the yelling swearing fire cracker suggests maybe the employee is disgruntled. SMH They knew my son’s iep says he has to be in a classroom setting with four or less. The recommended school had a classroom size of up to around 7 to 8 students. Of course now, an iep has been scheduled only 4 weeks into the school year to speak About another placement since the current recommended school can’t program for my son. I should not have given into their bullying. Now when I reach out to Montgomery law, I’m told by Mary Montgomery I would have to submit a new request for a new contract with Montgomery law since they no longer represented by the firm since my son’s settlement agreement was complete and my son was placed at a school that cant program for him, Or since they tied up their lose ends and got there money, comp Ed and made a quick placement despite how it would effect my sons future. I sent several emails, but Toni avail. PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE MONTGOMERY LAW until you read this entire post ! I wouldn’t recommend they represent anyone else’s child!
