  • I just completed a divorce process with Henry Kass. My ex and I wanted to keep the process amiable, fair, and quick. Henry is friendly, knowledgeable, and has great attention to detail. He took the time to get to know my background and explain the process to me before we got into it. He worked very well with my ex's lawyer, and we were able to get the exact results we were looking for in a very short amount of time. Fees were reasonable and accurately billed and his paralegal, Emaley, was also great to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a divorce lawyer, particularly one who is skilled and training in collaborative divorce law.
  • I had a bad experience with this law firm. I hired Stacey McCullough and was required to pay her up front, but the service I received was terrible. My goal in hiring her was to get my case resolved, satisfactorily, as quickly as possible. Instead, she caused the case to drag on for over 14 months without any resolution and then she quit. Between court appearances, there was little to no communication from her and she did not respond to my emails. She missed three court days due to not feeling well, further protracting the case. On two other occasions, she had temper tantrums in the courtroom. I don't understand why she would be angry with anyone, except herself, with the way she had mishandled the case and caused it to drag on. It appeared she just wanted to get paid, not do very much work, and then move on to the next client. She made it clear that she was not really representing me. She was representing herself. She tried to pressure my into accepting an offer that was not acceptable, so I declined the offer and then she quit. This was a breach of our written agreement and it left me hanging without any representation. Considering the lousy job she was doing, I didn't mind her quitting, but she did not refund the money I paid her. After she quit, I chose to represent myself and I was able to get the issue resolved, completely in my favor, and within a reasonable amount of time. So, in hindsight, I must say my experience with Stacey was just plain awful. Besides the money, extra stress and lost time, I was also able to achieve a better outcome on my own. And now, if I want to get my money back, it looks like I'll have to take her to court. If you need an attorney, I'd recommend you try to find one that will allow you to pay by the hour or after the services have been completely performed. When you pay up front, you are at the mercy of the attorney. When they are not performing, you are not free to fire them and hire another attorney because then you'll have to pay both attorneys. It is better to pay by the hour, so that you can more easily change attorneys if needed. I believe the positive reviews on here about Stacey are fake.
  • I can not say enough about George S. Fredrick and his dedicated team of professionals. They have raised the bar in ensuring exceptional results with their legal expertise. I was so happy with their service and professionalism. They truly care about doing the right thing and fighting for the best outcome for you. I was immediately notified of anything happening in my case in real time and they always followed up with me on my thoughts. I was able to collaborate with them on my desired outcome and was not told just to do what they wanted me to do. They cared about my feelings and my input, so I felt like I got justice. They always took the time to listen to me. They are definitely on top of their game not only legally, but also emotionally putting their true heart into things for their clients to a desired outcome for all. They understand the human side of this business! Other establishments could learn a lot from this outstanding team. You will not go wrong choosing this exceptional team of individuals.
  • I am incredibly grateful to have had Lindsey Mirabella (MKFM Law) as my Family Law attorney during one of the most challenging times in my life. Her exceptional level of care and kindness truly set her apart, especially when I was facing the emotional turmoil of being intentionally excluded from my daughters' lives by my former wife. Lindsey's empathy and understanding were unwavering, particularly when I found myself excluded from pivotal moments like my daughters' high school graduation and all of their college planning, despite these requirements being outlined in the original divorce agreement. Throughout the process, Lindsey demonstrated extreme patience and compassion. Even when I was highly emotional and reacted poorly due to the stress and trauma of the circumstances, she remained calm and supportive, guiding me with utmost professionalism. Her ability to handle my volatility with such grace was nothing short of remarkable. What truly amazed me was Lindsey's ability to secure a better agreement and resolution than I had initially anticipated or even asked for. Her strategic acumen and dedication to my case were evident in the outcome, which exceeded all of my expectations. I am beyond thankful for her efforts and would highly recommend Lindsey Mirabella to anyone in need of a compassionate and effective Family Law attorney. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcome for them.
  • This law firm is very knowledgable in all aspects they deal with and I would highly recommend them. Great response time to your concerns or questions and works very hard for their client(s). MKFM great job. Thank you very much. If I ever needed any additional legal council I would have no doubt that I would utilize MKFM again. The attorney that I utilized in my proceedings was Catherine Sheehan. She is highly knowledgable and will guide you step by step through the process taking place and keeps you up-to-date. She treats her clients with respect and puts forth more than a 100% effort for you. I very highly recommend Catherine Sheehan as your attorney. Keep up the great work Cat. I will always remember the tremendous job you did for me. Thank you.

This setting typically offers a private and formal atmosphere, crucial for client consultations where sensitive personal and legal matters are discussed. The location ensures convenient access for clients residing in Wheaton and the surrounding communities, making it a central point for legal services in the region. The professional surroundings are what clients generally expect from a law firm, fostering an atmosphere of trust and seriousness required for effective legal representation. The firm's establishment in such a locale underscores its commitment to serving the legal needs of individuals and families in DuPage County and beyond.

Based on the provided client reviews, Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC appears to have a significant focus on family law, particularly divorce. The detailed review concerning attorney Henry Kass highlights his expertise in this area, specifically mentioning "collaborative divorce law." This indicates a practice that aims to resolve divorce cases amicably and efficiently, rather than through contentious litigation. Services would include handling various aspects of divorce proceedings such as property division, child custody, child support, and spousal maintenance. The firm's ability to facilitate quick and fair resolutions, as described by a client, suggests proficiency in negotiation and alternative dispute resolution methods. While the provided reviews are limited in scope to family law, the firm's full name, "Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC," suggests a partnership of multiple attorneys, often indicating a broader range of legal services beyond a single niche. It is common for established firms like this to also handle other areas such as civil litigation, estate planning, or real estate, though the immediate information focuses on their family law capabilities, particularly divorce proceedings and related matters. Their capacity to work effectively with opposing counsel to achieve desired results in a short timeframe highlights their operational efficiency and a client-centric approach focused on pragmatic outcomes.

The features of Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC, as depicted by client experiences, present a significant dichotomy, illustrating varying levels of service and professional conduct within the firm. On one hand, attorney Henry Kass is lauded for his exceptional qualities. Clients describe him as "friendly, knowledgeable, and has great attention to detail." His commitment to understanding a client's background and explaining the divorce process "before we got into it" showcases a proactive and client-education-oriented approach. His ability to work "very well with my ex's lawyer" is a crucial feature for amiable and efficient resolutions, particularly in collaborative divorce. The positive outcome achieved – "exact results we were looking for in a very short amount of time" with "reasonable and accurately billed" fees – speaks volumes about his effectiveness and integrity. Furthermore, his paralegal, Emaley, also received praise, indicating a strong and supportive team structure around Henry Kass. These attributes paint a picture of an attorney who is highly competent, client-focused, and capable of delivering excellent results with professionalism and empathy, particularly suited for those seeking a less adversarial divorce process.

On the other hand, the firm faces a severely negative review concerning attorney Stacey McCullough. This client's experience highlights significant issues with service, communication, and professional conduct. The client’s goal was a "satisfactory, as quickly as possible" resolution, but instead, the case "dragged on for over 14 months without any resolution," and the attorney "quit." Specific criticisms include "little to no communication" between court appearances, unresponsiveness to emails, missing "three court days due to not feeling well" (further protracting the case), and displaying "temper tantrums in the courtroom." The client also accused her of appearing to "just want to get paid, not do very much work, and then move on to the next client," and explicitly stating she was "not really representing me. She was representing herself." The claim that she tried to "pressure me into accepting an offer that was not acceptable," followed by her quitting (a "breach of our written agreement") and not refunding the upfront payment, presents a picture of highly unprofessional and detrimental service. The client ultimately resolved the issue "completely in my favor" by self-representation after her departure, underscoring the perceived inadequacy of her services. This stark contrast in experiences suggests that while the firm employs highly effective attorneys, there may be inconsistencies in the quality of service provided by different members of the team, raising questions about overall client management and adherence to professional standards across all attorneys.

While no specific promotional offers like free initial consultations were explicitly mentioned in the provided text, the ease of contact suggests a readiness to engage with potential clients. The highly positive testimonials for attorneys like Henry Kass can serve as strong promotional points, showcasing the firm's capacity for effective, amiable, and client-focused legal representation. However, potential clients might also consider the negative feedback regarding other attorneys when evaluating the firm for their legal needs, underscoring the importance of researching individual attorney profiles within the firm.

The firm demonstrates a capacity for highly effective, amiable, and client-focused legal representation through attorneys such as Henry Kass, who is praised for his knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to achieve desired outcomes efficiently and fairly. However, the firm's overall profile is objectively balanced by a profoundly negative client experience with attorney Stacey McCullough, which highlights significant concerns regarding communication, professional conduct, and accountability. For local users in Wheaton and the surrounding areas, this firm offers specialized expertise in family law with strong positive feedback for certain attorneys and their support staff, but prospective clients should conduct thorough due diligence, potentially inquiring about specific attorneys and their individual track records when considering representation.
