Operating under the "Nearby Lawyers" category, this listing aims to connect local users with legal professionals in their vicinity. However, it is crucial for potential clients to consider all available information when making a decision about legal representation. The following introduction is based on the limited information provided, including direct contact details and unsolicited reviews from individuals who claim to have interacted with this law office.

Based on the feedback received, the environment of Miller Richard A's office, as perceived by at least one reviewer, may not meet typical professional expectations. The reviewer specifically mentioned that "the reception area needs to be dusted from time to time, it smells old. It's a pretty boring room!" While the aesthetics and cleanliness of an office might seem secondary to the legal expertise provided, they can contribute to a client's overall impression of the professionalism and attention to detail of the firm. A neglected reception area could potentially raise concerns about the general management and operational standards of the practice. However, it is important to note that this is a single observation and may not reflect the experience of all visitors.

The services potentially offered by Miller Richard A are alluded to in the client reviews. One reviewer mentioned calling for information regarding their grandmother's trust, suggesting that Mr. Miller may handle trust-related legal matters. The response received, according to this reviewer, was to seek independent legal counsel and not to call back, which they found unsatisfactory given their grandmother's prior payments to the firm. Another review details a case involving "a forgerie," indicating that Mr. Miller may also handle cases related to fraud or financial crimes. However, this reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the follow-through on important court submissions. It is important to note that the specific areas of law practiced by Miller Richard A are not explicitly stated in the provided information, and these inferences are based solely on the issues mentioned by reviewers.

The features and characteristics of Miller Richard A's legal practice, as described by the reviewers, raise several significant concerns for potential clients. One reviewer used strong negative language, stating "Zero star!!!! Don't come here!! The Miller's are NASTY LAWYERS!!!" This individual reported being advised to seek their own lawyer when inquiring about a trust established by their grandmother, despite prior payments made to the firm. This interaction was perceived as "VERY NASTY" and unprofessional. Another reviewer described Mr. Miller as someone who "goes through the motions, but is not sincere." This individual claimed that Mr. Miller failed to follow through on crucial court submissions in a case involving forgery. Additionally, this reviewer alleged that Mr. Miller appeared to be "nodding off" during a meeting and that the agreed-upon price was later increased by an unexplained $3,500. This client also reported overhearing Mr. Miller justifying these extra charges to his secretary after the client attempted to end a phone call, and noted his perceived difficulty in ending the call appropriately. Furthermore, this reviewer speculated that Mr. Miller might have "anxiety issues which makes him inconsistent," which they deemed problematic for someone making decisions affecting people's lives. Both reviewers strongly advised against hiring Mr. Miller.

Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the two available reviews, it is challenging to identify any positive promotional aspects or features that might attract local users. The feedback highlights serious concerns regarding professionalism, communication, billing practices, and the level of dedication to client cases. Potential clients should carefully consider these firsthand accounts when evaluating whether to engage the services of Miller Richard A. It is important to approach these reviews objectively, recognizing that they represent individual experiences. However, the consistency and severity of the issues raised warrant careful consideration. There is no indication of any promotional offers or strategies in the provided information; instead, the reviews serve as cautionary tales for prospective clients.

In conclusion, the information available regarding Miller Richard A, Attorney at Law, located in Whittier, CA, primarily consists of two highly critical reviews. These reviews raise significant concerns about the attorney's professionalism, sincerity, follow-through on case work, billing practices, and office environment. One reviewer reported a negative and dismissive experience when inquiring about a trust, while the other detailed issues with a forgery case, including alleged lack of diligence, unexplained additional charges, and unprofessional behavior. Potential local users seeking legal services in Whittier should carefully consider this feedback and conduct further due diligence before deciding to engage Miller Richard A. Given the strong negative sentiments expressed by these reviewers, it would be prudent to seek additional information from other sources or consider alternative legal representation in the area. This guy goes through the motions, but is not sincere. He didn't follow through on work that needed to be submitted to the court that was very important in this case involving a forgerie. He was nodding off during a meeting I had with him in his office. (By the way the reception area needs to be dusted from time to time, it smells old. It's a pretty boring room!) He had agreed to one price then in the end added an extra 3,500 with no explanation. I had a phone conversation with him when I attempted to hang up I could hear him justifying his charges to his secretary. He didn't even know how to hang up the phone correctly. I think he has anxiety issues which makes him inconsistent. Not good when one is making decisions that can affect people's lives. I would NEVER hire him again!!

This guy is bad person and should not be in business. Look at his Yelp and Avvo reviews. Mr. Miller is not ethical and I don't recommend him at all. I hired him to help me with my divorce and he was non-responsive to my needs and was very intimidated by opposing counsel. He caved when I needed him the most. But that's the not reason why I'm posting this review...... A few years after I fired him (around 2005), he arbitrarily sued me for an extra $6,000 that I didn't owe him. He also claimed that he served me for this lawsuit but he didn't. I never knew about it. Then he sued me again for another $8,000 about 7 years later (2012) and again he never served or notified me by telephone, mail or any notices. After this 2nd case went into default, this is when I was notified. So now I owe him over $14,000 according to this crazy lame judgment. Crazy, right? He obviously knows how to use the LA County Court system to try to shake people down of extra fees.

This guy is a real slimy lawyer. The first person had it exactly right. He is evil conniving and all about making his money. Don't be fooled by him, he offered to use a real estate loan person in my divorce and the guy he referred me to cheated me out of $300 for an estimate and never made the effort to get the property refinanced the way it was supposed to be handled. I learned later that this might have been a conflict of interest on this lawyer's part but it didn't matter.
