Based on the available customer reviews, the expertise of Mets Schiro & Manetta, LLP appears to be particularly strong in Employment and Labor Law. One reviewer specifically identifies Brian Manetta as "the best Employment and Labor Lawyer in the state." This suggests that the firm offers services in areas such as:

  • Employment Law (for Employees): This can include issues such as wrongful termination, discrimination (based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, etc.), harassment, wage and hour disputes (unpaid overtime, minimum wage violations), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) issues, and employment contract disputes.
  • Labor Law (potentially representing Unions or Employees in Unionized Environments): This area deals with the rights and responsibilities of unions, employers, and employees in a collective bargaining context. This might involve negotiating collective bargaining agreements, addressing unfair labor practices, and handling grievance procedures. The positive review from someone in Law Enforcement who dealt with PBA attorneys suggests experience in this domain.
  • Employment Law (potentially representing Employers): While the positive reviews focus on employee representation, the firm may also provide counsel to employers on issues such as drafting employment policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, defending against employment-related claims, and handling workforce management issues.

The features of Mets Schiro & Manetta, LLP, as indicated by the customer reviews, present a somewhat mixed picture. On one hand, there is strong praise for the work ethic and effectiveness of at least one of the attorneys, Brian Manetta. Reviewers highlight his dedication, communication, honesty, and hard work in achieving positive outcomes for their cases. Specifically, one reviewer from law enforcement with extensive experience with PBA attorneys attests to Mr. Manetta's commitment and successful representation. Another reviewer emphasizes his honesty, knowledge of the law, and strong work ethic in winning their case.

However, another review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the firm's initial consultation process, stating a $250 charge for what they perceived as a brief Zoom call to determine if the firm would take the case, without a face-to-face meeting. This review suggests a potential concern regarding initial consultation fees and the perceived value received at that stage.

In terms of promotional information, the positive reviews act as strong endorsements for Brian Manetta's expertise in Employment and Labor Law. They highlight his dedication to his clients, his effective communication, and his ability to achieve favorable results in employment-related disputes. For individuals facing issues with their employers, these testimonials suggest that Brian Manetta at Mets Schiro & Manetta, LLP could be a valuable legal resource. The mention of his willingness to listen and do exactly what he said he would do builds trust and confidence.

If you are located in Woodbridge, NJ, or the surrounding Middlesex County area and are facing an employment or labor law issue, the positive reviews regarding Brian Manetta's expertise warrant consideration. If you are an employee experiencing wrongful termination, discrimination, wage disputes, or other employment-related problems, or if you are involved in a labor law matter, contacting Mets Schiro & Manetta, LLP at (732) 636-0040 or +1 732-636-0040 may be a beneficial step. However, it would be prudent to inquire about their consultation fees and process upfront, based on the feedback from one of the reviewers.

In conclusion, Mets Schiro & Manetta, LLP, located in Woodbridge, NJ, appears to have a strong focus on Employment and Labor Law, particularly with Brian Manetta being highly recommended in this field by multiple clients. His dedication, communication, and effectiveness are highlighted in the positive reviews. However, potential clients should be aware of the feedback regarding initial consultation fees. For individuals and potentially unions in the Woodbridge area seeking legal assistance with employment and labor law matters, reaching out to Mets Schiro & Manetta, LLP may be a worthwhile option to explore, keeping in mind the mixed feedback on the initial consultation experience.

They will charge you 250$ just to tell you that they're too weak to take your case. They will charge you 250$ and not even give you the decency to meet face to face just a quick zoom call. πŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

Brian Manetta is the best Employment and Labor Lawyer in the state ! I can attest to his work ethnics because I have dealt with other PBA attorneys throughout my almost 20 year career in Law Enforcement. Brian listened to me and did exactly what he said he would do for my case. The texts, the emails, the phone calls - his representation did not waiver. When an employee has an issue with their employer it is extremally stressful and can be drawn out. Trust Brian and trust the process! He is honest, he knows the law and he works very hard to win your case.

I didn't even want to rate this place, but they were extremely rude. I called to inquire on information I obviously don't know about and not even being on the phone for more than 5 minutes, two ladies utterly fussed about it. It's unbelievably disgusting to have heard these two women stress over the phone and condescend me over my honest questions. And if you're wondering what questions were asked, I asked for consultation costs and what to expect if I were to go through with a case. That's all that was asked and honestly, I don't think it takes a pilot or a doctor to answer those two simple questions, let alone understand them. Train those women properly on how to speak to people or hire two new ones with a friendlier personality because if that's the way they're being allowed to pick up the phone, you'll lose clientele.

Contacted and spoke to one of their attorneys about my case. Was supposed to review the case and call me back, which he never did. Called and left two messages and never received a return call. They advertise in NJ Cops that they are "for labor" which appears to be far from the truth.
