I have never dealt with any workers comp injury. After I was injured with a tibia plateau & fibula fracture, in 2023, i was taken off to let it heal, after going back to full duty work as my job was physically demanding. I returned back with pain & swelling & kept being sent back to work. I decided to hire Tom as I was frustrated, in pain & didn’t understand. I went back once a month for a “check up” for months with the nothing getting better, yet still was sent back to my job. Tom finally got me home 9 months later until we got answers. His legal assistant Irene is wonderful who helped make sure I got a doctor that would help me. Irene helped with simple things & questions that not only was I able to call tom at anytime but she also had direct contact & if I thought it was a simple question she went out of her way to answer them & was very personal & at times we would laugh or chat quick on life & at a time where you need it & feel lost. I was so frustrated & upset as not only did I not understand it all, but I also loved my job so much & eventually after finding out there was in fact a malunion fracture finally in 2025 & knew I wouldn’t return to a job I loved which was also along with the injury & dealing with worker comp. A separate sadness that I had to face. But Tom helped make it easier & educated me through it. I was mad, frustrated & upset & he walked me through 8 educated me when I was so upset feeling like my life was turned upside down & was finally calmer & understanding. I had to make some choices for myself when worker comp wanted to settle & tom was there every step of the way & made sure he was in contact every step of the way & would tell me my options but never told me what to do & was a support while making sure my settlement was the most for me. Lastly I came across Tom on TikTok & had called one other one for a “free consultation” after my first visit back to doctor after being released & leaving the doctor in tears when I thought I was just there for a steroid shot (this was within 4-6 weeks after full duty release) & she wasn’t interested in my case & was to call her when I was ready to settle & at that point I didn’t even know what was going on, it was one visit & doctor yelled at me & told me to quit & get an attorney. So, when I seen Tom’s TikTok I sent him message & got a phone call within a couple mins. He is there for the client, he is there to help you fight through any process from start to finish & I cannot be more grateful & thankful for him. He is there for you & will be there to get what you need no matter if it’s the beginning stages or end .. I AM SO GRATEFUL! I have a lot of passion & love my job, but I also knew I was in a lot of pain & something wasn’t right, I wanted to be at work, if it wasn’t for him, I would probably have just gave in, as it can wear you down & chose my job, because I thought I was suppose to. And I may be missing my job but he also not only got me through the system of workers comp, but he also got me answers & the right medical care!
