If you value your time, record, or sanity — stay far away from the Mayr Law Firm and Emiliano Castillo. I hired them to handle a simple traffic case. They took my money, showed up to court, and then disappeared. No call, no email, no update. I had to dig through the court website myself to learn the case was still marked as active. Only after I reached out did Emiliano casually mention that traffic school had been granted and a payment was due by June 1. That deadline had already passed. They never told me. No warning. No follow-up. Nothing. This level of disorganization and negligence is completely unacceptable from any legal representative. They risked points on my license and higher insurance premiums simply because they didn’t bother to do their job. And when confronted? No apology. Just a generic link to the court website and a “thanks for letting us help.” Help? Total lack of communication. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. There are plenty of competent lawyers in the Bay Area — this is not one of them.

I missed one return call, and the next day I called twice — no one answered. On the third attempt, someone finally picked up, but responded with a noticeably poor attitude, telling me not to call again and to just wait for their callback. At the time, I thought I was speaking with the attorney, but based on their response, it was actually a staff member. Regardless, the tone was unprofessional and left a bad impression.
