Welcome to Nearby Lawyers, your online platform for connecting with legal and related service providers in your local area. Within our directory, we present Lexington Law, a firm located in Beaverton, Oregon, that offers services related to credit repair. Situated at 4820 SW Tucker Ave #120, Beaverton, OR 97005, USA, Lexington Law aims to assist individuals in addressing issues with their credit reports and improving their credit scores. This introduction intends to provide local users with an objective overview of the firm's likely environment, the services they purport to offer, the features of their service as perceived by clients, and crucial considerations based on recent customer feedback.

The office of Lexington Law in Beaverton is located on SW Tucker Avenue. A suite number (#120) within a commercial building suggests a professional office setting where client consultations and administrative work are conducted. While specific details about the office's interior design, consultation rooms, and client amenities are not available, clients can likely expect a standard business environment suitable for discussing their financial and credit-related concerns. The location in Beaverton offers accessibility for residents in the western suburbs of Portland and surrounding areas.

Based on the information available, Lexington Law positions itself as a provider of credit repair legal services. The services they typically offer in this capacity may include:

  • Credit Report Analysis: Reviewing a client's credit reports from the major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) to identify inaccuracies, errors, and negative items.
  • Dispute Filing: Filing disputes with the credit bureaus on behalf of the client to challenge inaccurate or unverifiable information on their credit reports.
  • Creditor Intervention: Communicating with creditors to negotiate settlements or address negative accounts.
  • Cease and Desist Letters: Sending cease and desist letters to debt collectors to stop harassment.
  • Credit Score Education: Providing clients with information and guidance on how credit scores are calculated and how to improve them.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Offering services to monitor changes in a client's credit report over time.

However, it is critical to consider the feedback from recent customers to understand the features of Lexington Law's service as experienced by those who have used it. The available reviews paint a starkly negative picture, raising significant concerns about the effectiveness and value of their services:

  • Lack of Tangible Results: One reviewer states they received "little to no help" despite paying for over six months. They report that "almost nothing of value was done" with the credit bureaus on their file, contrasting this with the firm's promises.
  • High Cost for Minimal Service: The same reviewer describes the service as "very expensive" relative to the perceived lack of action and results.
  • Poor Transparency and Accountability: When the reviewer requested a detailed list of actions taken and pointed out the discrepancy between promises and actual work, they were reportedly met with account closure and loss of online access to any work that was done. This suggests a lack of transparency and a reluctance to justify their fees.
  • Potentially Damaging Impact on Credit Score: Another reviewer issues a "BIG RED FLAG" warning, claiming that the organization will run credit "so much" that the credit score will be "barely above ZERO," with their own score allegedly dropping to just above 500 due to Lexington Law's actions. This is a severe accusation that contradicts the purported goal of credit repair.
  • Worthless and Untrustworthy: The first reviewer concludes by calling the firm "completely worthless" and advises against trusting them with personal information, even recommending them as a way to waste an enemy's time and money.

The overwhelmingly negative feedback in the available reviews suggests that potential clients should exercise extreme caution when considering Lexington Law's services. The features that are typically advertised by credit repair services, such as effective dispute resolution and credit score improvement, are directly contradicted by the experiences shared by these customers. The allegations of minimal work for high fees, lack of transparency, and even a potentially damaging impact on credit scores are significant red flags that should not be ignored.

Given the severity of the negative reviews, it is unlikely that Lexington Law is currently offering any promotions that would outweigh the concerns raised by their former clients. Potential users should prioritize the experiences of others when making a decision about engaging credit repair services, as the financial and personal risks associated with ineffective or harmful services can be substantial.

In conclusion, while Lexington Law, located in Beaverton, OR, purports to offer credit repair legal services, recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture of their effectiveness, transparency, and potential impact on credit scores. Local users seeking assistance with credit repair should carefully consider the strong negative feedback indicating a lack of valuable service for a high cost, poor communication, and even the possibility of a detrimental effect on their creditworthiness. The allegations made by these reviewers should prompt potential clients to thoroughly research alternative credit repair options and exercise extreme caution before engaging Lexington Law's services through the Nearby Lawyers platform. The significant discrepancies between the advertised services and the reported experiences necessitate a high degree of skepticism and a strong recommendation to seek further information and consider alternative providers.

Little to no help for very expensive price. I paid for over 6 months, and almost nothing of value was done on my file with the credit bureaus. I asked for a detailed list of what they did each month and pointed out how little the did compared to their promises and asked for a refund of half my payments in an attempt to get some of my money back. They responded by closing my account and locking me out of online access to what they did do over those months. They are completely worthless. Do not use them. Do not trust them with your information. I would only recommend them to an enemy to waste time and money on them.
