  • I was in a predicament regarding a debt. Bob Schoen wrote a letter on my behalf which was very helpful in negotiating a better outcome than I would have had otherwise.
  • Legal Assistance to the Elderly saved my life against abusive landlords that have been harassing and threatening me for years. The attorney, Ms. Denmark, went out of her way to protect and support me. She provided her cell phone number and with grace and knowledge of law handled an intense and dangerous situation with the police officers and the landlords. She spent hours writing emails to the landlord even late in the day. She is compassionate and caring, and I honestly owe my life to her. The other two lawyers, Mr. Drohan and Mr. Zitrin, spent hours writing emails to the landlord; at times late at night. They explained the law to the landlord with intelligence and firmness. All the lawyers kept me strong when I had no strength left. They stood strong; even though the landlord was harassing them. They called out all the lies by the landlord and protected me. I will forever be thankful for all their support.
  • Stay away from this nonprofit organization . They would go beyond in order to hurt the real elderly and disabled which is opposite from their mission. They would paint lie’s after lies. If you are a tenant— yes they can help you even if you are not elderly and disabled. If you are turned away, go to Nextdoor app and voice your complaint. They are able to help the real non disabled and middle aged crooks, there’s no reason for them to turn you away. If you are mom and pop landlord, get a lawyer, you will get sick from them. They would do motions after motions even if they get denied by the judge and the tenants left already. Their purpose is to cause delay and prevent you from fair hearing. Their purpose is to create great anxiety so you will get sick. We are the victims and I have proof of their attorney’s frivolous work.
  • LAESF is an amazing organization. We had the pleasure of working with Shelby Nacino and her team. Not only were they knowledgeable and helpful, they were caring and compassionate as well. We couldn't be more thankful for their help during this stressful time.
  • Very professional and kindly handled my documents. They provide a vital service for the Community and I am profoundly grateful.
