This introduction focuses on the Law Offices Of Susan Wolf, a law firm located at 7029 Owensmouth Ave, Canoga Park, CA 91303, USA. By examining their services, features, and real customer feedback available online, we aim to provide an objective overview to help you determine if their expertise aligns with your legal needs.

The Law Offices Of Susan Wolf is reachable by phone at (818) 943-2746 or via mobile phone at +1 818-943-2746. This accessibility suggests a commitment to client communication. Located in Canoga Park, California, the firm positions itself to serve clients within the local community and potentially surrounding areas. Understanding the environment of a law office can sometimes offer insights into its operational style. While specific details about the physical office environment are not available in the provided information, its presence at a physical address suggests a stable and established practice.

Based on the limited information available, it appears the Law Offices Of Susan Wolf specializes in family law, with a noted emphasis on child support and custody cases. One customer review explicitly mentions representation in a "divorce and custody battle" and credits Susan Wolf with successfully recovering their children after a negative court outcome with previous legal counsel. This testimonial highlights potential strengths in handling complex and emotionally charged family law matters, particularly those involving child custody. The client's statement, "She was able to recover my children," and their description of Susan Wolf as "EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT" with "experience" being a "dedicating factor" point towards strong legal acumen and effective advocacy in court.

Furthermore, the positive review emphasizes the perceived value of Susan Wolf's services, stating, "I would HIGHLY recommend Susan Wolf for those who want to see positive results in their case... As soon as I hired Susan I saw tremendous changes in my case, don’t do this alone if you need an attorney Susan Wolf is the way to go she’s worth every penny!" This strong endorsement suggests that at least one client experienced significant positive outcomes and felt the investment in Susan Wolf's legal services was justified.

However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback to form a balanced perspective. Another customer review presents a significantly contrasting experience. This review alleges issues with billing practices, specifically mentioning being "hustled out of $700 to refile for child support" and then being asked for an additional $300 for paperwork that was purportedly never filed. The reviewer also expresses dissatisfaction with the time taken to complete tasks, stating it took "3 months," and recounts having to repeatedly follow up. Additionally, this customer claims they were refused a refund and experienced a lack of resolution when contacting Susan Wolf directly. The strong negative language used, such as "never work or trust anyone in this office again!" and "if you want to give away money this is your spot," indicates a high level of dissatisfaction and raises concerns about communication, billing transparency, and the quality of service experienced by this particular client.

Considering these two contrasting reviews, it becomes evident that experiences with the Law Offices Of Susan Wolf can vary significantly. While one client praises Susan Wolf's intelligence, experience, and ability to achieve positive results in a complex custody case, another reports negative experiences related to fees, the progress of their case, and customer service. This disparity underscores the importance for potential clients to conduct their own thorough due diligence, which may include seeking additional references or consultations to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the firm's practices.

As a platform connecting local users with nearby lawyers, it is essential to present such feedback objectively, allowing individuals to weigh the information and make informed decisions based on their specific needs and risk tolerance. The positive review suggests a lawyer capable of handling difficult family law cases effectively, potentially delivering significant positive outcomes for clients. The negative review, however, raises red flags regarding potential issues with billing practices, communication, and the handling of administrative aspects of a case.

Features of the Law Offices Of Susan Wolf, based on the available information, appear to include specialization in family law, particularly child support and custody matters. The fact that a client specifically sought out Susan Wolf after an unfavorable court outcome and achieved a reversal suggests a potential strength in handling challenging legal situations and potentially appealing or modifying existing court orders. The mention of "experience" as a key factor in achieving a positive result implies that Susan Wolf possesses a depth of knowledge and understanding of family law procedures and practices.

Promotional information is limited to the implicit promotion within the positive testimonial, where the client strongly recommends Susan Wolf and deems her services "worth every penny." There is no explicit promotional messaging regarding fees, consultation offers, or specific guarantees of outcomes, which is typical for legal services where ethical considerations and the unpredictable nature of legal proceedings often preclude such promises.

In conclusion, the Law Offices Of Susan Wolf, operating within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, appears to be a law firm with a focus on family law, particularly child support and custody cases, located in Canoga Park, California. While one client review praises Susan Wolf's expertise and effectiveness in achieving a positive outcome in a complex custody battle, another review expresses significant dissatisfaction with billing practices, communication, and the handling of their child support case. Potential clients should carefully consider both perspectives and conduct further research to determine if the Law Offices Of Susan Wolf aligns with their specific legal needs and expectations. Contacting the firm directly for a consultation may provide further clarity on their services, fees, and approach to legal representation.

I would never work or trust anyone in this office again! Shanti Hess hustled me out of $700 to refile for child support and when the paperwork couldn't be filed she wanted to charge me another $300 to do more paperwork that was never filed to begin with. While it took her 3 months to complete and I had to keep texting her to make sure it was being completed. I'm filing for child support and she is hustling people out of money. She also refused to refund me my money. I also contacted her employer Susan Wolf and all I got was nothing but attitude, no call, back, no resolution! So if you want to give away money this is your spot.

I was in the middle of a mess in my own divorce and custody battle. I walked out of court and lost custody that was when I found Susan Wolf. I’m so grateful to have found and hired her because without her I would’ve been lost. She was able to recover my children. She is EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT and her experience was a dedicating factor to getting my kids back. I would HIGHLY recommend Susan Wolf for those who want to see positive results in their case. I had to spend over $25,000 on other attorneys who did absolutely nothing! As soon as I hired Susan I saw tremendous changes in my case, don’t do this alone if you need an attorney Susan Wolf is the way to go she’s worth every penny!

Susan Wolf is a very unprofessional and unethical attorney. First and foremost, upon retaining her for her legal services she assured me that she would be defending my son for his custody battle of my granddaughter. She did the complete opposite of that. She provided false legal advise. Strung me and family along with false promises regarding the case just to exorbitantly bill us without any results. Little did we know this was her plan all along. We’ve been battling for custody of a child that means the world to my family. Susan, without myself being present or aware coerced my son into signing a document that released custody of my granddaughter to her mother. She had NO CLIENT AUTHORITY to do so. We hired her so that she would provide an understanding to all legal documents, matters and to ultimately gained custody of my grandchild. Not only did she do the opposite of what she was hired to do. But upon hearing of the signing of this document, I’ve tried to continuously to call and message Susan Wolf and I haven’t had any success reaching my own so called attorney. She won’t respond or even return any of my phone calls. I’ve tried calling her office and her staff is also very unresponsive and unprofessional. The legal services she has provided has caused more damage than good to this case. I haven’t seen my granddaughter in three months and it may be much longer due to the services provided by Susan Wolf. I will be filing a complaint with The Bar Association in California because of the result of this matter. Save yourself the agony and don’t hire this very unprofessional “attorney”.

WARNING! Do you want a divorce attorney who does the bare minimum and actually represents the interests of the person you are divorcing above your own? Then hire this woman. The level of apathy and sheer incompetence that she handled our divorce with is indefensible. First of all, it is of the utmost importance to say that the husband in our case did not even have to hire a lawyer. She did such an atrocious job for us, who were paying her, that she practically served as his attorney more than she did ours. The divorce was conducted for my mother, and when I saw the original terms of the divorce, I contacted Susan Wolf to ask that she at least try to negotiate better terms, at least to motivate him to have to hire a lawyer and initiate a back and forth. Her assistant told us that “negotiating was not her strong suit.” Let me repeat that: That a licensed litigator's skill set did not include NEGOTIATION. Long story short, she didn't even try to attain a better outcome for my mother- not so much as a conversation. Basically printed out divorce papers and filled them out for thousands of dollars in fees- something a novice volunteering at a legal clinic could have done cheaper. The husband saved a ton on lawyer's fees. In effect, we paid for her to be his lawyer. We absorbed all the lawyer fees despite him being a business owner and Susan even ceded some of my mother's personal property without explaining to her what she was signing away. There is an overabundance of attorneys and what you get when that happens is a serious drop off in quality of service. Susan Wolf may sound like a great name, but Susan the kitty Cat or Susan the Translucent would be far more appropriate.

I found Susan via a recommendation from a trusted friend and I am grateful! Susan was a total pro from start to finish and made what was a pretty bad situation feel better. I felt like she understood me and my situation. She is tough, but kind and she gave me what I think was a good idea of what to expect in the months ahead which is important. I found her fees and retainer acceptable for my situation and needs. The followed through and was always available for my questions. I had a great experience with Susan and have even recommended her to others that have also been happy with her.
