Bindi represented me for the purchase of my first home. She was incredibly helpful and I really felt I had someone fighting for my best interest. When the home inspection came back with some issues she explained what is expected and what needs to be addressed. She ensured all items were addressed before closing. She was always clear in what I needed to do and provide and took the time to walk me through my closing documents. My experience has been nothing but positive and I have already recommended Bindi to several of my friends. Bindi was unfortunately not available to represent me for the sale of my home due to the timing of my sale and my experience was much less positive with another attorney. I will definitely be seeking out Bindi for all my future real estate transactions.

We had initially hired an attorney from Trenton. 2 days into the attorney review, we got concerned since that lawyer stop responding to our emails and phone calls. Considering how hot the market conditions were, my realtor suggested and brought Bindi into the picture. Understanding the time crunch we had, Bindi took on the job and right away produced a draft version for the seller’s attorney to review and started addressing all the concerns by giving us a good start. And throughout the time of the home purchase dealings, we noticed that Bindi was knowledgeable, firm where she needed to be and made sure she kept the interest of the buyer always on mind. Thank you, Bindi, for promptly available at all times for us and being a great partner during our home purchase.

She would only get back after 2-3 days of repeatedly calling. In case you do decide to hire her, please be extremely cautious about the billing rate and hours charged. In our case, the transaction (house purchase) never went past the attorney review and the deal was eventually cancelled. However to our surprise, we received an attorney bill of whopping $ 888.00. Upon inquiring, Bindi claimed that she had worked 3.3 hours @ hourly rate of $ 200.00 and the best part, there was a title cancellation invoice of $ 228! Neither I nor my wife had an inkling why a title check would be requested during attorney review, without our prior knowledge or approval. Especially since title check can be done any time prior to closing. Well, we did challenge the B.S. billing about title check and after several back and forth emails, Bindi finally agrees to waive the title fees (!!). What a scam. To cut the story short, we paid the price for our imprudence, $ 660 for something most attorneys do for free. Again, future clients, please do your homework and don't squander hard earned dollars on unprincipled attorneys like Bindi Patel. If you do have an excess of cash you can always send me some :) or even better do some charity
