Law Offices of Andrew F Mckenna, P.C. Introduce
For residents and businesses in Northglenn, Colorado, seeking legal assistance, the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C., located at 11990 Grant St Suite 550, Northglenn, CO 80233, USA, is listed under the "Nearby Lawyers" category. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the firm based on the available online reviews, which present contrasting experiences and perceptions of the services offered.
The reviews provide a direct, albeit limited, glimpse into the client experience with the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C. One reviewer strongly recommends the firm, stating that "Andrew made the whole process painless and hassle free." This positive feedback suggests that at least one client found the services to be efficient and easy to navigate. This could indicate a streamlined process, effective communication, and a helpful approach to legal matters, potentially making complex procedures more manageable for clients.
In stark contrast, another reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction with the services received. This detailed negative review outlines several key concerns. Firstly, it mentions that full payment for services was made upfront. Secondly, due to the client's grandfather becoming terminally ill with cancer and unable to fully participate in the legal process (specifically a bankruptcy case), Mr. McKenna reportedly did not personally spend significant time on the case. Following the grandfather's passing and the lack of progress in the bankruptcy case, a request for a refund was allegedly refused, with a low return offer made, citing that the case was already in storage off-site. This paints a picture of a firm that may prioritize upfront payment and may not be flexible or communicative in the face of unforeseen and serious client circumstances.
The negative review further characterizes the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C., as a "poorly run office" and a practice where the lawyer is "all about the money as opposed to his clients." The reviewer alleges a lack of communication, leaving the client "in the dark" on the majority of the case, and suggests that the client had to do the work themselves while still paying lawyer fees. The review concludes with a strong recommendation against using this lawyer, particularly for bankruptcy, and describes Mr. McKenna as "very inconsiderate and selfish," stating that he is "not a good people person."
Given these two highly divergent reviews, it is challenging to definitively describe the typical environment or features of working with the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C. One might infer that for some clients, the process is smooth and hassle-free, while for others, particularly when unexpected challenges arise, the experience can be marked by a lack of communication, inflexibility regarding fees, and a perceived lack of personal attention from the lawyer.
The services offered by the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C., appear to include at least bankruptcy law, as indicated by the negative review. However, the positive review does not specify the area of law for which services were provided. It is common for law offices to handle various legal matters, so potential clients should inquire directly about the firm's specific areas of expertise to determine if they align with their needs.
Features that might be associated with the firm, based on the reviews, could include a potentially efficient and painless process for some, but also a risk of poor communication, inflexibility regarding fees in extenuating circumstances, and a perceived lack of client-centered service for others. The requirement for full upfront payment, as mentioned in the negative review, is also a notable feature of their business practice, which prospective clients should be aware of and comfortable with.
In terms of promotional information, the positive review serves as a direct recommendation, highlighting a positive experience. However, this is significantly countered by the detailed and strongly negative review, which actively discourages potential clients from using the firm's services, particularly for bankruptcy matters. This creates a situation where prospective clients must weigh these contrasting experiences carefully.
For local users in Northglenn considering the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C., it is crucial to approach this listing with caution and to conduct thorough due diligence. The significant discrepancy between the two available reviews suggests that client experiences may vary considerably. Potential clients should consider contacting the firm directly to inquire about their specific legal needs, the firm's processes, fee structures, and communication practices. It would also be prudent to ask about their policies regarding unforeseen circumstances and the level of direct attorney involvement in cases.
Given the strong negative feedback regarding communication and client service in a sensitive situation, prospective clients, especially those facing complex or uncertain legal matters, may want to prioritize clear and consistent communication and a client-focused approach when choosing a lawyer. The experience described in the negative review raises concerns about the level of empathy and support clients might receive, particularly when dealing with personal hardships alongside their legal issues.
In conclusion, the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna, P.C., in Northglenn, Colorado, presents a mixed picture based on the limited online reviews available. While one client reported a painless and hassle-free process, another detailed a highly negative experience involving upfront payment, lack of progress due to unforeseen client circumstances, refusal of a reasonable refund, poor communication, and a perceived lack of client focus. Local users in Northglenn should carefully consider these contrasting viewpoints and conduct their own thorough investigation, including direct communication with the firm, to determine if their services align with their individual legal needs and expectations regarding client service and communication. The strong negative review, in particular, warrants careful consideration for those seeking legal representation, especially in sensitive areas like bankruptcy.

Strongly recommend. Andrew made the whole process painless and hassle free.
I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. We paid for his services in full ahead of time. My grandfather ended up deathly ill with Cancer. He was not well enough to fully go through the process there for Mr.McKenna did not personally spend any time on this case. My grandfather has since passed without any progress made in his bankruptcy case and when we asked for a refund of any sort due to the circumstances of my grandfather falling ill and dying all within that year Mr.McKenna refused and gave a low ball number to return stating the case was already in storage that is not at his office. This is a poorly run office and a lawyer all about the money as opposed to his clients. If you want any sort of help this is not your guy. He would rather collect your money, not communicate at all, and leave you in the dark on majority of this case. You will be putting in the work to get your case figured out while paying lawyer fees for him to sit back and watch. People do business with people and Mr.McKenna is not a good people person. I would recommend going else where if you’re looking for a bankruptcy lawyer this is not your guy. I wish I could give 0 stars. Very inconsiderate and selfish.
Best bankruptcy attorney in the state! Andrew is kind, smart, explains everything, and is usually easy to reach by phone. He always responds within a day if he misses calls while in court. He has been doing bankruptcy cases for a long time. He has seen it all.
Back in 2010, I was in way over my head in credit card debt. I was barely staying above water and my mortgage payment was becoming more and more difficult each month. As a single father, I needed to figure out something quick! I definitely needed advice and financial counseling. I turned to the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna and I'm glad I did! Andrew was always straightforward and very professional about his business. I never once felt that I was doing something wrong or shameful. I simply needed financial guidance and I'm lucky to have chosen the Law Offices of Andrew F McKenna. If this situation sounds familiar, choose Andrew for an improved financial pathway!
Andrew is quick and efficient. I am very pleased with the work he did on my case and highly recommend him.
