For individuals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, seeking legal representation, the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara are located at 2043 Locust St # 300, Philadelphia, PA 19103, USA. This law firm can be contacted by phone at (215) 557-9084 or via their mobile number, +1 215-557-9084.

As a member of the "Nearby Lawyers" category, the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara aim to provide legal services to the local Philadelphia community. Understanding the firm's environment, the scope of its services, and the experiences of past clients is essential for those seeking legal assistance. The address, 2043 Locust St # 300, places the firm in a multi-story building in a mixed residential and commercial area of Philadelphia. Suite 300 suggests a professional office setting suitable for client consultations and legal work. The location offers accessibility within the city.

Based on the available customer reviews, the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara appear to specialize in immigration law. One client explicitly mentions Attorney Caprara's assistance with their immigration process, highlighting his ability to navigate the complexities and stress often associated with such cases. This positive feedback suggests that the firm has experience and expertise in handling various immigration matters, potentially including applications for permanent residency, citizenship, visas, and deportation defense. The client expresses a "lifetime of gratitude" for Attorney Caprara's guidance, indicating a high level of satisfaction with the services provided in their immigration case.

In contrast, another review details a significantly negative experience with an attorney named Mr. Raymond Basso, also seemingly associated with this law office, although his specific role (partner, associate, etc.) is not mentioned. This review recounts a protracted and unsuccessful attempt by the client's father to obtain a permanent resident card, allegedly due to Mr. Basso's negligence, including missed court cases, incomplete and incorrect documentation, and poor communication characterized by repeated lies. The reviewer strongly advises against engaging with Mr. Basso, citing the stressful and detrimental impact of his alleged inaction on their family. This negative feedback raises serious concerns about the quality of service provided by at least one attorney within the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara.

The features of the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara, as gleaned from the customer reviews, present a stark contrast. Attorney Alfonso Caprara is portrayed as "amazing," both professionally and personally, with an ability to effectively navigate the often-challenging immigration process, providing support and guidance to his clients. These attributes suggest competence, empathy, and a client-focused approach in immigration law. However, the experience described with Mr. Raymond Basso highlights potential issues with diligence, accuracy, communication, and honesty. This significant discrepancy suggests that the quality of service and client experience may vary considerably depending on the specific attorney assigned to a case within this firm.

The positive review of Attorney Caprara serves as a strong piece of promotional information, particularly for individuals seeking immigration assistance in the Philadelphia area. The client's gratitude and praise for his guidance through a stressful process can be a significant factor for potential clients seeking a competent and supportive immigration lawyer. However, the extremely negative review regarding Mr. Basso acts as a critical counterpoint, potentially deterring clients, especially those with complex or time-sensitive immigration matters. The firm's presence in the "Nearby Lawyers" category indicates its availability to the local community, but the conflicting client experiences underscore the importance of careful consideration and due diligence.

Given the contrasting feedback, local users considering the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara should exercise caution and seek clarity regarding the attorney who would be handling their case. The positive experience with Attorney Caprara specifically in immigration law is encouraging for those with such needs. However, the serious allegations against Mr. Basso warrant thorough investigation and perhaps a direct inquiry about his current standing or involvement with the firm. Potential clients should prioritize clear communication, a demonstrated track record of success in their specific legal area, and a comfortable level of trust with their chosen attorney. It may be prudent to specifically request a consultation with Attorney Alfonso Caprara if seeking immigration services based on the positive review.

In conclusion, the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara in Philadelphia appear to specialize in immigration law, with one client expressing high satisfaction with Attorney Caprara's services in this area. However, a separate review details a severely negative experience with an attorney named Mr. Raymond Basso, alleging significant professional misconduct in an immigration case. Local users should carefully consider these contrasting accounts and conduct thorough due diligence to ensure they choose an attorney within the firm who is well-suited to handle their legal needs effectively and ethically. Direct communication with the firm to inquire about the attorneys' expertise and track records is strongly recommended.

For individuals in the Philadelphia area seeking legal assistance with immigration matters, the Law Offices of Alfonso Caprara can be contacted at 2043 Locust St # 300, Philadelphia, PA 19103, or by phone at (215) 557-9084 or +1 215-557-9084. When contacting the firm, potential clients may wish to inquire specifically about Attorney Alfonso Caprara's experience and availability for their immigration case.

My family’s experience with Mr. Raymond Basso was terrible. It took my father almost 10 years to get his permanent resident card because Mr. Basso missed multiple court cases, filed incomplete and incorrect documentation, and did not keep a clear line of communication. When confronted about the missed court cases and incorrect documentation, Mr. Basso repeatedly lied to my father. I would never want another person or family to go through the stressful circumstances mine endured due to Mr. Basso’s inaction. 0/10

Attorney Caprara is just an amazing person, professionally and personally. The immigration process isn't always easy, takes time, can be stressful but his office was always there for me, and knew how to navigate my process. I owe him a lifetime of gratitude for guiding me thru everything

In Oct 28, 2021, I have my first appointment with Mr. Caprara related to immigration proceedings. The interview went Amazing, he told me, I quote "You have a Lawyer now" end quote. He made me feel so well that all my worries about my case dropped instantly. (I was charged $100) The follow up was a second interview that he said it will be done by phone (he will call me) (Great) Also since I didn't have my date in court yet, he told me to contact him by email in the case I receive something. I was promised that they will respond quickly. A few days later I received the letter from the court with the date we should present the case which is January 4th, 2022. I emailed him several times and none of my emails were answered. I called several times and the representatives he has answering the phone (I think they are interns) couldn't get me in touch with Mr. Caprara and no directions to follow whatsoever. Well, I thought "no problem" I have a second appointment (by phone) with him so that day I will tell him. The day of the second appointment arrived and I didn't receive the promised phone call nor emails so I called several times with no success, the only solution I got from the person I spoke with was to get me a second appointment with another Lawyer (Another $100) within the same office for Dec 14 two weeks before appearing in court and with absolutely no guarantee he will take my case. At this moment I realized that while I was waiting in his office on my first interview there were several customers calling desperately seeking Mr. Caprara and the personnel responding the phone calls were telling them exactly what they are now telling me. I quote "Mr. Caprara is attending other customers, he is not available at this moment. I will pass your message to him" end quote. I'm wondering how many customers that went through the first interview and paid $100 never got to the second interview like me. This is just not acceptable. I also would like to clarify that this review is not to question Mr. Caprara professional career, knowledge and years of expertise that for sure he has under his belt but to share the pain that some of his customers are going through due to the fact that he doesn't have the capacity to represent all of the customers that he promised he will represent but just a portion of them. This has been a waste of my short time that I could hire a Lawyer that would not just promise but get the job to completion.

Mr Caprara was excellent in resolving my husband’s immigration problems a few years ago. My husband is now a US citizen when we thought that all hope was lost. I am forever grateful to Mr Caprara and refer everyone to him when I hear about difficult immigration situations.
