Watch out this is the first law office who will change their words after paying them and will be against you when your the victim on the case and not try to even defend you in court Cesars simply told me good luck convincing the judge when at the beginning he said that’s an easy case till I paid him I went to this law office and Paid them for a service they never filed properly. And it took them 8 months to get a court date and when you call them to check up they will speak with you with no manners, they will take your money and try to charge you for even more very disappointed and all they want is your money. They will take the money and not do their job. Very bad service.

This attorney Cesar is the worst attorney I ever met. He over charged me. He lied in the court by sending wrong information to the judge by me since I disagree with his over charges. He refused to give my money back that he never attended in the child support. He also refused to appear in the divorce case because he is demanding for money. He refused to give my original documents unless I signed on a paper he gave.. I have attached the proof below.

I want to share my experience with Cesar at “Law Offices of Ahmed & Gonzalez”. At the beginning everything seem ok that’s what happens when you’re naive to how the family court works. You think it’s ok until it’s not. The more I understood and started to ask questions I was treated in a very condescending way, he never follow up after court appearance no email or a phone call or any kind of information whatsoever. He missed one of my court dates and told me that he had asked the court to be adjourned and then advise me to not appear in court, “big mistake”that put myself at a very bad situation. I found out later that my case was dismissed and because no one appeared in court. I paid for every appearance$750. I paid my retainers fee to continue with my divorce case but after seeing the lack of communication and dedication to my case I decided to cancel his services. he almost missed my latest court date for that reason I understood it’s was time to find a new counsel. I wouldn’t had let him to do that twice. Until now I have not received my money back, he has not sent me an itemized statement not return my emails or calls. It’s been two months now.. Please don’t waste your money there is other great attorneys out there that will treat you with more respect and will be honest and transparent. so sad to not be able to support local business for places like this “Law Offices of Ahmed & Gonzalez” that only do harm to the local working people in the bronx.

This review is based on my own personal experience with this firm. I hired Mr. Gonzales to represent my child support case in the Bronx county family court. In the first initial consultation "side note" that he charges $100 for, he basically made mention of numerous tactics and strategic actions that could be taken on my case. His fees are outrageous by the way! Shop around! Virtual court appearances from the comfort of his office are $850.00 per appearance. Easy money! The first virtual appearance he preformed like a champ. Immediately after that every other court appearance I noticed the lack of interest / involvement to defend or rebuttal opposing attorney's unverifiable defense statements to the case. I repeatedly caught him in many lies and inadequately representing my case. A few example of red 🚩you should watch out for. Withholds and excludes clients from correspondence with courts. Denies clients the right to emails requested on their own cases. Refuses to provide case specific information. Deliberately refuses to comply with his clients wishes. Violates ethical responsibilities to his clients, fails to disclose and submit vital documents to the courts on behalf of his client to support the case. Keeps client on pause for days for documents updates and then gets defensive when asked to verify his statements with paper trail. He speaks to his clients in a condescending manner. Dose not maintain a courteous and civil attitude towards clients. Uses excuses like " I am not in the office to send the email and upon my return to the office it would be done". "Side note that email was never sent. What ever happened to smart phones though? He allow personal obstructions and inconveniences he maybe experiencing in his personal life to prevents him from taking lawful and ethical measures required to vindicate the clients cause and endeavor. When I repeatedly asked Mr. Gonzalez for case specific information to be sent to me and voicing my concerns of his unacceptable conduct, lack of professionalism / failure to pursue a client's legitimate interest within the bound of the law to satisfice my wishes, his response was to withdraw from my case. I'm no attorney but if this is the type of service you get for hiring Mr. Gonzalez @ $800 pre appearance you are better off representing your self. If I could rate him zero 🌟 I would.

Disappointed in this service … contracted Mr.Gonzalez to represent my husband in court and he decide on the day of the court date to cancelled and advise us not appear or reschedule (mind you any rescheduling should be done 5 days prior to , also this date had been set since July ), his excuse was he had another case and he forgot to cancelled with us . As an business owner I understand thing happen but you must have an organized system to stay Up to date. Use this lawyer at your own risk ⚠️ he might leave you high and dry on court date ⛔️ REPLY: WE DID CALL YOU OFFICE THE WEEK OF , YOU SAID YOU WOULD CALL BACK TO CONFIRM AND NEVER DID. & THOSE TERMS SHOULD BE STATED IN YOUR CONTRACT SO YOUR CLIENTS KNOW ANY VIRTUAL COURT HEARING WILL NOT BE ATTENDED BY YOU IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CASE.
