  • SCAM!!! I set up a call for a so-called free consultation for this morning. I was contacted on time by someone who sounded like they were half asleep and was repeating themselves. They said they needed to qualify me before speaking with the attorney, which is understandable. Then he mentioned having to pay a $50 fee just to speak with the attorney for a consultation. I let him know that it says there is a free consultation online and before I pay any money, I would like to speak with the attorney to see if they can even help with my situation because it is pretty unique. The guy was super rude and hung up on me! I wish I would have looked up reviews prior to even scheduling an appointment with them because clearly this is other peoples experience as well and it’s absolutely disgusting.
  • Please read this review before being a victim of this legally-stablished scam. This company proudly offers "just a clear price for the service you get" and "no hourly rates, no surprise bills", which is exactly the opposite I got. I was offered by the phone 2 services for a fixed $5K, the (i) representation in Mediation and (ii) in Trial for a Divorce; nevertheless at the end of Mediation session (only 4 hours) the assigned attorney surprised me with the notice I was all by myself going forward. If I wanted to be accompanied going forward I had to pay additional hourly fees. When I filed a complaint requesting a script of the call where I got scammed, they lawyerly managed the situation by not responding to a state entity such as the Department of Consumer Services. Going through a divorce is painful enough to ran into scammers like The Marble Law. Please refrain from contracting this guys or at least take your time to read every single line of the Contract you are enforced to sign while on the phone. Hang up and take them time to go over the terms and conditions until you feel comfortable with them.
  • They were quick to set up appointment and even quicker to dismiss me by an unprofessional man, unsure of the law. While having his home fumigation, and fussing with his pet, he advised me that I needed a NY attorney. So untrue. I would stay away from this inexperienced firm.
  • Scam...the entire law firm no matter the city or location. They'll take your money and that'll be the last time you'll hear from them. Can't believe this company is still allowed to be in business.
  • I've called a couple of time and no one seems interested in speaking to me at all. The first time I left a voice message, the second I spoke to a lady who said she'd have someone call me in 24-48 hours, and I waited three days called back and the gentleman I spoke to told me to call back in 30 minutes and it rang to voicemail.

About Law Office of Tina Marble

For individuals in Plantation, Florida, seeking legal assistance and browsing the "Nearby Lawyers" category, it is crucial to approach the Law Office of Tina Marble, located at NW 87th Terrace, with significant caution. The available online reviews paint a concerning picture regarding their consultation process and billing practices, which potential clients should carefully consider before engaging their services. While the firm is listed as a local legal option, the overwhelmingly negative feedback warrants a thorough and objective introduction based on the experiences shared by real customers.

The Law Office of Tina Marble can be reached by phone at (954) 933-4665 or their mobile number, +1 954-933-4665. The lack of a specific street number in the address provided online makes it challenging to ascertain the exact environment of their office. However, the negative reviews focus primarily on their business practices rather than the physical environment of their location.

The services offered by the Law Office of Tina Marble appear to include divorce representation and mediation, as indicated by one of the detailed negative reviews. However, the experiences shared by customers raise serious concerns about the transparency and integrity of these services. One reviewer recounted being offered representation in both mediation and trial for a fixed fee of $5,000 for a divorce case. Shockingly, after only a four-hour mediation session, the assigned attorney allegedly informed the client that their representation was concluded, and any further assistance, including for the trial, would incur additional hourly fees. This directly contradicts the initial fixed-fee agreement, leading the client to label their experience a "legally-stablished scam."

Another significant issue raised in the reviews concerns the initial consultation process. Despite the online indication of a "free consultation," one potential client reported being immediately subjected to a "qualification" process by someone who seemed unprofessional and was then informed of a $50 fee to speak with the attorney. When the client questioned this fee, referencing the advertised free consultation and expressing a desire to briefly discuss their unique situation before payment, the representative was reportedly rude and abruptly hung up. This experience strongly suggests deceptive advertising and unprofessional conduct.

The features that the Law Office of Tina Marble purportedly offers, such as "just a clear price for the service you get" and "no hourly rates, no surprise bills," are directly contradicted by the experiences shared in the negative reviews. One client explicitly stated that they received the exact opposite of these advertised features, highlighting a significant discrepancy between the firm's promises and their actual billing practices. The alleged bait-and-switch tactic employed after the mediation session, where a fixed-fee client was suddenly presented with hourly rates for subsequent services, directly violates the "no surprise bills" claim.

Furthermore, the firm's alleged response to a formal complaint raises additional concerns about their accountability and professionalism. The client who experienced the billing discrepancy reported filing a complaint and requesting a script of the initial call where the services and fees were discussed. They claim that the Law Office of Tina Marble "lawyerly managed the situation by not responding to a state entity such as the Department of Consumer Services." This lack of response to a regulatory body suggests a potential disregard for consumer protection and a lack of transparency in their business dealings.

There is no positive promotional information to extract from the provided reviews. Instead, the recurring themes of deceptive consultation practices and misrepresented billing arrangements serve as a stark warning to potential clients. The strong language used by reviewers, such as "SCAM!!!" and "Please read this review before being a victim of this legally-stablished scam," underscores the severity of their negative experiences and the urgent need for caution.

The Law Office of Tina Marble's alleged failure to honor a fixed-fee agreement after a minimal amount of work, coupled with the reported attempt to impose unexpected hourly rates, is a serious breach of trust and professional ethics. For individuals going through stressful situations like divorce, encountering such practices can be particularly damaging and exploitative.

The discrepancy between the advertised "free consultation" and the demand for a $50 qualification fee, followed by rude and dismissive behavior, suggests a lack of integrity in their client intake process. This initial negative interaction can deter potential clients and indicates a lack of respect for their time and concerns.

In conclusion, based on the available online reviews, potential clients in Plantation, Florida, searching for "Nearby Lawyers" should exercise extreme caution when considering the Law Office of Tina Marble. The experiences shared by multiple reviewers allege deceptive consultation practices, misrepresented billing arrangements, and a failure to honor advertised pricing. The serious accusations of scam-like behavior and unprofessional conduct warrant thorough investigation and consideration of alternative legal representation. The Law Office of Tina Marble's purported features of clear pricing and no surprise bills are directly contradicted by customer experiences. Individuals seeking legal services in the area are strongly advised to carefully scrutinize these reviews and potentially seek counsel from other, more favorably reviewed law firms to avoid becoming victims of potentially unethical practices. It is recommended to thoroughly vet any legal professional and carefully review all contracts and fee agreements before committing to their services.
