This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the firm based on the provided testimonials, highlighting both positive and significantly negative experiences to allow for informed decision-making.
Information regarding the specific environment of the Law Office of Richard S. Jacinto, Inc. is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, located on East Green Street in Pasadena, a well-established area with various professional offices, one might expect a standard office setting for legal consultations and administrative work. Given the starkly contrasting nature of the reviews, it's challenging to infer a consistent client experience regarding the office atmosphere or the professionalism encountered upon visiting. Potential clients may wish to inquire directly about the office environment during an initial contact.
Based on the limited testimonials, the Law Office of Richard S. Jacinto, Inc. appears to offer services in at least two distinct areas of law: immigration, specifically special immigrant juvenile visas, and potentially other areas given the negative review which doesn't specify the case type. The services that can be inferred include:
- Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) Visas: The firm has at least one positive review specifically recommending their office for assistance with special immigrant juvenile visas, indicating experience and success in this particular area of immigration law. This involves helping eligible children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected obtain legal permanent residency in the United States.
- General Legal Representation (Nature Unspecified): The strongly negative review suggests the firm handles other types of legal cases, although the specific area of law is not mentioned. The issues raised in this review pertain to communication, organization, adherence to timelines, client service, and fee transparency, which are relevant across various legal domains.
- Assistance with Court Documents: The positive review mentioning immigration approval implies assistance with the preparation and filing of necessary legal documents related to the specific case type.
The limited client feedback presents a stark contrast in experiences, making it essential to carefully consider the features and potential pitfalls highlighted:
Features Based on Positive Reviews:
- Success in Specific Immigration Cases: The firm has demonstrated success in at least one instance involving a special immigrant juvenile visa, leading to the client's approval.
- Serious Approach to Cases: One positive review mentions that the firm took the client's case "very seriously" from the beginning and did everything possible to win.
- Recommendation for SIJ Visas: There is a direct recommendation for the office's services specifically related to special immigrant juvenile visas.
Features and Potential Issues Based on the Negative Review:
- Lack of Communication: A significant issue raised is the difficulty in communicating with the firm, with claims of emails going unanswered and an inability to schedule meetings.
- Disrespectful Behavior: The negative review alleges disrespectful behavior and the use of profanity by the attorney towards the client.

- Recommendation to Report to the Bar: Another attorney reportedly advised the dissatisfied client to file a complaint with the Bar, indicating potentially serious professional misconduct.
There is no information provided regarding any specific promotional offers from the Law Office of Richard S. Jacinto, Inc. In conclusion, for local users in Pasadena, CA, seeking legal representation and considering the Law Office of Richard S. Jacinto, Inc. within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, the available online reviews present a highly polarized view of the firm. On one hand, there is a positive testimonial specifically recommending their services for special immigrant juvenile visas, citing a successful outcome and a serious approach to the case. On the other hand, there is a scathing review detailing severe issues with communication, client service, professionalism, organization, and fee transparency in a different, unspecified type of case. This stark contrast makes it challenging to form a definitive overall assessment based solely on these limited reviews.
Potential clients considering the Law Office of Richard S. Jacinto, Inc. should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. If your legal needs align with special immigrant juvenile visas, the positive review suggests they may have specific expertise in this area. However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding other aspects of their practice should not be ignored. It is strongly recommended that prospective clients seek additional reviews from other sources if available, and most importantly, schedule an initial consultation to discuss their specific legal needs, ask detailed questions about the firm's practices, communication protocols, fee structure, and overall approach to client service. It would be prudent to seek clarification on the firm's processes for keeping clients informed, managing deadlines, and ensuring transparency in billing. Ultimately, the decision of whether to engage the Law Office of Richard S. Jacinto, Inc. should be based on a comprehensive evaluation of all available information and a personal assessment of comfort and confidence in their ability to meet your specific legal requirements. The significant discrepancies in client experiences underscore the importance of thorough vetting before making a hiring decision.

Do you want an attorney that never listens to your needs? Do you want someone who disrespects you and curses at you when you ask for help? Well Jacinto is the lawyer for you! I don’t know how this firm is still in business because it’s like if a 12 year old got their BAR license. My realtor is a better attorney than he is. I understand attorneys have other clients and cases sometimes take years, but trying to communicate with anyone at this firm is impossible. I have a better chance at trying to reach someone in another country than this attorney. I have multiple emails that show lack of communication, not being informed of deadlines, doing things at the last minute, not giving me timelines about anything and ALSO every time I try to schedule a meeting with them they would ignore me. They would just tell me not to worry about it and I would be left in the dark. Being there for your clients matters. Being organized and responsible matters. I had court dates a couple times and I would be ready thirty minutes before and the attorney would just be getting ready as soon as the hearing started. At the end of my case I wasn’t even told honestly about what fees I’ll end up paying and ended up being robbed because the attorney wasn’t upfront with me about it. I have evidence of signing several documents that stated the funds I will receive and I didn’t get that amount at the end of my case. I had to get advice from another attorney at my own job to try to figure out how to talk to this firm’s attorney and they told me to report him to the Bar and file a complaint and I should have done that. When your attorney doesn’t care about you or your case, it’s difficult being a client because you don’t know what to do. Maybe after 30 years in the business it’s time to retire because you’re not all there with your clients. The way you talk to your clients and deal with your cases is important. The way you set the bar, no pun intended, at the beginning of your relationship, makes an impression. I cannot not recommend this firm enough.
Thank you Mr. Jacinto, Mr. Ron, and Ms. Sandra. Immigration approved my special immigrant juvenile visa. I recommend this office for special immigrant juvenile visas. From day one they took my case very seriously and did everything possible to win it. I recommend them 100%
I recommend this law office to everyone. This office helped me with my immigration case. Very honest people. I recommend the lawyer and the staff who work in that place are responsible and honest people, there is no bad complaint to...
Thank you Mr. Jacinto for helping me with my immigration case. Mr. Jacinto helped me with my special immigrant juvenile status petition. He was always there with me in court providing me support. Thanks to him, I won my case.
I hired attorney Jacinto for my case and he ended up passing me on to another attorney. Worst decision ever to hire him and the other attorney showed no interest at all . Don’t waste your money and time with this law firm all they care about is collecting your money . Once I got passed on I didn’t hear from Jacinto and the new attorney didn’t show up to court and was never informed about future court dates I had to call and find out information about my case .
