  • 100% professional, tip top service from start to finish. I came to them with an unusual landlord tenant case. They knew exactly what to do, and then went and did it for us. Their fees were explained up front and I found them to be more than fair. Highly recommend.
  • I retained attorney Matthew Ehrhardt for a contractor dispute between myself and our contracted contractor. Besides consulting and the bare minimum of work to defend your interest don't expect anymore of that. There will be zero questions answered should you have any pop up through out the process, zero follow up on your behalf, zero further defending if need be, if you call the office don't expect any calls back. This lawyer will take your retainer and do the least amount of work possible. I suggest you keep looking for a better attorney if you want someone who will make sure the job is done and your interest or projects are made whole.
  • Horrible didn't help me in a rental of toxic gas in the plumbing lines. I lost with no reimbursement or medical costs. The gas causes Cancer and my Female beautiful Sheltie breathing in the toxic, she passed away living in a house with contaminated air quality. I hired a plumber, I went to the City State and advised the sewer system had issues in that town. I never received a penny for the damages and moving in and out and the cost and tragic loss..All I had to do is flee from the rental. Beware
  • Called to schedule a consultation, the secretary said he was not at his desk, asked if I would like to hold or receive a phone call back. I asked for a phone call back. I never received the phone call. The next day I called again, the secretary apologized and said she would have him call me back as soon as possible. It has been days now with no phone call. This attorney seems unreliable and I would not recommend him to anyone. Just a waste of time.

My case was an owner-occupied property holdover case in which the unit needs mass repair. For a very fair fee and convienent payment process, we applied to Essex County Court for an emergency hearing, in which throughout the process, his paralegal Melissa was extremely pleasant and answered all questions with class during the stressful matter. We won our case and now I am applying for two separate lawsuits for recovery of rent and other attorney fees. Pros: An outstanding attorney with advance knowledge of NJ Landlord Tenant Law and statutes Very Professional and caring staff Intimidating and diplomatic presence in the courtroom Aggressive and Tactful legal mind Affordable pricing and payment schedule (could be anywhere from $500-2500 for his services depending on what you need done) Cons: Due to his high success rate, has a lot of clientele and can take some time to get back to you in a timely manner (when you are the best, you have it like that) My case was in Essex County, in an Emergency matter, but it was held virtually, since Essex County will go back to in-person trial, it is very unlikely that he will take a case outside of Middlesex, Ocean, Monmouth, or Mercer County. But it is worth a try. Overall, this lawyer is well worth the money, time and services. Trust and believe, that no tenant wants a letter from Michael D. Mirne in the state. Accordingly, you can feel confident that his firm will get you the best results possible, and more than likely you can expect an eviction, a lockout and a judgment for possession for your property.
